This book was awesome. I fell in love with the Heart and Soul series back when I first read Temptation. Then fell even more in love with these amazing characters in Devotion, now this one. I love Lucas he is amazing as usual.

The characters were so amazing, again in this book. I loved how much Mel has changed and matured since the first book in this series! Here heart is so big, it really is, she is a great person.

She was so determined to help Lucas and Jason even though they both wanted her not to get involved because they both wanted to protect her! Lucas in this book was so hot and sexy too. I loved how much he protected Mel and that he was always there for her for anything. I think the plot twists in this book were great! I sure did have a feeling something big was going to happen, but didn't see it coming in the way it did!

I love Lucas even more in this book, and trust Jason even less, I have always had a feeling about him, and it gets stronger in this book.

I only really have one negative to say, and that is I despise cliffhangers and this one is big. It's going to haunt me until I can read the next book. I sure did not see that one coming.

The book cover is really cool too, just right I think.

I highly recommend this book and the series.

Jamie was kind enough to give me a copy of this book for my honest review. I was one of the Beta readers..so got to read early which was awesome, thanks Jamie.

Be sure to check out her other books, they all are great.

As soon as Jamie asked me to beta read this book I jumped at the chance! I have been working with Jamie since the beginning of her writing career and I have loved every second of it! I have loved the Heart and Soul series since I read the first book in the series as well! I love how Jamie's writing has improved since the first book and that I can see changes in the flow of her writing as well! The books in this series have been so short and Deception is the same! I would honestly love for them to be longer as I completely adore them! I start to get really into them and then they end or they leave it at a huge cliff-hanger! The good thing is that I don't have to wait long for the next book! The plot of Deception continued off from where Devotion left off from! I loved it! I though that it was a brilliant follow on and I also loved the twists that Jamie added to the book to make it more interesting and to change course of the series! I also loved that there was lots of action in this book! The characters were again amazing in this book! I loved how much Mel has changed since the first book in this series! She has grown so much and I have loved her changes! She was so determined to help Lucas and Jason even though they both wanted her not to get involved as they both wanted to protect her! Lucas in this book was so hot! I loved how much he protected Mel and that he was always there for her! I also enjoyed that Jason was back in this book! He is such a funny character and I loved his witty sense of humour! I loved that the love triangle from this series was sort of present in this book between Mel, Lucas and Jason! I am Team Lucas but I still have a soft spot for Jason! The ending was amazing! It was such a cliff-hanger and I wasn't expecting it at all! I couldn't read it fast enough! I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this series as this book left it at such a cliff-hanger that I will be biting my nails for the next book! The cover really suits the other covers in the series! I love it! Big thank you to Jamie for asking me to beta-read Deception for her!

Another hit!

I loved this book. I love the idea of angels and demons. I also enjoy the prospect of someone not being too holy to be earthly good! Cliches be damned! This book was really entertaining.

I did enjoy reading this & I've read the series to date.

I found myself not as captured by this one as the others. Not sure why.

It was a good easy read & I will b continuing with the series...
