Understanding Statistics covers the most important statistical methods at an introductory level, assuming no prior knowledge of statistics and not requiring calculus. Rather than adopt a "cookbook" approach, the emphasis is on understanding fundamental principles so the reader will know not just how it works, but why. This book provides a solid basis for a complete introduction to elementary statistics.
Grant is a friend of mine and he has a great way of explaining things. I'm looking forward to reading this book and have already found it refreshing and readable in the first few pages.
