Grim's Hell is the third book in Saints Purgatory MC series co-written by Andi Rhodes and Lacy Rose. These two talented writers deliver suspense, pulse-pounding action of the storyline about two wounded souls who found each other at the right time, MC romance and unputdownable story. Grim's Hell is intriguing, engaging, gripping, intense and emotion-charged narrative that will consume reader from the very first page.
Soul, Malice and Grim are a tight-knit group and the core of the club. These three learned at the young age that they can only count on themselves having each other's back which made their friendship / bond stronger and unbreakable.
Grim is the enforcer for the Saints and very good at his job by bringing justice to the victims who have been let down by the law. His brothers know how to behave around him and his disability. He is thriving within the club, though he feels unsettled. In my opinion Grim is the darkest of the three heroes so far yet his light slowly emerges and shines through his darkness. Violet is the daughter of a televised preacher. She is very sweet, shy, innocent and engaged to be married to the person her parents chose as they raised her to be a good little wife. As the D day approaches, Violet becomes more conscious that she can't get married. That's why she reaches out for help. Grim and Violet are simply magnificent. I loved their story. As a linguist I loved the fact and unique aspect of MC members speaking in ASL, especially Violet. Grim is her protector and very patient with her. They both took each other by surprise. Their love might be born out of tragedy and danger but it’s a unique love story. These two made me smile, laugh, swoon, cry and experience a lot of feelings along the way.
Another winner in this series. This book offers everything an MC reader would love: MC romance (1%), unpredictable twists and turns, darker reads, possessive, broody, jaded deaf hero and a kick ass strong woman who isn't aware of her strength, marriage of convenience, forced proximity(opposites attract, perfectly imperfect characters with a character driven storyline.
