The Handy Chemistry Answer Book by Ian C. Stewart and Justin P. Lomont (Visible Ink Press 2014) (540) is a simple reference book for the curious of mind or for those who have forgotten their high-school chemistry. This is an interestingly-written book of questions and answers. It has a particularly interesting section on chemistry experiments you can do at home (e.g., "How can I make a lava lamp at home?", "How can I make a volcano of vinegar and baking soda?", and "How to blow up the basement using everyday household chemicals") (just kidding about the last one)! I recommend this well-done volume. My rating: 7/10, finished 1/25/14.
