Zero Degrees Part 2: A Bad Bitch

Rate this book
I watched as the blood oozed from Goody’s head after I’d emptied the gun’s clip. I was supposed to feel something, like remorse maybe, but I didn’t feel shit. He was my mother’s no good, perverted ass boyfriend and I was relieved to see him take his last breath. Good riddance.
I’d caught my first body at the tender age of fourteen and I must admit that I actually enjoyed it. Life had taken me on a dark, destructive path since the gruesome murder of my father when I was nine. All of those bottled up emotions that I never dealt with came full circle and my actions sent me to juvenile detention for second degree murder.
During my time in juvie I met my best friends Teena and Peaches. The three of us formed a very unlikely friendship, but we found a common bond. Calling ourselves “three the hard way”, we pulled off the wildest riot in the history of the institution. We planned to wreck the same havoc when we hit the streets.
My nigga Buff, a streetwise hustler, held me down when I was in juvie just like he did when I was at the crib. He and his sexy ass brother Zeus had made a major come up in the dope game and my niggas promised to look out for me when I got out.
After my release at the age of eighteen it was on! My life’s mission was to find the men who murdered my father and personally annihilate them. At a time when most girls were thinking about graduation and prom, I was planning the massacre of some of the most dangerous men in the criminal underworld. In my eighteen short years life had thrown some fucked up obstacles in my way, but I would soon realize that I hadn’t seen shit yet.
In this painfully treacherous urban tale of drugs, sex money and murder you will experience the circumstances that turned a sweet little girl by the name of Zeaira Rowe into the cold blooded killer Zero Degrees

It continues

It continues. The storyline pulls you in and reality just seems to disappear. It feels like you are a part art of the script to a movie. I love to read books that can take me away from reality, if only for a little while. Zero is one bad chick. I see why she is called Miss Murderers. To take a life at such a young age. I don't think that I could have done that. A hit woman. Wow! I can't wait to see what's going to happen in part 3. It should be a very interesting read.

This book picked up from where book on left off. This book keep me interested from beginning to end. With a heart of stone Zero finds herself wanting to be in on the action. Killing is like a sport for her. Its an adrenaline rush for her. She finds herself wanting and needing to defend and protect the ones she loves, both past and present. Some where in there she has to decide who are friends and who are enemies. I felt that she wants to love but with age, she is not ready for all that love is and has to offer. Her choices and decisions will lead to consequences.

Overall this was a great read. It definitely keep the pace throughout the whole book unlike it book 1. I can't wait to find out what happens in book 3. I wonder how her decisions will pan out and will she truly be able to fully find happiness and love somewhere in all the madness.

Great book

Great book

I really enjoyed this book, I had to get part to after reading the first book in the Gangsters collection. Zero had to over come a lot in this book. To have to take someone life at a young age is something I can not even think about. So did what she had to do to protect herself. Then her best friend really should his loyalty to her. Be then money is the root to all evil and will come between a friendship . They have created a monster. Must read part three. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy books by Leo Sullivan.

DANG....

See what lying do?? Just causes a chain reaction of so many unnecessary things. I really hate the fact that Zeaira has to leave Zeus the way she does but I feel like she will find her way back to him...just hoping it won't be too late!! About to start book #3!!
