After learning that Tre has been shot, Lala and Kisha are both faced with the horrible reality that he may not make. Lala is a nervous wreck as she waits to find out Tre's fate. Kisha, on the other hand is pissed to find out that Tre and Tamika have been creeping behind her back. She feels betrayed yet again and not just by anybody but by the woman who claimed to be her best friend. Will she be able to put her anger aside long enough find out if Tre will pull through or will she allow her ratchet side to rear it's ugly head.
In Boykins there aren't many secrets and everyone knows everyone so Mina's abusive relationship with ex-boyfriend Mello is no secret at all. When Mello is locked up for assault and violating his probation. Mina feels that it is time to get out and mingle. At this point she is only concerned with doing her at any cost.
Boykins has seen a lot of drama and ratchetness but it's about to get worst!

I feel like these characters are people I see everyday. OMG...I can't say enough about how the author weaves the lives together and manages to make the characters and their situations seem so believable. So much happened... I think I read non-stop.
The ending had my in tears, but I knew something wasn't right...ONG...

Lala and Kisha find out Tre has been shot and they both must come to terms with the fact that he may not make it out of this alive. Lala is upset to think that her and Tre having been getting along so much better and now something bad has happened that may leave her to raise the girls all alone. Kisha on the other hand is upset Tre has been shot but she is pissed to find out the reason why. To find out that Tre was messing around with her so called new best friend Tamika, has pissed Kisha off to the point where she doesn't even know how to act. When Tre pulls through from surgery one baby mama steps up to the plate to make sure that he is as comfortable as possible, while the other one just can't come to terms of all the events that have taken place. Kisha makes sure to let Lala know she can't stand her, even when Lala tries to be the bigger person the ratchetness from Kisha just keeps going. While the baby mothers have no choice but to accept each other but wont they can't accept is the fact that Tre is trying to move on. Mina is the salon owner and a female that Tre has seen around a few times. Mina has been in a relationship with Mello her abusive baby father for the past 5 years. Since the town is small everyone knows everyone and they know who she is. So when her and Tre bump into each other and things start to develop between the two, talk starts arising around town and gets back to Kisha. Lala doesn't need talk since she hears it with her own two ears. Mina has her own drama going on with her life, but bringing Tre into her life was never suppose to be serious, only something to pass the time. Will Tre be able to move on and leave the drama behind? Will Lala realize she wants ,ore from Tre than a friendship? Will Kisha allow Tre to move on to be happy? Is Mina as sweet as she's playing?
La'Tonya West you have done it again! To be able to make these characters have real life like relationship on paper is amazing!! I have enjoyed this series so much. Between Tre and Lala and Kisha baby mama drama, it is so real the baby mamas no matter the situation always seem to hate each other. Part 3 picks right up where part 2 ends, and the story continues! Tre really tries hard this book, after being shot he has a wake call and no longer wants to live the same way he once was living. He wants things in his life to change and the drama to end, while he realizes he can't fix his past, he knows he can change his now. I don't want to say too much and give too much away. There is definitely a lesson to be learned in this story, I some how knew something was wrong, with a certain character and then as things kept going it was clear something was wrong, but what the character does is shocking. Ladies, mothers you never really know who your dealing with so don't be so trust worthy with people who just come into your life. Great job Ms. West, I need part 4 so please don't keep me waiting!!

So I gave this book 5 stars, because it was so good and the drama had you sitting on edge. Now Miss Minaj got some mess with herself. Like how you lie to a man about being cousins with his ex just cause you want him. Then to be going after your other cousin man is just triffling. Tre Tre just can't catch a break. the one woman that's been there for him he seems to just use her. Lala end up in another messed up relationship with Reggie, like how you couldn't tell something was off with him. Everytime he came around he was always asking about her children old sick azz. That dang kisha needs some help and I see why her and skert had so many problems. She can't let go of Tre but she don't him. I can't wait to read the next book

I can't believe what happened in this book. I'm soo hooked. This one keeps you even more engaged and wanting more. The madness doesn't end. Lala has no one to blame but herself, though we all make mistakes like this. No spoilers. You gotta read it.

Dropped the ball
I've been enjoying this series up until 3. There were inconsistencies from book 2. For instance, when Tre met Kisha at the park and confessed he told her it had been 2 years. In book 3 she didn't know until Lala told. Just like Kisha told him bout Skeet but Tre doesn't know I wish authors would pay more attention to what they writing. I had to take of for that. Otherwise it would have been five star

Just keeps getting better!
I'm glad tre is trying to do better but mina is not the one for him.. I see she is a sneaky chic lusting after her cousins man. I knew Reggie was going to do something to the babies. At first I thought he was gay cause he could have sex with lala. Kisha need to get herself together for her boys. On to part four.

Drama Filled and still lovin' it.
This book was off the chain and once again I am about to head into the next book. It is holding me like crazy so I am about to get into the next one. You said Book for is the last, but I purchased a Side Chic 5.
