I'd summarize the book this way:

If you want to be happy in life, admit your sins, your hurts and your failures to God. When you give them to God, He will free you from the jail these sins have put you in and therefore enable you to love your spouse (and all others) and die to yourself and your own desires.

I enjoyed reading about Chuck and Nancy's marriage and lives. I've always loved hearing Chuck Missler's Bible teachings and I enjoyed reading about his marriage and life.

Rick bought me this book: it was on my amazon wish list and someone gave him an amazon gift card and he asked me if I wanted anything and I told him to choose a book from my wishlist and surprise me.

A short and sweet testimony of God's work in the author's life. She shares how God healed her relationships starting with her. Two of the points that struck me are: 1. Finding God's abundant love is all about denying ourselves and laying our will at His feet. 2. Staying an open and cleansed vessel so that God's love can flow through us. These are accomplished by making moment by moment choices to look to God.

Obviously from a woman's perspective but I really gained a lot out of the book. Man or woman, it does start with me. I can allow God to change me first and their are no pride issues in that decision.
