When Michael Taylor's daughter is kidnapped, the choice to deal with the kidnappers himself takes it's toll as these criminals have no rules. Will his little girl be saved? Can Michael keep his own secret from the police?
Sometimes you find the most marvelous things in very small packages. Guile is a gem that shines from the first page to the end. Uncle Bob may be the most sinister villain in the history of the written word. His sociopathic behavior, and total disregard for life is exhibited in a funny but sad way in this near Shakespearean tale.
Blood curdling and epically told, this story is a page turner that continues its taut and tense nature until the big reveal at the end.
John Eyes is a fresh new voice in the short story genre. This book would be cheap at three timers the price.
A word of warning. I will never sit on a couch that doesn't back into a wall ever again. Hitchcockian in its terror, the shower scene in Psycho is the high water mark for nightmares. This just made Hitchcock blink!!
I can't wait until the next stories come to Amazon!
