I'm the kind of reader who loves steaminess in the books she reads, but I don't want those scenes to overwhelm the story nor do I want the scenes to be there just for the sake of steaminess. I want a reason behind the acts or else it makes the characters participating look sleazy. Unfortunately, that's the case here. Lindsey's been dying to meet her favorite musicians Kellen and Owen and one snowy night gets to indulge her fantasies with them at a deserted rest stop in their tour bus. With barely a hello being said, and no real understanding of the kind of person she is or her backstory, she immediately allows herself to be tied up by the two of them and used as their plaything. Kellen's not the kind of guy to go all the way but Owen more than makes up for it in a long scene that's sweat-inducing. While Lindsey's having her fun, her friend Vanessa is busy with the rest of the band continuing the holiday festivities. At some point the girls party together with Owen and before long the bus driver and some other guy get to sample their treats too.
Things quickly devolve into one big orgy that both girls enjoy and would be happy to experience again in the future. No one worried about consequences and the girls never felt demeaned by any of the night's activities. I was left with quite the opposite feeling though, I found them both irresponsible and deluding themselves as to what they meant to the band. They were entertainment, pure and simple. I appreciated Ms. Cunning's writing style as it flowed nicely and easily draws you into the action. The members of Sole Regret are an intriguing group of men with human foibles and while I enjoyed getting to know them, I was left frustrated by how meaningless this story felt in regards to the women. I quickly forget about them and hoped never to see either again. Unfortunately, like a bad rash, Lindsey returns......

I like Olivia Cunning, I like her characters. I thought this book was just has it's supposed to be. A novella about rock stars and what they do when they're not performing on stage.
It was a fun, fast, easy read, with 2 easy girls looking to fulfill their fantasy of screwing a couple band members. Well, did they, yes, and then some.
People are very critical of the series. They're very inexpensive novella's which I think she has said she was writing full length novels for each character, but I'm not 100% sure on that. The novella's are giving us a glimpse into the band mates and their backgrounds. I like the idea, personally. I feel like I get to know them better before their novel is written, then they're forgotten about....Oh wait, we're talking about Olivia Cunning, who doesn't write one person's hea then forgets about them. She always finds a way to incorporate her characters in every book. LOVE THAT!
People are complaining about having to buy several books to get to the final story. They're what? $.99 or so? Still cheaper than buying a regular ebook. If you want to read a good series with lots of fun sex, and great characters, then read these. They are pretty raunchy, but still have a great story to them...They are on an erotica shelf and I do believe there are taglines telling you what type of sex you're going to read about. So make sure you take the time to read the warnings before you purchase a book and decide you don't like the type of sex inside the story.

I don't think I've come across a Olivia Cunning book I don't love. These Sole Regret guys are growing on me more and more and I love their banter. I think I saw a review once that said this was one big gang bang and boy they weren't joking!!! A short novella so not much of a storyline but it sets the scene for Kellen and Owen's books.

I love Olivia Cunning's books and have read most of them but this short story just did not do it for me.
I thought the two women were such idiots that sluts was too good a name to give them. I was so irritated with them.
Some of the scenes were just a bit silly for me.
Kellen & Owen and perhaps Shade were the only thing that actually got me to read the whole story....

I have to give this 5 Stars. Not because of the story mind you but because the sexcapades that occurred during this short read were AMAZING!! This book was a delightfully sinful Christmas story that had a few LOL moments. Don't look for much more from the story line though because it was almost none stop with the sex.

Okay so I love Olivia Cunning's books, all of them, but this was probably my least favorite. The story was good and of course very hot and steamy, but I did not care for the female characters at all, neither one of them.
Liked the interaction between Owen and Kellen and the lead up to Owen's story Touch Me, and I can't wait to read that, but the rest of the story I just didn't really get into.
So what I really didn't like about the book, and this contains spoilers so stop reading if you don't want to know, was that the girl was supposed to be innocent and kind of naive, but she is trying to do something daring and bold. Now I can understand her having a threesome with two of the band members as being kind of daring, but then she proceeds to have sex with the rest of the band the bus driver and her best friend as well. This goes beyond trying something new and just into skank territory. And the best friend was just annoying the whole time. And then in the morning she acts all innocent again like "did I just do that?" type of innocent. I did like the part where Owen thought "she is kind of nice and I would call her again, but then she did just sleep with all of his band and the bus driver".
To get a little insight into Owen and Kellen before reading Touch Me you definitely need to read this story, but if your looking for the chemistry that usually occurs between the male and female characters this story does not have that. I think the story here was more to set up the connection between Owen and Kellen and the female characters were just thrown in to add the sex factor.

“Share Me” by Olivia Cunning is a quick and very hot read. The story is about two friends that were in a concert and afterwards they found the band and…. Well, let’s just say that there is a lot of actions between all of them!
Although definitely a very hot and sexy read (I enjoyed a lot the erotic scenes) I have to say that I was kind of disappointed with the main female character. Lindsey at the end of the day was just a groupie. She had sex with EVERYBODY (including her best friend) and that’s all! No emotion. Nothing!
On the other hand, I found extremely interesting all the guys from the bond. It’s obvious that all of them have their problems and I can’t wait to read their stories!
So, I will definitely read the next books because I want to know more about these guys! I recommend this book to everyone who wants a quick and hot read!

i didn't realised this book was about two chicks slutting it up . sometimes it feels confusing seeing how the guys act during sex. i'm use to reading sex scenes where there's a strong connection between the couple involved even though they haven't realised there is a connection but it's still there in the air. with this book... there was none - in other words ... it was is a porn book. The main point of this book was not the sex scenes of two groupie getting it on. it was merely giving background information to the series. it gave insight to Kellen, which got me excited to wait for his book to be released in the fall.
Overall, not a great read - deleted the book from my library.

Hmmmm..this book right here!!? So on my quest for a real sexy read I came upon this prequel short story to the One Night with Sole Regret series. I have heard about the sexy series and have it on my to TBR. So thought I'd get a taste of it with this prequel. However, this was a little bit more than I was expecting....
So Lindsey and her bff Vanessa are die hard fans/groupies to the band, Sole Regret. They have just attended their Christmas Eve benefit concert and decide to follow the tour bus afterwards. These two make it no secret how they'd love to screw all the men of the band. So when the bus makes a stop, they definitely get their chance...
Lindsey starts off with a three way with Owen and Kellan, while Vanessa gets started with Shade, the lead singer. The scene with Lindsey was way kinky and kind of weird to me. Believe I am no prude but this crap was just weird. They do some kind of "ritual" with her which involved some rope tying and HOT sex. But what really threw me off was when... so wasn't feeling that part at all...smdh.
They continue their little orgy with the rest of the guys through the night. Another part happen I was not feeling... Yeah so these girls and guys really had themselves a very MERRY MERRY Christmas, indeed.
Overall, if you're looking for a VERY smutty sexy read, this is your book! Definitely hot hot scenes...some a little too much for me. Now I'm not so sure if I will continue reading the series. This was 100% Erotica, zero romance...

Set before the rest of the Sole Regret books (and therefore before any of the guys hooked up with their girls), I was pleased to see that this story focussed on members of the band who haven’t had their own books published yet - Bassist, Owen and Rhythm Guitarist, Kellen (not that Kellan… a different Kellen).
There is some great banter between the boys, which I loved, but the whole book is essentially a kink-fest as two best friends who have lusted after the band for years, get themselves ‘stranded’ with the boy’s tour bus in the middle of a snow storm on Christmas Eve. Can you say HO-HO-HO!
So while Owen and Kellen get down and dirty with Lyndsey in the back of the tour bus with a whole lotta rope, her best friend Vanessa gets up close and personal with Shade. Everybody else becomes involved with everybody else at some point (and I use the terms ‘everybody’ and ‘involved’ in the literal sense) with varying degrees of detail and explicitness.
So yeah, a REALLY smutty read, but I did enjoy getting to meet Owen and Kellen, and look forward to them getting their own books.

I said this before but I'll say it again: HOLY FREAKING SMUT! The first part of the book with the magic threesome was hot as hell. That's a given.
I absolutely love Owen and Kellen and I'm looking forward to Touch Me to read more Owen action.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this read. I was smiling the whole book through. Sure it was a little over the top after getting to 62%, and it became a little too sleazy for my tastes with the orgy stuff.
"Did we really have a sex orgy last nigh?" she whispered, her innocent-looking blue eyes wide in disbelief ........ She really was a doll. He might have considered calling her if she hadn't slept with every last one of his band mates. Oh, and his bus driver."
See what I mean. That's the only thing that bothered me with the book because Lindsey's character was really likable and I wouldn't have minded a little more restrain on her part, because, let's face it, as hot as it was, it still sounds cheap at the end of the day. Or the night mind you. ;)

I said this before but I'll say it again: HOLY FREAKING SMUT! The first part of the book with the magic threesome was hot as hell. That's a given.
I absolutely love Owen and Kellen and I'm looking forward to Touch Me to read more Owen action.

This is the 4th book in the series but it actually takes place before the first book Try Me. It gives you an idea of what the band's life was like before they each started to find true love. I really didn't like this story due to the sudden 'group' turn this took; I wasn't a fan of how everything transitioned and evolved. It was very shallow (which could be the intention since this was their life before). The first encounter with Lindsey, Owen and Kellen was very different and intriguing however once finished and they went to the main cabin of the bus I started to lose interest and it continued to go downhill after that. I will say that there are key points in the book that will help you understand more of who the characters are and where they come from which is going to be key to understanding the upcoming books. If you are reading this series you should read this for that reason and maybe you might enjoy it more than I did.

This series is so darn good that I read through books 2 - 8 so fast that I don't remember what happened in each book individually. The story lines flowed through each characters books effortlessly. Therefore, I am writing one review for all 7 books.
It is not hard to see why One Night with each of these rock stars is all it takes to fall head over in heels in love with them. They are hot, sweet, dark, deep and funny. Their leading ladies all seem to have that underlying strength that drives them to do what is right and they struggle with sacrificing their happiness in order to help their loved ones be happy.
This is a definite must read series if you like strong but flawed female leads and smoking hot alpha males with a sweet core.

ok so i failed to read this book before the first 3 books which really didn't change what you thought of the first 3 books, but you have to read it before the 4 book which is Owens book. if you don't you might get a little lost on whats going on between Owen and Kelly. i love how the OC got all the characters involved in this one for most of the book. great scenes (especially loved the tree decorating and the snowball fight,lol)you will laugh moan and possibly shed a tear in this one...
