Rate this book
Black and Shy are back together again and on the trail of a murderer. Shy is heartbroken when she finds that her half-sister, Porsche Sims, has been found dead, the apparent victim of a lethal combination of heroin and cocaine. Only Porsche wasn’t a shooter. “She was afraid of needles.” The entire Sims family is present at her funeral, except for her brother, Gary. Nobody has seen or heard from him in weeks. Now Black and Shy have their work cut out for them. They must find out what happened to her brother and catch whoever is responsible for her sister’s murder and deal with them.
Meanwhile, Nick has broken up with Rain because she still insists there’s something going on between him and Wanda. Since the break up, Rain has been drinking more than she should and as a consequence, she has become very easily agitated and even quicker to pull her gun and use it. When Chris Toney tells Rain about a place that they can rob and come away with big money, Rain is all ears. The job is successful. But soon Rain and her Purple Gang find themselves outnumbered and outgunned. Rain knows that she is in over her head and turns to Black and Bobby to get her out of it.

Great Read

This book was a great book. Roy Glenn has kept the readers on the edge with the story line. I really love how Rain handles her business. I look forward to the next series.
