Cara and Raven. Raven is the reclusive CEO of Isanti. He is also the head of the 'Shadow Walkers' a group of people who have the power to walk through shadows from one place to another. They use their power to help the government spy on terrorists and bring them to justice. But to the public, he is the illusive CEO whose face is rarely captured on camera. Cara is a public school teacher who has just won an award put forward by Isanti. As soon as Raven meets Cara, he know she's the one, his mate, but Cara doesn't make it too easy for him. And when the bad-guys learn that Raven has a weakness, they are quick to take advantage. I loved Raven and Cara. He's super hot and she's no push over. The story itself is a little choppy and drags in parts. I wish there was less time devoted to the 'next romantic couple' and just save that for the next book. But overall it was good and I plan to read more in this series! I also look forward to learning more about 'Shadow Walkers'.

Wow! This is a different approach to paranormal and I loved it! Using Native American stories to create a beautiful series. This first book was a wonderful read. I have enjoyed all of Caryn's books so far and can't wait to read more!
