The intriguing battle between the two main wolf packs continues in this riveting new Caedmon Wolves story. I was totally caught up in the story from beginning to end and found the story enjoyable and entertaining with captivating characters. The author has created a fantastic and thrilling world of shifters with her own rules and elements. While the story could be read on its own, I recommend that the series be read in order to really get the full impact of the history and the battle between the packs and the characters. If you have been following the series then be prepared for tears come to your eyes during a couple of scenes in this story.

I'm enjoying the direction the series is taking. Of course, the drama is far from over. However, I really appreciate that Devin and Tristan were able to get past themselves so they could see to the longevity of their packs. The twist at the end was certainly most expected. That'll be sure to unite the packs forever :).

This is Blake's story, a wolf shifter on the Caedmon council. Blake knows his mate and loves her name is Naomi. Naomi is part of a rival pack. Tensions are high, and things for the mates don't look good, so they can be together. . We get an inside look at the Arnou pack. They are run differently than the Caedmon pack. Then the readers get a dose of reality when the seer is threatened a lot of history is revealed. Naomi decided to leave after getting whipped, propositioned, and lockdown. She and Blake work together, and it doesn't stop there. Lots of action happens in this book.

This book was steamy!!! But a great story of rivals working together for the greater good. This is a short story of fewer than 200 pages on kindle, but it is definitely a catalyst for peace.

Not my favorite in this series

I felt there were inconsistencies, like talking about mating ceremonies being so important but yet the alpha didn't have one? Nor did the other couples in the series. Also the editing could've been better, wrong spellings being used, pronouns referring to wrong person. The story itself was good.

Fifth in the Caedmon Wolves series, it was epic, but somehow a little flat and at times left me a little confused. These wolves though are simply amazing. Lots of action, mystery, magic and hunky men and romantic sexy scenes.

I must say that, I haven’t read the others in the series, so I missed some of the background of the characters. But I was still able to have a good idea about what was happening in the story.

Blake DeLuca of the Caedmon Pack and Naomi Valentine of the Arnou Pack are fated mates belonging to rival packs. They have been secretly seeing each other for years putting off their eternal bond.

Blake had begged from Naomi to run away with him, and almost did it. At the last moment she stoped and returned to her pack compound. She couldn't live because it would hurt the chances of her brother to raise in hierarchy of her pack, the Arnou, and her father as elite 1.

Beside the two dominant packs, who control north America, there the others. The others has all treats of shifters beside the ability to shift, and part of them really want to get read from their animal side. Other fought dirty. With guns and knives. Not with fangs and claws like their wolf cousins. and their eyes sparked silver.

Someone is out to destroy both clans by stripping their wolf spirits and the tension between the Caedmons, the Arnous and the Others grows threatening a civil war. Naomi needs to make a choice to be with her true love or the duty to her pack.

The tension where in it climax when a surprising thing occur: An invitation for a diner from the alpha of the Arnou arrived to the alpha of the Caedmon. Do the two pack will move on and join forces in the investigation of danger? Would they get over the enmity between them?

The Characters:

Both Blake and Naomi are strong characters; Blake being one of six members on the Caedmon Council and Naomi being one of Arnous Elite. They are both loyal and have duties to protect their factions. They agree not to talk pack politics when they are with each other, cherishing their stolen time together. They are perfect for each other but have a lot of obstacles in their way.

While Devin, the alpha of the Caedmon is definitely an easy to like character, Tristan is the alpha of the Arnou became my favorite. He might seem like a bad wolf and not the best of leaders, but he will surprise you more then once.

This could've been two separate books possibly three. Blake and Naomi had a good story but it was overshadowed by what was going on with Tristan and Devin. Just looking into Blake and Naomi their relationship was good but the story didn't give you a chance to really connect with them. It also made it seem as though Naomi was this strong powerful Elite but in the instances that she was in a situation she seemed out of her league. Even fighting the other woman it seemed like she was having a hard time. The relationship with her brother and father was not really explained nor did the outcome of her decision get explained once the packs came together.

As far as Tristan and Devin, this could've been another story on its own. A lot was told in this short story but it still didn't cover what was really going on with them. We finally find out about Roman but its so rushed you don't see the full vision behind it. We also hear what happened with Tristan's father but again it's so quick you can't see just what the choices and consequences of that situation had on Tristan becoming leader. Then you have Elisa who's also rushed over and you really don't understand her significance in the story until the end. Plus I thought that she was Tristan's cousin but I guess we are dealing with "wolves" here.

All in all we don't get the full story of all that's going on just a small amount here and there. The witch had her own story; if she was related to Jamison and was so powerful why did she fall so easily? The entire story seemed rushed and thrown together. Maybe the author was trying to keep it short but if so she should've just told Blake and Naomi's story.

I keep saying these stories are too short but I've also said some authors can only hold your attention for a short amount of time. I'd really like to see what this author could do with a story that's more than two hundred pages plus.

The sizzle of tension runs like wildfire throughout Wolf’s Strength by Ambrielle Kirk. From the high octane romance to the raging conflict between two wolf packs and the Others. Blake DeLuca of the Caedmon Pack and Naomi Valentine of the Arnou Pack are fated mates belonging to rival packs. Both hold positions of power and influence, both are loyal to their packs and their duties, but how can they NOT be loyal to their hearts? How does one choose between one’s destined lover and one’s pack? They have been meeting secretly for years, or so they thought.

Ambrielle Kirk has created a “dog eat dog” world where true love is a gift to be treasured. She has populated her world with outstanding characters, great chemistry, and of course the deceit that power-hungry factions bring to the table. In a truly brilliant move, Ms. Kirk has taken us inside the mind of a wolf filled with rage, chaos and determination. You will feel the fury and sense the power that emanates from within. Ms Kirk writes with a sense of confidence in her world that is felt in every page.

Fast-paced, riveting, often brutal, will love survive?

**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**

This series started out amazing! I fell in love Devin and Tamara in Wolf's Haven and that book remains at the top of my all time favorite shifter romance novels. Throughout the series, we have experienced other members of the Caedmon Wolf pack find and connect with their mates and their stories have been great as well. In addition to finding love, the books in the series has touched on a growing rivalry between the Caedmon and another pack. In Wolf's Strength, the conflict comes to a head and we get to experience the pack war.

While I enjoyed the back story and the resolution of the pack conflicts, I was disappointed in the lack of story about Naomi and Blake. Instead of the author focusing on the H and h, this book felt more like a soap opera where every chapter was dedicated to a different person and told from their point of view. There were chapters on Devin, Tristan, Elisa and even Roman. While I enjoyed all of these characters, it took away from the romance of the story and made it more of a drama. Of course I did enjoy the scenes in which we do get to experience Naomi and Blake....they were hot together and their chemistry was amazing! I loved the bond and the love that these two had for each other.

Overall, this was a good story. I'm not sure how I felt about the mating ceremony but I'm happy these two got their HEA! I will definitely read more from this author.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t read the others in the series, so I missed some of the background of the characters. With saying that, I was still able to have a good idea about what was happening in the story.

Blake and Naomi are fated mates that can’t truly be together because they are a part of rival packs. They try to meet up when they can, but with what is going on between all the packs, it’s making it hard and hard for them to be together.

Blake has been almost begging Naomi to run away with him, but as she always reminds him, they have duties to their packs. Blake is a part of the head council and Naomi’s job is to protect her pack. Will they ever be able to have their eternal bond like they are meant to? Or will they forever be sneaking off to have stolen moments with each other?

Though Blake and Naomi had a lot of obstacles in their way, you are constantly rooting for them to finally be together.

Though the story is truly about Blake and Naomi, you also get some side plots from the other characters that are still entertaining and don’t pull away from Blake and Naomi’s story.

If you are love to read paranormal books and love some steamy scenes this is the book for you! I’m definitely going to go back and read the other books in the series :)

Blake DeLuca of the Caedmon Pack and Naomi Valentine of the Arnou Pack are fated mates belonging to rival packs. They have been secretly seeing each other for years putting off their eternal bond. Hostility grows between the Caedmons, the Arnous and the Others threatening a civil war. Naomi needs to make a choice to be with her true love or the duty to her pack.

Wolf's Strength is an attention grabbing thrilling novel. I couldn’t put this 147 page book down. It has a bit of everything: great characters, conflict, forbidden love, power struggles, deception, and more.

There is never a dull moment in Wolf's Strength. Both the main story and sub plots will keep you entertained. It is amazing all the information and story lines that are packed (no pun intended) into this novel. This is a great book for lovers of paranormal romance.

3.5 stars for "Wolf's Strength"

This book has a lot to offer; Naomi and Blake are great characters, their origin story is really unique in the landscape of paranormal romance, they’re mates from rival packs. I also enjoyed the fact that Ms. Kirk’s writing really explores the dual nature of shifters; we get narrative from the point of view of a raging werewolf, I never read that POV before. I also like the conflict of the storyline; familiar characters pop up for a stroryline update, but its never stale or boring, (If you missed a few books you’ll be fine reading this one) but the new enemy is very BAD, with a new twist on the genre. I rooted against them for the entire book.

Fav Character: Tristen Arnouu

Fave Line: “Blakes eyes glazed and he began seeing everything in vivid red, but things were clearer nonetheless. His body shuddered as he fought the emergence of his angry wolf. There was no subduing his animal any longer. The wolf was his other half. They completed each other and the both hungered…

Shade: I wish there was more description of the characters and of the setting. There were some slight mechanical issues as well.

I’m jus sayin: This is a good addition to a great series.

Ambrielle Kirk’s “Wolf’s Strength” is the fifth book in her Caedmon Wolves series. If you like the Black Dagger Brotherhood books by J.R. Ward, you’ll enjoy the Caedmon Wolves series. It’s basically BDB but with werewolves instead of vampires. Each book focuses around a couple and each couple’s relationship is different, so it keeps the books feeling very fresh. Number 5 involves a very fierce fighter of a leading lady wolf, Naomi, and a smokin’ hot leading male wolf, Blake. The sex scenes are superb! I love the concept of true mates! There is also a bigger story that arcs through all of the books, which also draws you into the series. My only small complaint is that the books are a smidge short. I really would like to know more of each couple’s story! Can’t wait to keep reading this series to see where it goes next.

Rival packs, forbidden love, magic, threats, mysteries, what’s not to love? I was so swooning over Blake and Naomi, they worked so well together and one can only appreciate what they’ve gone through without giving up on each other. The love story blends well with the pack rivalry, their leader’s feuds, the common threat, and the role seers and magic play.

While Devin is definitely an easy to like character, Tristan is the alpha who became my favorite. He might seem like a bad wolf and not the best of leaders, but I loved him just the same. I was pleasantly surprised by the twist and turns in his life and now I can’t wait for the next book!

If you like werewolves and magic, love stories and quite a bit of fighting and action, with a touch of mystery, you will love this book!

I received this book for a review only tour for my blog. I have not read any other books from this author so I really didn't know what I was going to get. I love paranormal romance so I figured what the heck, I'll give it a shot and I'm very glad I did, Now I am going to have to get the first 4 in the series just to read about the rest of the pack and to see what had happened leading up to this point, I can't wait to read what happens next. I read this book in one sitting because I didn't want to stop reading it. This book was well written it had action and passion. This book has two rival packs coming together to fighter a greater evil. If you love paranormal romance about wolf shifters you will really love this book/series.

My favorite in this series Blake and Noami are on fire for each, but their relationship is in secret because their from enemy packs but wow when they come together, the sex is hot as hell, out of control and loving all in one. Love Tamara and Devin and their triplets. This book is my favorite so far because all the characters come together from the previous books and we get to see them in action, the energy in this book is off the charts. This book is mystery, intriguing, loving and holy hell awesome. All the characters bring something to the table and I loved every minute of it, the author nailed this book, Can't wait to read more from her . 5 stars .review by Nanee at upallnightreadallday.blogspot.com

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review. This book focuses on the forbidden relationship of Blake (Caedmon) and Naomi (Arnou). I really enjoyed the scenes where Naomi and Blake could explore their mate bond, but while all that is going on there is also another piece to the story. It involves wolf spirit stripping and getting to the bottom of who is collecting these spirits. While this is a book in a series, it can be read as a stand alone because the author puts enough detail in to remind readers about the past and elaborates on certain aspects of the packs. I was thrown for a loop at the end of this book with the teaser/cliff hanger we are given. I give this book four fangs.

I loved this Series. Given I have only read the last two books in the series but wow. The structure and dynamic of these wolves and their packs is intriguing enough, but then you add the mates. It makes for one captivating read.

I really enjoyed the characters and love the fact that you get to see and hear from characters from previous books. The story just builds. This book is like the werewolf version of romeo and juliet. Which kind of made it fun. Not exactly the same obviously but the whole forbidden love thing. There are lots of twist and turns in this book that kept me on the edge of my seat. I really enjoyed the read. If you aren't a fan of the series become one now. You are missing out on a great adventure.

*Spoiler alert*!!! Thoroughly enjoyed reading Blake and Naomi's story. When Elisa had her vision about being with her mate, I pondered my mind trying to figure out who it would be, but when Tristan and Devin had their first meeting and Devin basically dogged him out about his Enolas not being enough to satisfy him as he had not found his true mate, I had an inkling that Elisa and Tristan would being Nate's. I can't wait to read the next book!!! I look forward to the triplets growing up, Elisa and Tristan's story, and Dawson finding his mate. Great writing as usual Ambrielle.

"The spirit lives on"
This series is one you will fall in love with!. The characters will win your heart. The story line is compelling. In this book you have the Romeo and Juliet type of romance. Blake is from the Caedmon pack and Naomi is from the Arnou pack they know they are mates now can they find a way to be together?. Also the packs have other problems someone is killing shifters. Who can be behind it? . So with this book you get suspense, action and forbidden love how can you ask for more!. This is a must must read book!

Blake DeLuca loves Naomi Valentine and she loves him. However there is a war brewing over power struggles between their two packs and her allegiance lies with her alpha Tristan Arnou. He stands behind his alpha Devin Caedmon. So where does that leave their love. This story is full of action, drama, love,
secrets, and old memories long buried. The characters are strong, believable and sexy hot. I loved how they had to over come their loyalties and fight for their love.

I would recommend this book. 4 Stars

It was okay. The MCs weren't the main focus as others in previous books of the series. Which was disappointing because I loved that Naomi wasn't some damsel needing to be cared for but a formidable warrior. Blake also a warrior loved her & supported all her wishes regarding their mating timeline. The story never revisited the story-line regarding her twin brother Nathan or their father. You would think their presence would have been made know at the mating ceremony. Just oddly unfinished.

Feeling Conflicted!

It took me a while to finish this book! I don't know why, but I felt that this book was missing something. I enjoyed most of the story line. I don't let a review dictate if I'm going to read a book or not, like most readers. I feel the readers will have to read it for themselves. I have really enjoyed the other books in the series and I am looking forward to reading book 6.

Horrendous editing!!! The plot of the story is intriguing but the editing is soooo horrible it took away from the story. Some passages required multiple reading before I could figure out what the author was trying to say. Too bad because with the uniting of the packs, the mating and Tristian's discovery of his mate, this should have been the best in the series. On my Were Scale of Hotness, 2.5 stars.

This for me was a disappointing long wait. After reading her previous books in the series, I was expecting more and was just let down. The story line was a little jumbled for me especially with all of the typos. I was hoping for more of the romance of the original characters along with the new story. I really feel let down.

I really wasn't impressed. The story was decent, bringing together 2 wolf packs. I found that I was confused with the who/what/why sometimes, I still not really sure who the witch is. There was a few spelling errors and the sex, kinda fell flat.
