Yet another cat book from DK publishing, this one extremely comprehensive in covering all things about the domestic cat i.e. Felis catus. What stood out here were the very detailed chapters on feline biology, physiology and anatomy, from the skeleton to hair and skin and everything in between these layers. Of course the core of the book consisted of the dozens of recognized cat breeds, updated with more recent additions.
DK has done it again! I love this book! It provides information on the different cat breeds, as well as basic details in "Caring for Your Cat," which includes topics like, Preparing for Arrival, Essential Equipment, First Days, Food & Feeding, Grooming & Hygiene, etc. The photographs are full-color, and beautiful!
