The Shop of Shades and Secrets (5 stars):
This was fun, quirky with enough intrigue to keep me interested even if I did manage to guess who the bad person was. I found it enjoyable to read a story where the characters actually seemed real and not stereo-typical.

Twenty-Eight and a Half Wishes (5 stars):
I so enjoyed the main character and her form of swearing as it's similar to a couple of my characters. This is another where the characters seem real in their descriptions which added to my enjoyment.

For most of the part i really enjoyed this collection, and how can you go wrong for the price.
What i did not enjoy was a couple of the authors included books that were in the middle of a series. I almost felt like if i wanted to enjoy all the books i was going to be compelled into buying the other books in the series. so the books that started in the middle of a series i skipped over.

The only author I had read previously from this collection was Tina Folsom, but I think I have found a few other new favorite authors! All the stories were captivating in their own way with loveable characters and fun storylines. I would definitely recommend this collection to other romance readers.

Stories start with good plots but get mired in seaxual angst, that just ruins the whole series of books. Good writing goes South!!!!!
