1+1+1=BIG TROUBLE
I love love love Brenda Stokes Lee. She never disappoints with her short erotic reads. I was expecting something a little different based on how the story began, but Brenda changed the story line by Chapter 2.
I got a totally different vibe from the characters in this book, but I was still able to pick up on the passion and love shared between Hope and John. Hope seemed to be the stronger of the characters in this book, but Brenda did not let her character overpower the story.
A few pleasant surprises about this book
*Brenda never hinted at the race of the characters until you were well engrossed with the story.
*Brenda was hilarious with the exchange between Hope and Quanique. Even though the two were at odds, the still didn't get into unnecessary heated exchanges that would take up too much of the book.

This was a totally different read from Brenda. I liked this new angle she took. The whole secret surrogate with a three way storyline was such a catchy idea. The usual heat was brought in the sex scenes which is a Brenda Stokes Lee trademark, and by heat i mean five alarm fire!! Everything else that was happening made this story work well also. I do wish though that the book was a longer. It did end a bit abruptly, I was waiting for more to happen at the end and when it didn't i was left wanting more. Other than that this read was great and I'll continue to support this author in the future.

Great storyline and loved the freakiness and John utter devotion to his wife and her devotion to him. Once again a great book by a glorious author.
