You'd think being stuck in the body of a beautiful seventeen year old girl forever would be a gift. But when you are fallen, it is more like a curse.

Indiana was a beautiful angel, enjoying the perks of Heaven, until she was tricked by a demon to fall in love with him. She was forced to fall from Heaven and remain in her seventeen year old form, banished to Earth, for all of eternity.

Now, unable to cope with her banishment, she is a seemingly normal seventeen year old girl by day, while she spends her nights punishing men for the wrongs they have committed against women.

Although Indiana has lived on Earth for thousands of years, she recently settled into a small town, where she has finally been able to make some lasting friendships. When a handsome, mysterious boy comes to town, Indiana knows something is not right. He might end up her ally, or she might end up in the fight of her life.

I don't think I have ever met such a kick-butt Angel as Indiana.I mean she personifies the Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't kick your butt.I was really reminded of a somewhat nicer Rebecca from Vampire Diaries.Indy, as her friends call her has a select group of friends. Her closest friend Connor is her rock. When Nate comes to town all hell breaks loose..Literally,He is a demon hunter sent to hunt Demons,For some reason Nate is tasked with Killing Indy. Will he go through with it or will he become her ally?
The writing flowed very well. The story itself was easy to follow and drew you in. It was a somewhat fast read for me,but I thoroughly enjoyed it .Its always great when an Author finds a new way to write about Angels.I love love love reading about Fallen Angels so this book is right up there in that Category.Great Job Aria!!

Well written, easy to read
Not a genre that I would normally choose but thoroughly enjoyed the break from my normal reading.
The characters were relatable and the relationships were believable.
The book could have been longer, I am hanging out eagerly for the next instalment. If only Aria herself had Superhuman powers to write a novel in super speed time!
The perfect novel for Young Adults, have been recommending to everyone, although many do not have a kindle so are busting for the novel to hit shelves in stores.

Heavenly Hell is a very quick read. I'm a pretty fast reader but I read the book in just a couple of hours. Which is great for me at the moment. I have been so busy that my reading attention span has been waning, but I was able to zip through Heavenly Hell no problem. Heavenly Hell follows Indy, a fallen angel and a demon hunter. Angels and demons is not a new theme in young adult books, but I have not read any book with this kind of take on the idea. There are fallen angels, who are still pretty angelic in my opinion. But the real storyline is kind of mysterious. To me the coolest part of the story was trying to figure out who the demon hunters boss was. We don't find out in this book but my interest was certainly piqued and I hope we learn this boss' identity in the second book.

Indy is a tough man hater. She really, really hates guys. She is a self appointed protector of women against men who take advantage of them or mistreat them. I think her quest is noble but it has given her major trust issues. She doesn't seem to trust anyone. Which has made for a very lonely couple of hundred years for her. I felt kind of bad for her but she comes off as so tough and independent that it seems like she can handle anything. I wanted to see a little more of her vulnerable side.

There wasn't really too much romance in this story. There was a bit of hinting at a romance between Nate, the demon hunter, and Indy but it felt kind of forced to me. I wasn't really sure if there were actual feelings there on either end. Personally, I would like to see something between Indy and Conner or Indy and Mark. (two of her guy friends) I thought that they were really there for her. I know conner is crazy about her but I kind of like the idea of her with Mark more. I think that would be really interesting.

Heavenly Hell ends with a cliffhanger, but the second book is already out so you can read them back to back if you are not a fan of cliffhangers. I am interested in seeing where this series goes. The first book was a good solid read. Some parts were a little sparse on development but it was a good enough foundation that I want to read the next one. And indy is a great, kick butt character, which I really enjoy.

Indy is no ordinary seventeen year old. Firstly she isn't really seventeen at all – or strictly human. She is hundreds of years old, has survived the Middle Ages, Henry VIII’s court and is a butt-kicking advocate for women everywhere. So why is it that she might not make it out of High school alive? Who is the new boy Nate and why does he seem to hate her so much? Why does she seem to be losing control of her divinity? Fallen Angel or not… Indy has a fight on her hands to prove she is on the right path and that her actions are justified.

Love it or hate it?

I really liked this book. Indy is a headstrong character with just the right amount of cheekiness to make her totally endearing. Even when she is sticking the boot in someone’s face you can’t help rooting for her!
The split narrative perspective between her and Nate works well and really contrasts his naivety with her firm grasp of the world around her. Although how he doesn't realise the situation sooner is a little bit of a mystery. Aggressive and tetchy Indy may be, but evil? – No way!
Aria Williams weaves relationships, friendships, investigations, beatings, cross novel interactions, back stories, and side-plots with grace – the result is a well told tale that absolutely has you ready for the next installment. My only bug bear with this whole book is that it was too abrupt an end. Just as your heart is in your throat -it is done. As a reader who needs the satisfaction of the “falling action” I could have done with at least another chapter to lead me out.

So...I'm kinda dumb at times and don't pay attention to the details such as THIS IS BOOK ONE OF A SERIES. So, when I 'm rocking along enjoying my read and come to a cliffhanger ending, I shrieked. I admit it. I moaned. I put my head down on my knees and muttered to myself. I mean...I knew this book was going to be good within the first few pages. How? Easy.

"Now, if I ever hear of you treating a girl like this again, I’ll find you and hurt you so bad, tonight will seem like a walk in the park. Men like you in positions of authority should keep their little peckers in their pants."

Just like that. See? Now you want to read it, too, don't you? *smirks at you* Yeah, Indy is 1)awesomely named character (yes her name is Indiana as a human) and 2)total kick ass girl. The narration switches point of view between Indy and Nate and it is interesting to watch the same events unfold from different perspectives. The story unfolds bit by bit, but I'm afraid that there just wasn't enough information to satisfy me. Once I reached the end and realized this was BOOK ONE, then I understood that it's a groundwork laying book, introducing the characters for future books. This was a very well told story with faceted characters that make you want to scratch and poke at them to find out more of what made them the way they are. There is already a love triangle brewing between Nate - Indy - Connor. There's a story about Indy's "brother", a fellow fallen angel searching for his love and I'd love to read that, too. This book was well-paced and very enjoyable to read. I cannot wait to read more in the series!

Favourite Line “I didn’t see there to be a choice at all. My only option was to fight against this person and defend the angel race.”

Indy is a fallen angel who is stuck in a 17yr old body. She has made it her life's work to protect abused women... In doing so she has had to "rough" a couple of them up which has caught the attention of Demon Hunters yep Demon Hunters! They believe she is a demon or maybe they don't I haven't figured that part out tho.
Nate is a Demon Hunter with supernatural strength, speed, and healing... He is assigned with killing Indy only thing is he kinda likes her! Oh what fun!
Great start to this series. I have some delicious questions for this series and I look forward to them being answered in the upcoming books.
All I'm all a great book... Not boring, great characters, good story, and left me wanting more!!

A good read, well written and a good story line I personally found some parts of the book slower than others and I thought more could have been done with the ending to set up for the next part of the series.

The main characters were good and well thought out, however some characters mentioned in the book seemed to be glossed over, I'm hoping this could be because of seeing them in the future of the series.

Overall it is definitely a series I would be interested in continuing to read in future installments.

I loved this book! Ass kicking heroine who is also compassionate and fun! All the characters were relatable and flowed well with the story. The men were all lovable! I loved how this heroine didn't just take on any case but chose the ones that needed her the most. She didn't go in there "guns-a-blazing" but instead tried to reform them while also incorporating law enforcement. This story also brings to life the real life struggles of women in abusive relationships without going so far into it that this turned into a dark read. Can not wait til the next one!

I am giving this book two stars based only on the idea for the story, the actual execution of the idea was not good. First of all, I can’t name a single character in this book that was like able. Indiana being the most annoying, I was tired of hearing about people being hot after the first chapter and her shallowness doesn’t get any better. I guess for me the draw for these types of books is you get kind of the best of both worlds, a young looking person who has the maturity and intelligence of someone much older. Not the case here, Indiana decided to act like she is seventeen for hundreds of years. Also, after reading this I still don’t have a good idea of where Nate really fits into this story and I’m not really interested in continuing the torture to continue the series, even though I got the first two books in this series for free. This definitely needs a good editor as well.

Heavenly Hell is the start to a new YA series that takes readers into the paranormal world of fallen angels who live among humans. This story centers around Indiana, a strong, feisty, sharp tongued angel banished from Heaven and forced to live on Earth in the body of a teenage girl. Indiana fell from God’s Grace when she fell in love with a man who turned out to be a demon in disguise.

[image error] photo blondeangel_zpsa9d27033.jpg

Seventeen-year-old Indiana spends her time attending high school, year after year…now that is a nightmarish punishment for anyone to endure.

[image error][image error]

She is also an investigator on the side, taking cases that involve men accused of mistreating women.

Indiana has decided that her purpose on Earth is to protect and defend women. After she gathers evidence that prove a man in question is guilty of immoral or illegal acts toward a woman, she has no qualms about delving out her own means of punishment, even using violence to send a warning. Needless, to say her methods are unorthodox and certainly not angelic. Indiana’s methods for meting out justice become a focus for debate over the course of the book and also make her a target for someone out to destroy angels.

I applaud Williams for creating a strong, confident female heroine who is determined to resolve the injustices she sees around her. At first, I was concerned that Indiana was going to be depicted as a flat, two-dimensional character, just a “tough chick” with little room for emotional growth.

[image error] photo cartoonwoman_zps711bcac6.jpg

However, I was pleased to see more depth to her character as the level of conflict rose and the plot unfolded.

In this story, Indiana’s formidable, yet questionable antagonist is Nate, a supernatural demon slayer who arrives in town with the intent to kill Indiana for her terrorization of seemingly innocent men. Nate’s mistaken identity of Indiana raises all kinds of questions and adds to the plot’s mystery and suspense. Although Nate’s POV provides sporadic clues about who is behind this deceptive mission, the mystery still isn’t solved by the end of the book. In addition, I am still uncertain about Nate’s emergence into a supernatural being. I just know that there are others out there like him who are endowed with the unique ability to kill immortal angels and demons.

[image error][image error]

The growing antagonism and tension between Nate and Indiana keeps the story engaging. Nate wants to destroy Indiana, and, even though he is repulsed by the demon he thinks she is, he also has to fight his increasing attraction to her. Fortunately, Nate is a more than a single-minded robotic-like killer; as he gets to know Indiana better, he begins to question the information he was given about her identity.

The story intensifies as Nate searches for the truth about Indiana and tries to deal with his conflicting feelings for her. Meanwhile, something is changing in Indiana. Her invisible wings with a light pink aura are beginning to blacken. Her growing anger signals a loss of control that she’s never experienced before. Furthermore, now that Nate has awakened Indiana’s heart, she is willing to consider having a relationship, but the question is whether she will turn to Nate, who has been her foe throughout much of the story or her loyal mortal friend Conner. This is a clean romance that goes no further than kissing and hand-holding. Although there is a clear attraction between Nate and Indiana, I wish the chemistry between the two, that magical spark that ignites a romance would have been amplified throughout the story.

I found the cliffhanger ending a bit abrupt but compelling enough to leave me wanting to read the next book in this series. I was also left with lots of questions about unresolved story threads introduced throughout the book that I hope will be addressed in future books.

[image error] photo tumblr_m37e6ejoit1rnhnb2Dying_zpsa17fdecb.gif

Although I enjoyed the characters and conflicts presented in this paranormal suspense, at times the pacing of the story drags along with too much detail about activities that don’t advance the plot.

Overall, I see a promising start to this new series and will keep a lookout for the second book in the series.

I received this book for free from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I haven’t really read YA books featuring angels and since Indiana (aka Indy) is a fallen angel, I guess this kind of qualifies. I’m sorry to say my first angel-related YA book experience was not a very good one. The beginning was good as it jumped right into Indy kicking a sleazeball’s ass and I liked that she was so headstrong and protective of her friend. I found the action and fantasy elements of the plot interesting but the characters did not work for me, I found the writing style to be choppy in some parts but an information overload in other parts, and the ending was too abrupt and left me unsatisfied.

Our heroine, Indy, gets good points for being so kickass and determined. She’s a real go-getter and with her abilities as a fallen angel, it isn’t hard for her to give someone a serious fight. However, what I didn’t like is that I was constantly being reminded about how beautiful she is as she keeps saying that her beauty is a curse because of all the attention she gets from men. It goes on with boys commenting on how sexy she is, how she practically oozes sex appeal without trying too hard, and even Nate (that handsome mysterious boy) is taken aback by how beautiful and perfect she looks. There’s a lot of emotions and hormones running high in this book and I didn’t like insta-love angle, even if the book tried to justify it with a reason. There’s also a love triangle thrown in there that felt predictable and there were situations thrown in there that I felt were just to raise the romance heat of this book. As for the other characters, I don’t feel like there was much focus on the supporting characters. The only ones that seemed to get much development are the components of the love triangle and one other character. I didn’t learn much about the “antagonist” of the novel other than he was a pervert and a sleaze. Indy’s other friends don’t fare any better since I felt like they disappeared about halfway through and I feel like the supporting characters could have been fleshed out better.

The writing style also did not work for me because some scenes felt choppy and others felt like information overload. The switching POV meant that I got to see into both Indy’s and Nate’s minds and the narration didn’t feel consistent. Some parts were breezed over and other parts got full-on detailed explanations in one go, like how Nate learned to fight. I felt that doling out information in little and more manageable chunks would have kept these parts from feeling like an info dump. The pacing felt awkward because it is hard to balance out romance and action. I think since I disliked the romance going on, it felt like a drag to get through to the moments that actually push the plot forward. Speaking of the plot, I feel like a lot of the conflict between Indy and Nate could have been avoided if they had actually talked and explained rather than assumed things. The ending left me staring at my screen and wondering if this was really the end because it was just too abrupt for me.

Overall: This gets two stars from me because the characters, writing style, and especially the ending left much to be desired for me. The fantasy and action were interesting but the romance focus with cliched or eyeroll-worthy scenes took over and the balance was gone.

I thought Heavenly Hell was an enjoyable read. I love books about fallen angels, so when I read the synopsis, I was like I want this. The beginning was a fantastic start. I mean, who doesn't love a kickass heroine beating the shit out of some guy? I kid you not, that is how the story begins. (He totally deserved it, by the way).

Indiana is a fierce character. That's the best word to describe her personality: fierce. Ever since her fall from Heaven, she's been using her skills for one thing only: punishing weak men. The men who abuse and have zero respect for women. Her and her friend, A.J. (the angel, Israfel) have a private investigating business, and Indiana likes to take on the more aggressive cases, the men who treat women like bugs under their shoes. Her past haunts her, and since her fall, she's been determined to save the people who can't stand up for themselves and punish the evil. It's an act that warrants suspicion and makes her think twice about how she's handling everything.

But for the first time in her life, Indiana has friends. She's let herself open up while playing the normal 17 year old girl at school. I really liked all of the characters. Vanessa and Connor are her best friends, yet they are all part of a group of friends who just enjoy being around each other. They like to party but also hang out, watching movies and eating junk food. It's like a normal high school story-line. She just kicks men's butts in her spare time and is really a fallen angel. No big deal. At first it didn't seem believable to me that Indiana could scare the ever-living daylights out of these buff, muscled bad-tempered physical abusers (holy adjectives). But then I found out that she's Amaliel, the Angel of Weakness, and it made so much more sense!

There were a few details about the story that had me confused, especially with Nate. I still don't understand what he is or why he was going after Indiana. His background story wasn't very detailed, so I had a hard time connecting with him even though part of the book was in his POV. There wasn't much background to Indiana's story either, and I'm hoping to learn more about her in Heavenly Hunted. :)

This story didn't center on romance; in fact, there was literally no romance. I think, had it had some type of love story, it might have made me like it a little better. Don't get me wrong, it was a good story. But there was very little in the way of plot; most of it is Indiana and her friends hanging out, Nate stalking her, and her finding out what he is and that he's been sent to kill her. It was back and forth with the two of them taunting, teasing, and trying to one-up the other. The synopsis is a little misleading, as Indiana wasn't in a fight for her life, because Nate never actually tried to kill her. When he finds out she's really an angel and not a demon, he backs off. But his boss doesn't care, and he wants her dead. In the second book, I think we'll be seeing Nate and Indiana helping each other.

With fallen angels, likable supporting characters, and a hunter dead-set on taking down demons, Heavenly Hell gives its readers a nice glimpse into the world of the fallen and the ones who want to destroy them. :)

I was really looking forward to reading Heavenly Hell because the description sounded cool and it was getting great reviews. Now I wonder if I read the same book as all these people giving it a 5 star rating. Overall, it was just okay. I think it had the idea of a good story, but did not deliver.

Let’s start with the positives: Indy is awesome! She is a kick-ass fallen angel who punishes bad men (i.e. rapists, men who abuse their wives, etc). By punishes, I mean she literally kicks the *bleep* out of them. Yes! Indy’s friends are pretty cool and they are all protective of each other in their little clique. I liked Connor and hope he gets out of friend zone someday. I also thought Nate’s character was an interesting idea. A demon hunter, what’s not to like? I did like that he was able to think for himself and not just do his job like an obedient servant. I definitely see more to this story line in the future books. I liked the alternating POV and getting to see things from Nate’s perspective.

Ok, moving on to the um, not so positives. I’m just going to assume that the errors I noticed were fixed when the final draft was published. I’m going to assume that even though this book tour is after publication date, we were provided with an earlier version for review. And even though the non-American spelling of the word “tyre” bothered me, I’m going to move on since that is a legitimate way of spelling it. That isn’t where I had issues with the book. The issues came up with the way it was written. To me, this book read more like a rough draft, kind of like an outline of some stuff that happens with plans to come back and add details, emotions, and character development. I found most of that missing. The dialogue was juvenile, and the characters were kind of flat. We do get more back story for the main characters Indy and Nate with the help of their alternating POV, but the secondary characters needed more. I also thought there was too much detail about the classes they were taking in the early parts of the book, especially since the later parts of the book seemed to skip forward. I expected Indy to have some maturity since she’s been around for all those years, but I found her very annoying, especially when speaking with other angels.

I want more! OK so I heard about heavenly hell through fellow bloggers and authors and I really wanted to get my hands on it! I am a big fan of paranormal novels especially those about angels so I was excited to read this! The beginning was a bit slow for me but it quickly picked up pace as more characters and relationships were introduced. I could easily relate to Indiana (Indy) with the exception of her being an angel lol. I could easily feel what she and the others were feeling in each situation. I loved each character and how they each had a special relationship with Indy and each other! I absolutely loved the hate/hate relationship between Indy and Nate and how it eventually involves into feelings that they are both not sure of yet. I appreciated that this was not "rushed" and even at the end they know they feel a certain way with one another but at the same time they aren't declaring that they are "in love". This was a great read. I enjoyed it very much and can't wait to read Heavenly Hunted!

The characters

Indiana is one of the most beautiful girls to have ever walked on earth and that's because she's a angel.A fallen one.A demon tricked her into falling in love with him and her punishment was to fall from Heaven and spend an eternity on Earth. She's also Amaliel, the Angel of Weakness and apart from being a seventeen-year-old teenager attending high school, she protects women who can't protect themselves from men who never respected and appreciated them. She's a badass and she knows it.She enjoys causing pain to these men just like that demon did the exact same thing to her. She's sworn of boys,of course. But she can always appreciate the view of a good-looking guy, especially the new guy in town.Little did she know that Nate is actually there on purpose. To kill her.

Nate was raised in the foster care system. He was always a good boy.He listened to his 'parents' and helped the other kids with their homework. He was actually a miracle kid but the one thing he couldn't handle was his strength,a fact that resulted in people getting hurt. Now he works for somebody who informs him of a possible threat and gives him only one order. To terminate it.

He thought that killing Indy would be a simple case like all the others. He's sure, just like his boss told him, that she's a demon but when he starts investigating on his own and finding out the truth then his loyalty and trust will be tested.

Well, you can't have a book without a love interest. In the beginning, between Indy and Nate there is only hatred but for the first time in such a long time Indy starts having feelings for someone. But she knows she can never be with him.But what about Connor, her best friend and the first person she tells her secret about her origin?

Verdict

Heavenly Hell is a delightful, easy to read and with a promising love triangle book in a new and fresh series.I look forward to finding out what happens next.

Rating: 4 stars!!

'Heavenly Hell' is a thrilling and captivating first novel in a young adult fantasy series. The book follows main character Indiana, who just happens to be a fallen angel who is forever trapped inside the body of a seventeen year old girl. She spends her days acting like any other teenage girl, but at night she punishes men for doing wrong against women. Her life in the small town she recently moved to has been pretty normal given her circumstances - until a mysterious and gorgeous new guy comes to town. Indiana knows that something about this guy is different, like her. Is he a friend or the enemy?

I found this book to be really fun and exciting with a great story line. It's not the most original concept out there, but the plot, characters, and history behind Indiana gave the book a uniqueness that makes it stands out from others similar to it. The characters were all well done, especially that of Indiana. I loved her character from the start. She's wise, beautiful, kind, and a seemingly well adjusted teenage girl. Then she goes out and punishes men who hurt women. Awesome. On top of all that, she's a fallen angel - and I absolutely loved learning as much as I could about her character and her history as I could. I think it added a great depth to the book and the character of Indiana. The story line was intriguing, if somewhat predictable at times. Of course there's going to be a mysterious new guy showing up in town and he is, as always, gorgeous. I liked the mystery of finding out who he really was and what he wanted in the town and with Indiana - it gave the book a little mystery to go along with the other aspects. The writing was solid with a great pace and a natural flow that had me reading the book really quickly. I'm definitely intrigued on what will happen in the next book and look forward to learning even more about the Fallen and Indiana. Definitely recommended for fans of YA fantasy and paranormal fiction.

Disclosure: I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

My Review:

We all have our favorite genre that we root for, but when you mention a story about angels ... I'm HOOKED! It could be YA, NA, Adult, whenever I can get my hands on a story with these beautiful creatures, it makes my day! Heavenly Hell was a fast/fun read. I had a blast following Indiana and her friends. While I was reading it, I felt like I was watching an after school show. The writing style was easy to follow and I had enough details to imagine what it would be like to be a part of their world. This story did have a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what the author has up her sleeves for the second installment in the series, Heavenly Hunted. Did you see that cover?? Hellooooo Hot Angel! The covers for this serie are BEAUTIFUL!

Indiana was an awesome character! She's fun, friendly and she's a pretty strong heroine. She's a fallen angel who takes care of the troublemakers. She did not get on my nerves, which is a good thing. I hate it when I can't connect with the MC. I really have to like them to enjoy the story. I loved the way she made Nate go nuts ... LOL!!! She gets extra points from me because ... She's Team Damon! Wooohooo!!! I'm Team Damon too ;)

Nate is still a mystery to me. He's a Demon Hunter, who is sent to kill Indy and ends up falling for her instead. I'm really happy that we get to follow him and Indiana again in book 2. I really hope I can get a better idea of who he is. Even if he's still a mystery to me, I still loved his character.

Indiana and Nate have a good chemistry. I loved their love/hate relationship. The romance is slow building, but I love the way they get on each other's nerves! LOL!! I can't wait to read more about them and really hope that their romance will develop more in Heavenly Hunter.

My Rating:

I give Heavenly Hell by Aria Williams 4 fun and fantastic stars! I absolutely love books about angels. Aria Williams wrote a great story that kept me turning the pages and that left me wanting for more of Indy and the gang! :)

I really enjoyed this book Heavenly Hell by Aria Williams. I found myself engaged throughout the whole novel and really enjoying the story. I loved the paranormal aspect to the story and I thought the storyline was very unique. I could relate to the main characters finishing up high school and just wanting to move on in life. I stepped a bit outside my normal reading genres by reading YA, but sometimes change is good! :)

I imagined the main male lead character Nate to look like Avicii since I was listening to his song Wake Me Up heaps while reading the book. Nate is 21 but needs to pretend he is 18 years old.

This book is easy to read and enjoyable. It centres on fallen angel Indiana who is stuck in a 17 year old body. There is nothing particularly memorable about the book but I enjoyed the hours I spend reading about Indiana, Nate & their other friends. I will read the rest of the series once it become available.

I normally wouldn't read Young Adult books but I really enjoyed the paranormal aspect to this book and it didn't disappoint. I am rating this book 4 stars because I thought it was very entertaining. I would recommend this book for people who are looking for a sweet paranormal romance that is part of a series. I am not sure how many more books there are in this series but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough!

I was gifted this book by the author so as usual I am giving a copy away as well at Bec's Book Blog.

You'd think being stuck as a seventeen year old would be a gift, but for Indiana, its a curse.

Indiana (Indy) enjoyed being an angel. But when she was tricked into falling in love with a demon, she was forced to fall, stuck in her teenage form forever. Unable to cope with her banishment, by day Indy seems normal, but by night, she punishes men for wrong doing women. Finally settling down into a small town, and making friends, a handsome boy comes to town and Indy knows something's off. Will she have an ally or will she have to fight for her life?

We follow Indy on her journey to kicking ass on the behalf of women. And then Nate shows up. We get his POV as well, just not as often as Indy. I really liked Indy. She has a bad attitude, throw in some sarcasm and some ass kicking, what's not to love?

Nate was a good character. I really enjoyed watching Nate and Indy banter back and forth. It was just really amusing to me.

I really liked Connor, I do feel kind of bad for him because its obvious he has a thing for Indy but Indy doesn't seem interested. I can't really say because I kinda felt a love triangle going on, and I'm really hoping that it isn't. I just hope Connor gets his happy ending.

Vanessa. She's really sweet and shy and ijust wished there was more of her in this book, especially since Indy introduces Vanessa as her best friend. But I just felt like she should've been in this more for a title as such. Maybe it's just me being picky, but I just really had to throw that out there.

All in all, this was a decent book. I really hope the rest of this series will catch my attention more. You guys enjoy. :)

After being tricked into falling in love with a demon, Indiana was banished to Earth and was forced to live in a body of a beautiful 17-year old girl for the rest of the eternity. Being beautiful was a blessing but also a curse because it caught attention of men with bad intentions.

After losing her first real friend on Earth, Indy decides to protect women from men that do not treat them right. But when she meets Nate, she knows something is off. He is after her and he is determined to make sure that she does not walk this Earth any longer. Even if she is starting to have feelings for him and knows that the world that they live in might change in the worse way possible.

OMG. I would have to say that this was by far the best “angel-demon” book that I have read so far. With amazing, detailed writing and well developed characters, this story really came to live. I had so many emotions about this book and my heart was literally pounding out of my chest when Nate started going after Indy! And she was so freaking badass! I love MC that can take care of themselves and kick some serious ass.

But it’s a cliffhanger. Totally forgot that it was only Book One and it came unexpectedly. So I will hurry up and get the second book because I’m obsessed with this series now :D

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down and was able to read it in less than a day. This book had a bit of everything in it romance, action, suspense, and even some humor.

Indy, short for Indiana, is a fallen angel trapped in the body of a 17 year old girl. This is her punishment for allowing a demon to trick her into falling in love with him. She lives and goes to school in a small town. During the day she goes to class and hangs out with her friends, some of who she is very close to, and then in the evenings she goes out and punishes men that hurt women. Everything is going fine until a handsome new boy named Nate shows up in town.

Nate is a demon slayer who has come to town to kill Indy. He believes she's a demon because that's what his boss told him. Only problem is that he's unsure of what is true and he's confused about how she makes him feel. Leaving him no choice but to discover what she really is before he has to kill her.

This story drew me in from the beginning. Aria brought all the characters to life for me. They were so realistic and believable. The chemistry that she hinted at and began to show between Indy and Nate is awesome. I love the way they interact. I hope that in the second book she builds on that some more.

Thank you Aria Williams for the great read. I truly enjoyed every minute of it. I can't wait for the second book to come out in the series. Keep up the awesome job.
