Beautiful and fabulous ending of a great series!!!💖

What a fabulous ending for this epic series!!! When blade leaves Cheyenne for dead using her life's blood to power a artifact that will help him to become the supreme alpha little does he know that max was able to save her. But the moon goddess has a set path for her children that once started will bring big change! The evil of blade will cause more pain, sorrow and even great loss, but their will also be great healing and a victory and rebirth to all of the talon pack and their brother tribes!!! Cheyenne and max have crossed paths many time but neither felt the mate bond, but when the goddess opens the door these two go up in flames and it's beautiful !!! I Love both these characters and Carrie's storytelling is so friggin good. The ending is truly eye opening and a new beginning for all.I cried so many times because of her writing ,their are many beautiful moments and a deep bonding between these two lovers. Their is also love making that will melt your kindle screen! I don't want to say too much more ,but I will end by saying this.... Very few writers have touched my soul like this writer and reading one of her books is the whole package, she's a very talented lady!💖😉

I absolutely loved this story! It was a fantastic read! It drew me in from beginning to end! I was so happy to finally get to read Max's story! I think on some level that you really need to read the Talon Pack series to fully enjoy and understand everything going on in this story. I do think that Carrie Ann Ryan writes this in a way that you might be able to pick up this story and read it and understand what is going and enjoy but not to the same level. She does give flashback and backstory to things that you need to know to get this one but not in a way that will annoy readers that have read the previous stories. Max has been in the Talon Pack books from the beginning and so if you have read them you know what he was like before his major injury and why his personality change is such a thing. I loved Cheyenne as well. We have gotten to know her as a character as well from the last couple of books since she is best friends with previous heroines. I LOVE how Max and Cheyenne were brought together in this story! It is so well done and while it has evil's hands involved, there so much more to it! The story is weaved beautifully and once I started reading, I literally couldn't put the story down. I had to find out how this series would come to an end and how they would defeat their horrible enemy this time around. I knew this was the planned finale for the series and it definitely satisfies! As much as I don't want to say goodbye to the Talon's (and can't wait to see where things go from here), I can say that everything was tied up and I felt like I could say goodbye (for now!).
There is plenty of action and intrigue within this story! It will hold your attention wondering what is going to pop out next and how they are going to deal with what they have ahead them. There is also a beautiful romance written in with Max and Cheyenne. They have been dealt a hand that they aren't sure what to do with. Neither expected to find a mate or be each other's mates. But they move forward in such a great way. I loved that aspect of the book. The sex is explicit and blended perfectly into the story. It's not a large aspect of it as there is so much else going on. Fans of this series will absolutely enjoy this story!

I really had mixed emotions about reading Forever Broken, on one hand I love this series and have been waiting for Max's book for a while but knowing this is the last one for a while is sad!! Carrie Ann didn't disappoint though Forever Broken might just be my favorite of the series.

Max Brentwood has always been a happy guy with a smile on his face, being the youngest Brentwood he was shielded from a lot of the evil his uncle and father brought the pack. That all changed when the war with the humans came to their front door. Max almost died in that attack, loosing his arm was the price he paid. Max feels he is broken and on the outside looking in on his pack and family, everyone is mated and has been blessed by the moon goddess with a position in the pack, everyone but him.

Cheyenne Liles feels left behind in a way, all of her friends have mated into the Talon pack and now are immortal. Cheyenne has made the decision to pull away from her friends, not wanting them to see her age and eventually die, its the only thing she can do. Until one night leaving work the threat to the Talon pack comes to her, kidnapping her with an intent she doesn't want to think of.

Forever Broken has all of the feels.....it is a story about two people who hardly know each other but have so much in common come together for the greater good of the pack. Max and Cheyenne have to find their way through a very difficult situation to save the pack and find out that they had a destiny that neither one of them could have foreseen.

This close knit community of shifters just grabs your imagination and your heart. Though starting out on a sad note, this story is forever hopeful. Max has been in so many books in this series we know him, want him to be happy. Cheyenne has been practically a sister to Dawn, Aimee, and Dhani and now they are all Pack, but she isn't. Max and the Talons have another war to face as Blade seeks to be bigger and badder than all shifters, and it looks like Cheyenne will be in he middle of it. Carrie Ann brings us into this world and makes it real. I hate that this ends the Talon storyline, but every time it is a ride to remember.

I'm going to start by saying I almost didn't want to read this book. Because if I read the book, that meant the series was over. And I love the Talon Series, and the Redwood series, and really didn't want to see them end. But, I HAD to know what happened! So, even though it meant the end, I started reading. And then, I couldn't stop reading! There were so many things going on, all at the same time, that I was afraid if I stopped reading, I'd miss something.

Max was always the fun Brentwood, the one that was always smiling, until he lost part of himself in a battle. Everything changed then, his personality, his outlook on life, his place in the pack. And he wasn't sure how to get back to who he was, or if he should even try. He wasn't sure how to move on or where he should go from there. Cheyenne is human, part of the pack, but not. One by one, her friends have mated, leaving her behind. She decides to pull back, away from them, until something tragic thrusts her back into pack life, in a way no one could have ever imagined. The connection between Max and Cheyenne is immediate, and perfect, magical and beautiful. And so much more than I ever expected!

This book.....there is so much I want to say, but I don't want to give anything away! The writing in this book is so realistic, the details so vivid, so lifelike, I could taste, smell, hear, see what was happening. My heart was racing during almost the entire book. This book was phenomenal, the beginning, the middle, the ending, it was all so amazing! And that ending! I just can't get over that ending! I never could have imagined anything like that! Both the Redwood and Talon pack series have become some of my very favorite PNR, some that I've read over and over. This was an ending fit for a series that has kept me engrossed since the very first book, and just might be my favorite out of them all!

This is book 9 in the Talon pack series and you absolutely must read the previous books so you know what is going on in this one. There is a bigger story ARC that these books push along. This one is about Max Brentwood and Cheyenne Liles. Max used to be the pack member who was always smiling and was ready to laugh and make people's lives just a little bit lighter. But that changed when he was hurt on the battlefield. Now his family and friends look at him and try to figure out how to get that person back not realizing that he is still the same person, he just knows the horror's of battle now in a way he didn't before. Cheyenne has watched all of her friends become part of the supernatural world and has slowly been trying to back away so that they don't have to watch her grow old and die because she isn't a part of it. But now the Aspen pack Alpha has dragged her into the middle of their battle and has altered her fate more than anyone ever saw coming.

I loved this book! Cheyenne is brought kicking and fighting into a world that she really didn't think she was fully a part of, but she adjusts and shows everyone her strength in a way that made her one of the best women characters written in this series. She is afraid but she still stands up and fights for what she believes is the right thing. I always wondered how Max's story would play out and this was the perfect way for him. He is strong but he still manages to show the people he cares about that he really does care about them. I was leery at first to read this one as I know it's the last book in the series. I love this series and I was worried that the last book wouldn't do the ending justice and leave me hanging. I can honestly say, this book didn't do that to me at all! All of my questions have been answered and the book was written in such a way that this world can always have another off shoot series written in the future-which made my day! The ending is absolutely perfect for not only this story line but the series as a whole. And with the ending happens, if there is ever a return to this world, it leaves it open so that we may see some of our favorite characters again! I couldn't have asked for a better way to end the series, even if I am sad to see it end. Loved it and I am so glad that all of the little lines and connections had some sort of resolution.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; I hate when a series I loves ends, but Carrie Ann Ryan knows how to end on a awesome note.
The Talon pack has been through so much since the start of the series and have only gotten stronger.
Max Brentwood is one member that has been through more than one person can possibly go through and stay sane. He is the family member that was not blessed by the Moon Goddess with a high position of power in the pack and he was perfectly fine with that. He was the happy brother/cousin after the hell that they went through as kids, however none he’s not so happy go lucky anymore.
Cheyenne Liles has learned that there is more than just humans in this world, it also has shifters and witches, crazy yes but she can handle it. She has also watched has her three best friends find love in that supernatural world and as shifters and witches they will all have to watch her the human grow old and fade away and she doesn’t want that so she starts pulling away from them.
Omg, so much happens in this story and it all starts with a kidnapping and attempted murder and ends with a blessing from the Moon Goddess that changes things forever.
Max and Cheyenne have always been sort of drawn together, watching the others from across the room whenever they are together.
I totally love that Max, who has been through so much, found his mate in Cheyenne they totally make sense together.
Together they have to do what they can do find a end to the psychotic Alpha of the Aspen pack Blade.
Ryan has done it once again, wrote a beautiful love story within a story that has a ending of old ways and the beginning of new. That has a hint of danger, a touch of mystery, a lot of passion.
I am sad to see the end of the Brentwood family, glad to see that they finally get the happiness that they deserve, and so very pumped to know that we have not seen the last of the shifter world from the mind of Carrie Ann Ryan!!!!

Every time I step into this world I am one that is drowned and swept away thanks to the writing. The character sneaky that they are slowly wrap around you, seeping into you with their depth and emotions. Before you realize it you are lost in them sucked into the story. Cheyenne is the last of her friends whom takes a 360 turn. How she does it is only the beginning that opens the door to some fast pace reading. Max is one that can capture any heart of a reader with having gotten ours. The two of them in this will be the sneaky I spoke of. I needed to know, with also seeing and feeling it all. This one will also be the mountain that takes your breath. So needless to say this author has done it again better than ever.

Such a good finale to The Talon Pack and love the journey both Max and Cheyenne took together. Max had so much to overcome and to with him and Cheyenne, each no longer feeling like an outsider. I listened to the audiobook and it held so much more in the words when spoken. I'm hoping the Aspen Pack will get their own series soon.

Amazing ending to a wonderful series! I feel in love with Ryan's Redwood pack which lead me to the the Talon pack. All the books are amazing!
Max was one of my favorites through all of the Talon books. He was the happy-go-lucky guy always finding the good in a person or situation. Then he was seriously injured and our happy guy changed so much. I missed him.
I related best with Cheyenne of all the 4 girls in Dawn's group of friends. Cheyenne is a vet and grounded in science. She had trouble with being so close to the pack. However, her association also made her a target. She and Max shared an unspoken attraction, but neither acted upon it.
When Max learns Cheyenne's in trouble all of his protective instincts surge forward.
These two are a great match. Both feel as if they don't belong and are misfits, but with some divine intervention and each other, they find themselves the key to the pack survival!
Great twists and turns in this book! I couldn't out it down. This book as well as the whole series (Talon and Redwoods) are must reads!

This was a bittersweet read. One I loved, because I love this series, this pack, this family. But one I knew was ending...at least for now (hopefully). This was Max & Cheyanne’s story, and it starts out with high stress levels. Not gonna lie, you’re pretty much going to feel like that throughout, but that’s to big expected when you know a big battle will be coming. But there’s also the good feels, the love and family and togetherness. If you haven’t read this series yet, you need to!! This will forever be a favorite series of mine, I can’t wait to jump in and start from the beginning again!!!

Oh my heart, oh my nerves, oh my moon goddess, this is a wild ride that goes nowhere you expect, but ends exactly as it should! The Talon Pack saga draws to a close with this book, but this isn't a sedate send off, this is the wildest story yet, and if you have read any of the books in the series, you know that is saying something

Max and Cheyenne have a fate thrown at them by the moon goddess. They don't shy away from it, though neither knows what it means, or where it is headed. Some seriously scary things happen, and all hope seems lost, and even when a clear path to victory seems clear, nope, twists again. Up until the very end, you still don't know how they will pull this off, and then, super shocker, and it all falls into place

As broken as Max seems to himself, he doesn't feel that way with Cheyenne. As confused as Cheyenne is with everything happening, Max calms her. They have more than a bond, they immediately understand each other. The chemistry they have, that has always been there, can now be set free, as they fall in love with each other

The wolves unite to face this unknown fear, and in the end, Max and Cheyenne stand tall together, Talon's forever!

I have loved Carrie Ann's books for a long time. It all started for me with the Redwoods series. When that series ended and she hinted of a series for the talon pack I was beyond ecstatic... and my excitment was justified. Wow! This book, the final book, had me hooked with the first line. I was instantly drawn back into the world Carrie has created and I didn't want it to end.
I cannot wait to revisit this world again in the future. We don't know when it will happen, what pack we will visit or who of our lovable couples or triads we will see again, but no matter where Carrie takes us next I know it will be spectacular.

I began this book with mixed emotions. I've been reading the Talon Pack series since the beginning and before that, reading about the Brentwoods in the Redwood Pack series. I wasn't ready to say goodbye to them. Max had a special place in my heart, as he had been so terribly injured and was missing the bottom of an arm. He'd always seemed to be on the outside of his family, mostly his doing, but he was such a sympathetic figure. I was excited to see him finally get his HEA, hoping that it would help him regain his smile and help him feel like he was a part of his loving family, instead of apart. And I liked Cheyenne and felt for her as she'd watched all of her best friends become a part of something that she couldn't be.

Cheyenne and Max are such a cute couple. I loved watching their relationship grow, even though it began backwards with a mating that couldn't have happened. Watching Max get his mojo back brought a smile to my face. Watching this couple bring peace again to the packs was great. Getting to see the other family members again was even better. I loved this series in that throughout it, even with each HEA, we never had to say goodbye to any of the couples that we've met along the way. I loved the moments between brothers Max and Mitchell, a family dynamic which was sometimes overlooked because of the big group of Brentwood cousins.

The big resolution was exciting. Blade was such a great villian! He seemed to get more and more powerful and more and more dark as the series went on. His declaration of himself as Supreme Alpha was the ultimate in arrogance, but seeing what he was able to do was jaw dropping. And yes, I was able to visualize what was happening. I loved how the Moon Goddess, herself, was so instrumental in his downfall.

All that to say this: I loved this book! What a perfect sendoff to an awesome series. It had it all, the paranormal aspect, the action, the romance, the family dynamics, the friend dynamics ... and then the ending that I certainly didn't see coming! Or was that an ending? As sad as I was to see the series end, there is so much material there for a new series, or two, featuring these wolves. And hopefully we will get those series ... :)

Final book in the Talon Pack series by Carrie Ann Ryan.
Max is a solider in the Talon Pack but not part of the hierarchy. Through the years of fighting Max loss his arm and a little bit of his soul.
After years of fighting and trying to make something of his dysfunctional pack.
Things start to look up when things start to get back to normal and family’s start to have babies which haven’t happened for centuries.
Cheyenne has been friends with Talon Pack for a long time and has been eyeing Max but they have been passing each other in the night as such but Max wolf didn’t recognise Cheyenne as his mate.
After Cheyenne was attack by Blade Max’s wolf woke up and noticed her as his mate.
I did feel this was a bit slow for me and I had to push myself through first part of the book but once Cheyenne was attacked and max realised they were mates.
The main battle was really good but felt Blade got killed too easily but I did like the whole Supreme Alpha thing.
Shame we won’t find out more about next generation of the Talon

What a way to end this series of The Talon Pack. Carrie Ann Ryan did a fabulous job with last book in the series. Max & Cheyenne both believed they were broken & didn’t have a purpose in their circle of family’s & friends. Always there to lend a hand to help out when needed. They hung around the edges, kind of feeling like they were always looking through the window of what was happening but not really apart of anything. That they were invisible & not useful. But, when danger arises & a tragic event takes place, these two broken souls unite & learn that they are a force to be recken with as a untied pair! This is definitely one of Ms. Ryan’s best stories. She gave us, her readers, everything we have wanted and then some!! You want be disappointed!!! A total page turner from beginning to end!!!!

In the finale to the award-winning Talon Pack series from NYT bestselling author Carrie Ann Ryan sets, the final Brentwood must find his mate as the war with the Aspens comes to a close.

Cheyenne Liles has watched all of her friends mate into the Talon Pack and have their lives changed forever, one by one. She’s stood back, helpless to assist in the war with a rival Pack. But just when she thinks her time with the Talons is over and believes she should move on with her human life, the Aspen Pack Alpha takes matters into his own hands, altering her fate far more than a single mate mark ever could.

Max Brentwood used to be the smiling one, the only Brentwood who was somehow able to save his soul during the last Alpha’s reign. But his life was irrevocably changed one fateful day on the battlefield, and he was never the same again. Suddenly, Max is forced to face his future and make a choice when Cheyenne comes into danger: let fate decide, or watch his world crumble around him.

The shifters of this world have fought demons, humans, and themselves. Now, it’s time to find out who they truly are as the war between the Packs ends, and the moon goddess finally takes a stand.
