Discover the magical science of getting the life you want

In The Neuroscience of Manifesting, psychologist and neuroscientist Dr Sabina Brennan uses cutting edge research to demonstrate that the power to manifest the life of our dreams resides within us all.

By grounding key manifestation principles in science, Dr Brennan shows that manifesting does not require blind trust or faith in higher powers. Instead, it requires changing how you think and behave, and learning how to harness the power of your brain.

Through breaking down complicated neuroscience into empowering everyday strategies, this book will show you how
Gain clarity on what you really want
Cultivate more self-compassion
Connect with your true self
Take considered action to bring about the change you desire
Create your best life using effective, scientifically grounded techniques

Prof Sabrina Brendan's latest book is a cheap attempt to jump on the Rhonda Byrne "The Secret" train (about 15 years too late to show off on Oprah's book club, alas, I guess the good professor is not a very fast learner). The whole first section is about self-love, self confidence, (somewhat of a theme in Dr Bennan's work). The authorial voice is like nails on a blackboard, sounding very much like an odious Karen who postures as a confidante before knifing one in the back.

You can look forward to a bit of superficial meditation, a bit of superficial this and that, flitting from idea to idea. The fact the book promises to "Connect with your true self" but then also "Create your best life" is indicative of the level of consistency and depth of thought on display here. But of course, Dr Bendon doesn't care what YOU want, she's only concerned with writing vapid self-help with a thin veneer of hard science.

Worse than useless.

Really informative book, I learned a lot about what's actually going on in my head when I start manifesting!

It was a nice perspective on manifesting, I like seeing some science behind it but I felt the book was a little repetitive.
