"Master of Seduction" is the story of Emma and Patrick.
Two cynical and scarred individuals meet on a yacht, fall madly in love and experience all range of emotions- from jealousy, passion to obsession and possessiveness for each other. There is angst, love and just so much chemistry between the two- it sets the pages of this book on fire. What I really liked was that the MCs did not waste time till the end of the book to realize their intense feelings for each other. Yaas!
It didn't feel like sex. It felt like the absolute necessity to mate, lion with lioness, an affirmation of life.
So GOOD!

"Master of Seduction" is a incredibly well done harlequin romance that fits every bill i crave in a love-story. Emma Baccarat & Patrick Kinsella are literally the same versions of each other- only different in their genders and ways of showing their emotions. Both are cynics, from rich families, and the same emotional abusive child-hood and have irish backgrounds. Both have also been through same dissappointments when it comes to love. But alas, like a lion and lioness they come together in angry outbursts only for them to connect when honesty of their souls surfaces to each other. Both of them refusing to surrender to their fates first. Patrick is the one who recognizes and admits this powerful connection first and gives into a stormy pursuit. He was so ardent, so honest, so brave and so darn well sexy he made my heart beat faster. Their sexual chemistry steamed up the pages. I had to remember breathing sometimes. I could imagine his face when he saw Emma`s reaction to him announcing their engagement. She was so wrapped in her own sense of pride and self-shame that she failed to see how much she hurt him in the process. This is one of the stories where both main characters are so consumed by each other (so crazily smitten) with each other that no one else even matters to them. Emma & Patrick was that...two fools crazily in love.

Very intense and a lot of chemistry. He’s a besotted, very determined, passionate 5-star H. He’s a sweep-you-off-your-feet guy.
The first half half of the book with all the banter was so enjoyable. What he said and what he did, made me smile. He was so intense, so smitten.
The second half of the book, I enjoyed less. The h became more and more of a nag. And in the second half there was in my opinion too much inner monologue of the h which I didn’t like.
What was a huge dislike for me, was the love making scene in which she goes all hot on him, touching every part of his naked body, and then suddenly she turns cold and she wants him to prove that he cares for her by stopping at that very last moment. She made it some kind of test or exam.
To me a HP is a fairy tale, not real life. I therefore like the h to be a Cinderella virgin, but this h wasn’t.
But it was a good read which I enjoyed. I love the H, where can I find him.

Fue muy entretenido leer este libro...
El principio fue muy intenso con la atracción instantánea que sintieron los dos; sinembargo mas o menos a la mitad de la historia se me hizo un poco fastidiosa Emma con esos cambios de actitud tan repentinos que tenia y tampoco me gusto que reprimiera sus emociones y anhelos durante gran parte del libro.
Patrick encambio me pareció un personaje mucho mas interesante de leer, porque a pesar de su aparente frialdad exterior, el si era honesto con sus sentimientos y se lo expresaba a Emma. ❤️
Calificación Final: 4.8 Estrellas 🌟
