Whoa
Mickey is so hellbent on destroying her deadbeat father's life that she is destroying hers in the process. After waking up from being knocked unconscious Mickey don't know who to trust, and although Pillsbury has been a thorn in her ass ever since she started messing with him, she can't seem to leave him alone. Bethany has since moved in with her, but even she is skeptical about Mickey's mood swings. Slowly Mickey tries to regain her memory, but that's when all hell breaks loose. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book

Really dragging it out
Well, that ending compels me to see this series through. Honestly though, there's way too much fluff in this series and this installment had me ready to throw in the towel.
The author has well detailed the failures of Mickey's life, decisions and thinking, so how much more proof do we need? I loved that Mickey was visited by her mother - anytime you get that kind of warning, you should really take heed. But young, dumb, bitter and angry - not a good combination!
I'll read part 4, but the prequel, naw, I'm done.

When I say the drama continue the 💩 hit the fan for real. This book had so much betrayal sex love secrets payback I loved it but I'm sure it's about to get real grimy on to the next one.

WOW, WOW, WOW! There are some jaw-dropping revelations in this book that had me sitting on the edge of my seat! Oh my goodness, talk about action, drama, & suspense! I tell ya, I wanted to reach through my Kindle, & slap the taste out of Brandon Trimble's mouth! And don't even get me started on Paula . . . I want to shake some sense into her! That's how this book is, you'll find yourself talking about the characters like you know them.
Kenni York definitely knows how to spin a tale, and engage her readers! I was just angry, sad, happy, excited, & ready to fight throughout this whole book. And the ending? I'm still trying to pick up my jaw off the floor! As soon as I can manage to get the "no he didn't" look off my face, I will be looking forward to part 4. This series is a "must read!"

Karma 3 was explosive! Mickey's life had been turned upside down in the blink of an eye! If only Mickey had the sense to comprehend what her mother's voice was trying to tell her, she would not have been in this predicament. It seemed several people were seeking retribution & getting it. Part 3 of this series, like the previous 2, was well written with even more shocking revelations that made it a page turner & another exciting read!

Everything that can go wrong is going wrong. It seems like Mickey just can't get right. She is so stuck on making the sponsors life miserable she doesn't know how to make hers any better. Her love life is just a hot mess. Paula is so weak it's ridiculous. She should've been putting money aside for herself and her daughter if she was so unhappy. She wouldn't have needed Brendan for anything and she could've just moved on with her life.

So many unexpected twist and turns. Story line is good, however; major over utilization of one 1 phrase, 3 words that I pray aren't in book 4 "He/She sucked her teeth"...I literally almost stopped reading the book for that reason alone... not the mention the ridiculous grammatical errors. Good author, new editor recommended.
