When AI becomes more than just computers, SAGE is the ninth book in the Daverius, House of DAR series, and tells the story of SAGE and SCOUT.
What a great and original read! It is heartbreaking, sad, loving, and heart-warming, with some fun moments.
I like Sci-fi tales because anything goes, and it's not weird. The world that Jennifer has created is full of modern technology, along with AIs that are more than they seem.
The story is told in multiple POV, which makes the story more immersive. There is action, a variety of aliens; some are truly evil, and others are just big, deadly teddy bears.

Well thought out series!
This author Haas created an incredible universe. She brings a part of each book in the storyline but still keeps it so you can read any one of them in any order.
This one is about the computer systems that work with the characters in the series. There are several programs in the series that help the characters in their daily lives. But she has made them more than machines. This book is shorter but still brings more to the programs in better detail.
Thank you so much for this series and I can't wait to see what she writes next.

The novella is about the aftermath of Sage’s actions to help Ivy in book 8, nearly ending her own life. It is an emotional story that will resonate with fans of the series. Sage is willing to sacrifice everything for “a real girl” and doesn't see her own value. She learns that she is valued and loved by her human friends and AI ones.
Although a short read, it is rich with emotion and character depth. The story is a testament to the power of love—even the love of AIs exploring their own existence.

Love love love!
I just think Sage and Scout are adorable, Scout is so protective of Sage that he just melts my heart. The writing style from a AI perspective was hard to adjust to at first but once you get into the book the writing style makes sense and makes the book even more unique. Totally love the glimpses of DaR and family but adore that the main feature is Sage and Scout.

Sage and Scout - yes!
It is about time the artificial intelligence had a story of their own. Thr Daverius, House of DaR is the fist books I have read fri this author and look forward to backtracking to other novels. What I really like about this one is that Scout was reluctant to allow

A sweet short read for Sage and Scout
I did not realize that this was just a short read. It’s cute though. Sage us amazing and everyone can feel her evolving with feelings. Sage helped Kira upon arrival. Now that Sage has made a sacrifice to save a human female, will Scout be able to bring Sage back online? Or will she be lost AI? Read On!

Loved It💕💕 So Cute
I have enjoyed Sage in all of the books even though she is an AI. Artificial Intelligence. The way she cares for the members of The House Of Dar is fantastic. Kudos to the author👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I loved the direction of this book for the series. I’m so glad SAGE is becoming her own program person. It will be interesting to see how this figures into the next books in the series. Great writer

silly, romantic very short read
The AI finally hit it off & are now an actual item. Who knew Scout was such a romantic. Of course Sage is ecstatic with this development. Really cute & awfully silly little quick read.

2 AI's in a loving relationship ? Cool ! There is no violence in this book, just good things. Sage seems like a sweet innocent young lady while scout Is a handsome, romantic man . I Look forward to more on this couple ! 💘

As short as this is there are still too many editing errors. And the appropriate cognate for food or nutrition it is SUSTENANCE not "substance."

I absolutely adore SAGE, she’s definitely the AI darling of this world, and ya’ll already know that I’m a bit smitten with SCOUT too. These two are relationship goals, they just are. I know, I know, they are AI’s, but that doesn’t mean they don’t care for each other, and the people they protect. SCOUT creates a secret vacation world for just the two of them after he saves her. They really are just too cute, and sweet. Such a romantic book. These two are definitely relationship goals, that have my heart, and make my heart so happy.
