I wasn't sure where it was going, I think the story has a lot of potential. It doesn't end here, it's just the first part. The premise is out there and the idea of it being a D/s narrative is not completely correct, I mean it sort of is, but then again, it's not like anything I've read before, so maybe it's on point? The writing itself was technically good, and the bones of the story are decent, but I felt like the precedence of the plot was unrealistic even though I know it's fiction, I still want to believe that the story is possible. I did like most of the piece of the story, although I'm not a fan of cliffhangers this fact had nothing to do with my rating. I was just not sold on the premise even after reading through this part of the story.

this is a so-so book

While there are sexy scenes in this novella, the scenes aren’t scorching hot. It really is just sort of middle of the road. I’m not really compelled to continue reading this series. It feels like a missed opportunity.

Great

I really enjoyed reading this book. She had to save her brother. He was into BDSM. The only thing I did not like was that it has a Cliffhanger!
