Really Needs A Professional Editor
I wanted to enjoy this book more than I did. "One Time" presents a powerfully engaging story with a compelling narrative but the quality of the writing (or lack thereof) was too distracting to allow the reader to be completely drawn in. And I'm not the only reviewer to have been put off by several pages of all caps text. Despite its gripping storyline, the writing falls short of professional standards. The prose feels amateurish, detracting from the intense experience with its lack of polish. This book could really benefit from the touch of a professional editor to refine its language and enhance its overall impact.
In essence, while "One Time" offers a fascinating journey, its potential is marred by its execution, leaving readers (at least this one) wishing for a version that matches the story's inherent power with equally powerful writing.

A Rambling Tale of One-Time Incidents
This is a memoir. It is written in a very conversational manner. The connections between chapters are the one-time style of storytelling. The main story of a felon struggling for redemption and reformation is not new. The author attempts to explain decisions made and actions taken from his early life to the point where he begins to accept his consequences for his foolish actions. This is a personal faith journey and if you don’t like the conversational approach it might be hard to find gripping or interesting. I wished that the author didn’t lean so heavily on the one-time gimmick to drive the narrative. Overall, I wished for more reflection and deeper introspection to get to the redemption.

Heartwarming and Captivating perspective

I already figured this book would have a great turn around, and it did! Only I wasn’t expecting it to break my heart so much along the way, making me more invested in wanting to know what would happen next. Of all the wins he sought, the final win was bar far the most rewarding and now Frank can share his story to continue winning other souls for Christ. Amazing.
