Rebecca is determined to do a good job as the babysitter (and fake girlfriend) of troubled rock star Carter Hudson, but before the ink is even dry on her contract her charge is slipping out of her control. She could regain it-- if she could keep her hands off of Kent, her new boss and Carter's brother. Too bad something about him attracts her the way no man ever has...

This series has been really good so far and I love Kent's character as well as Rebecca's and let me just say this...THEY NEED THEIR HEA!!! I will be very pissed if they don't get it, and also Carter NEEDS to grow up as well as straightening up. He seems to be a bit spoiled to me, so I am really interested in reading his book to see if my opinion gets changed at all. But back to Kent and Rebecca... This whole Rebecca being Carter's girlfriend is going to end badly, I hope I am wrong in saying that but I have a bad feeling that either the press is going to drag Rebecca through the dirt or her Ex is going to com out of the wood work and try to use her new found fame to gain exposure for him and his band. Again I hope I am wrong but usually I am right. On to book 3....
Ava Lore once again surprised me with how much she could pack into a short story! I just wish it was all one book so I did not have to surf through my Kindle to find my other additions.
Okay, so part of me is starting to feel sorry for Carter and something needs to happen soon. I like Kent (in the first book I loved him) but in this one I am beginning to think he is thinking solely about himself.
I still keep thinking if this contract is going to lead to more....
This was mostly smut and stuff leading up to the stuff. No real story going on this book. Is it cheating if you hit on the girl whom you hired to be your brother's girlfriend-slash-babysitter. That's the whole point of the book. And it seems so short. I will probably reach half my book challenge just by completing this one book, sorry, series.
I really like this writer's style. I like it so much that I am reading this book in serial form which I hate. She handles the first person well and the characters are real and engaging. I can't wait for the series to come out as single book. Then, I might be four stars happy.
I'm really enjoying this series. I just wish the books were LONGER! :) Rebecca's comments continue to give me the giggles and Kent continues to be yummy. I would have liked more of Rebecca's interaction with Carter meaning how they were in public, etc.
this was a great book to read. I could not get enough from the first book so I had to buy this book too! I also read this book in one day! Thanks for writing a awesome book. Thanks for being an awesome story teller so I could enjoy it!!
When I got to the end all I could say to myself was: "What the hell?!" Not to belabor the point but once again way too short (Four chapters does not a series make...)! If Ms Lore wasn't such a good writer I'd just say to hell with this series...
Better than the previous one, that was just the beginning of the book and included a long warming up. This one leans finally more towards romantica, while the first really seemed only erotica. However it seems that usual cliches are building up and did not make this a very extraordinary book.
The story was light and interesting. Good read. The only con is that it was in parts. I don't like having to pay $2.99 for each part, when if it was one book, I would've enjoyed it more and not felt like I was ripped off.
This might even deserve five stars but oh the ending came far too fast. Cannot wait to get the third one started. I am still a bit high from finishing this so forgive me for dull review. :D
Why would you sign a contract to be the girlfriend of the guy you drool overs brother ...Argh I don't understand Rebecca, but i love the emotional turmoil that's occuring.
