Bliss and bluster, or, How to crack a nut

Rate this book
An idiosyncratically Buddhist allegorical tale, this is the story of one rather ordinary advertising executive's struggle (in ways sometimes magical, sometimes mundane) to exorcise the demons of his childhood.

This is a fun graphic novel, strange and a little disturbing and best of all memorable, a bit like a lucid dream or psychedelic trip. Certainly not for everyone (looks like some people on here actually hate it), but I’ve read it many times over the past four decades and love it.
