LOVED IT!
Ms Daphne is one of the first authors I started reading when I started reading on Kindle! There was a reason I fell in love with her storytelling😍 it's because she's a talented author and can write about many genres! I loved the mobster vibe!

Antony and Seraphina are a good match
This was a good story for Sera Mucci. Her father Carmine only had two daughters and no sons. But he wanted to retire and step back from his mafia duties. Sera has been his confidant for years now but unfortunately the big boss and other leads aren’t ready to accept a woman at the helm. Carmine is trying to do his best to give Sera a choice by inviting the most eligible mafia family bachelors to a soirée for her to interview and choose. Because Carmine will choose of Sera does not. Antony, aka the young lion, is amazing as the lead male character. Both leads are well written and well matched. Read On!

Sera and Antony
This is Daphne's first time dabbling in Mafia and I think she did well. The story was entertaining with a mix spice, light violence, and humor. It was fast paced, but maybe a little too fast paced when it came to the couple organically growing their love for one another. I liked the tie in to the Ironwood MC. I also liked the Heroine being strong, independent, sassy, etc. I would for sure read more books in this world.

This is a great departure away from the lords, but still a way to make sure we don’t forget them.
Pride is in the Seven Sins Series, and it is really good. The characters catch your attention, and still makes you want to root for them.
Serafina and Antony are both in the Cleveland Mafia, her as a princess and him as the next Capo of the family. Neither want to marry, but do as they are told, but with a twist. They get to know each other and then move on to being together.
When there is trouble with another family, they come together and take out the problem.
Their love grows the longer they are together and Antony understands that at his side he needs a strong woman who isn’t afraid to take control and do what needs to be done. He needs Serafina.

Arc review for a honest review in my own words. In the mafia world alliance marriages happen all the time ,but with serafina mucci at lease she gets a choice between d'agostino, bianci,or vinuezi family . I like how this women is strong and stubborn while even dealing in a mans world . Fantastic.

Omg this is such a great read.
Sera has been by her father's side learning the business for years but now he wants her to marry as no one will take a woman seriously in the mafia world.
Antony will soon be the new capo as his uncle is not well and his uncle has said that he needs a wife.
Neither want to be married but as soon as they meet sparks fly. When her family is in danger he will do anything to keep her safe but will she let him.
They get closer the more time they spend together but when things go wrong can she trust him.
Plenty of drama, suspicion and suspense but also so much love.
Loved the ending.

I very much enjoyed the pace of the story, it moved at a good clip without feeling rushed. I liked that both Sera’s father and Antony appreciated her intelligence and strength. Not sure how much she will get to use those going forward but nice to see in a Mafia themed book. It was not a “heavy on the dark” storyline but did have moments of violence as you would expect. Having Dante’s brother from the Ironwood series make a short appearance was great. I love how Daphne is able to weave a family feel into her books

Wow - I haven’t read a mafia book in a while and boy was this good! I loved it!!!
It’s time for Serafina Mucci to get a husband, but all she wants is to be one of her father’s men having been by his side helping him. She wants love, not an arranged marriage. This girl is strong, smart, sassy and so much more. Her dad has allowed her things most mafia fathers never allow. Sera’s dad only has daughters so it time for him to find her a husband to join families seeing he is getting older. Her parents were kind enough to throw her a party with the men of the families so hopefully she can have some say. From that party on I could not put this book down. There is suspense, mystery, so many questions about who one can trust. I loved everything about the D’Agostino and Mucci families and I’m hoping there is more to come!!!

Pride was a good story, Daphne Loveling did a great job on it, the plot was strong, it was packed with suspense, action and more, Antony and Serafina were strong characters. Their journey was a rollercoaster, they had their bumps but they were meant for each other, their connection and chemistry was off the charts. This was a good story, I'd suggest reading it.

Liked the book. Liked the story. I always like a good mafia romance.
Couldn’t stand Serafina or Sera. Ridiculous that she was raised a mafia princess and still rails against the lot of women in her world. And rails. And rails.
She’s smart, but really dumb. Thinks she understands the ways of the mafia, but then is gullible enough to believe whatever someone tells her.
She was a distraction to my enjoyment of the story.

good read
Different from the mc books but I liked Anthony and initially thought sera was okay, but her quick temper and jumping to conclusions irritated me. Liked the story and the setting of the scene with the different factions. Good read but still sitting on the fence with sera.

I absolutely loved this mafia romance, Pride by Daphne Loveling. I found the chemistry and banter between Antony and Sera refreshing. He really heard what she was saying and treated her as an equal. I found myself swooning over Antony. If you're looking for your next Mafia read look no further.

I loved going on the journey with Sera and Antony. So intense with drama. Sera is trying her best to be "one of the men" that she can't think of much else. Antony is powerful and dangerous.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "PRIDE" OMG!!! What an interesting, entertaining, intriguing, suspense filled rollercoaster ride full of action, danger, violence, angst, threats, steam, rivals, twists that keeps you turning the pages.
Antony D'Agostino is known in the streets as the Young Lion, he's Clevland royalty, when his father died his mother took her sons away from the Mafia but his Uncle Michael gets him back, then he brings his twin brothers Marco & Matteo to join him, his youngest brother Dante joined Lord's of Carnaige MC Ironwood Chapter, Dominic was killed.
Salvatore Giordano has been like surrogate father to the boys he's 62yrs. old been BF's with Michael Capo of D'Agostino and advisor tells him he needs to marry & have plenty of Sons to carry on legacy.
Serafina Mucci has been told by her father Carmine Capo of Mucci Family she has to marry to strengthen the family he suggests Giovanni Vincenzi who she hates, of a suitor from D'Agostino Family or Bianci Family.
Sera's parents throw a party where Giovanni corners Sera, she pulls away goes out to pool where she meets Antony while he came to check on her seeing what happened, then gunfire explodes she runs to hear screams, Tina huddled on corner alone, her father has been hit, her mother screaming, Antony tells them they need to be taken someplace safe till they figure out who did this & why.
Carmine tells Sera she has to work with Antony o Mann the business till they find out who did this & he heals, Matteo stats to protect him, Tina & her mother at the safe house.
I definitely recommend to get this excellent well written story that hooks you from the start Sera is a spitfire, strong, dependant, a fighter, the banter between her & Antony is great they become attracted to one another the more time their together, will they figure out who put the hit on Carmine, will they get a HEA, its a awesome read with great secondary characters that pull you into all the entense drama.

The last thing Serafina wants is to be married off like a brood mare to keep her Mafia family strong. Antony feels the same way about his impending forced marriage yet sparks fly when he meets Serafina for the first time. Well, he feels sparks and she does too...albeit dimly. She's got a lot going on and being a trophy wife is nowhere on her to do list.
The banter these two share is mixed with spice and heat and I was there for it.This Mafia romance keeps us on our toes with its twists and turns.

Holy Toledo! Daphne has out done herself with Pride it's spectacular. Antony and Serafina together will be so powerful that other heads of the mafia crime families will need their heads on a swivel to be able to guard themselves from all sides. That being said IF they can get past the obstacles that can and will try to block their way, but Antony is one clever Capo.

Antony and Serafina's story pulled me right in and had me hanging on every word. I loved these two so much. The chemistry was totally off the charts, and I thought they couldn't have been more perfect for each other. The story itself is packed with intensity, tension, drama, emotions, passion and twists.

What a great start to a new series! I was hooked from beginning to end. I just loved these two, their chemistry, and just how great they are for each other.

She’s trying to make a statement in the mafia world. He didn’t want to fall in love. Fast pace and full of emotions. Great read. I received this ARC.
