I have had this book for about 2 years and have made some things for me and gifts for friends. My friends love what I made for them. I found reconstructions good. One project, the London Bag, she put in a link for one part of the instructions. I found this most helpful.
I was prepared to be disappointed because so many of the crochet ebooks have scrappy pictures or no pictures of the projects and no pictures of tricky maneuvers. I was pleasantly surprised with this book. It has at least one project I'm dying to try (prim's hat) and another I might try (lip balm holder keychain). I'm going to check out her other books.
Amazing patterns. They're very easy to read and understand. she is very thorough and includes pictures and a background story with each pattern. I would definitely recommend this book to others. I will be making many things from this book. Thank you for such an amazing book.
Crochet Dynamite: Gifts For Your Besties by Jaime Eads Maraia Love exploring new things to make for the charities I knit and crochet for. For the new crocheter there are many links to click on to get to the resources online for help. Easy bags to make and they even show you with pictures how to sew the seams together and put zippers in, etc. Pictures for all the items but they are not very bright. Also hats in various sizes.
Thanks for another great pattern book. I really appreciate how detailed Jamie's patterns are. They leave no room for confusion and feel like she's right there to talk you through.
Pictures of the projects are nice, but also pictures for some steps included. Easy patterns that are not just easy but stylish. The patterns are worth more than the download cost.
