Another twisted story

I was intrigued with this story, but was having a difficult time due to the female FBI agent. For several reasons, she really annoyed me. I was doing my best to deal with her parts in the story (mostly just ignoring her), but then Luke Titan returned and basically ruined the rest of the story for me. Sorry, but his character has been very overplayed, at least in my opinion.

And if these problems were not bad enough, then the story ends with a cliffhanger, which I absolutely hate. It's difficult enough to attempt to remember what's going on with a secondary plot that may continue throughout a series. When it's the main plot that is stopped in the middle, then having to wait until the next book is released (usually months later), it's impossible to just pick up where the story left off. This may be possible for those who don't read many different books, but for someone like myself who reads 5-7 books every week, it's impossible. If I had known that this book would have ended with a cliffhanger, I never would have started it.

Overall, it was an intriguing story, but with the many issues I had with it, it was just ok.
I'm not going to say weather or not I would recommend this book, because it's not a complete story.

Disappointed

I feel that even in a series, each book should have a conclusion to the specific crime investigation. The eight preceding books did. The ninth did not. Book ten may start with this cliff hanger and resolve the conflicting issue with characters Christian and Luke, but the reader must wait to see when the book is published.

Had I known, I would not have purchased the box set, nor the 9th book.

Christian is back working with Patrick investigating a string of murders. But of course Luke is back too and trying to get Christian framed for the murders.
This book really left me hanging…..it just ended abruptly and now I have to wait for book 10. Ugh

Oh no….a Cliffhanger!

Silly me thought book 9 was the end of this series but little did I know that I have to wait for Book 10! Please Mr Scott hurry and get it published! I really want to know what happens to Christian. Great story!
