Omfg! Loved this book!!
Naked Submission is the second novella in this series. It's well written, compelling, and definitely edgier than the first novella!
Naked Submission picks up where Dark Desire left off. We meet Tanner's ex and his mother and find out more of his back story; secrets and past relationships are revealed!! :D
I absolutely LOVE this story and these characters! I couldn't put it down! I wish it was longer! I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

I received a free copy of this novella in exchange for an honest review. I give this novella 5 Stars. It's an awesome continuation of Touched by You series. This book was intense, sweet and steamy sex scenes. What I like about this series so far is that the heroine, Natalie, is a strong character. She is independent but a submissive in the bedroom. She is not affraid to stand up to Tanner. She definitely knows what she wants and does not try to deny it. I love that the author did not put the readers through the dragged out drama where the heroine fought her feelings or runaway when things got tough.
The book continued where Dark Desire left off. The story took place in NYC and Milan, Italy.
As Natalie spent more time with Tanner, she fell deeper in love with him. Tanner was also falling deeper in love with Natalie as well but he did not recognized it because he has never been in love. Natalie learned more about her sexual desires and preferences. Tanner continued to teach Natalie about bdsm, his dark side, according to him. Tanner took Natalie to Fashion Week in Milan b/c he wanted to show her more about the fashion industry and also he did not want to be without her. As this book unfolded, Tanner and Natalie learned that they needed each other to breathe.
Tanner believed he was bad for Natalie that he was not good enough for her and kept warning her about him. However, he could not help himself when he was around Natalie. Natalie finally found out about Tanner's past through his vindictive step mother. At the end of this book, Tanner gave Natalie a proposal that she could not refused.
I can not wait to dive in next book in the series!

Ok so I was able to read up until book 5. They get worse as they go along. Life is just skimmed over and the sex starts to get weirder and shorter. I looked over book 6 and gave up. Went straight to the ending just out of curiosity. I mean there’s only so much sex you can take with no plot. Even well written intimate scenes would start to pale.
But it’s all free on KU. It filled a gap while I figured out what book I was going to pour my soul into next.

I liked the story but honestly I am not the biggest fan of the two MCs. Tanner is a bit over the top in ways that are just no good, and Natalie just kind of goes along with it. I will continue the series but at times the writing was not the greatest, but the sex was hot.

Naked Submission continues the story of Tanner and Natalie.
Natalie is accepted to design school in New York, and while out one day has what appears to be a chance meeting with Tanner in a clothing store. As if no time has passed, Tanner quickly re-engages, with Natalie, manipulating information, and situations so that they are together. We learn that Tanner is rather wealthy; selective of whom he associates with, generous, extremely controlling, and jealous.
Under Tanner’s guidance, Natalie’s sexual appetite blossoms, as she openly embraces the kinkier side of Tanner’s obsession for her. Surprised by her enjoyment of the nontraditional sex, Natalie develops as much of a need for Tanner that he has for her.
Although Natalie knows that she is being manipulated by Tanner in many ways, she embraces her desire to please him sexually, but fights to maintain her independence, and desire to become a fashion designer.
In control of the situation, Tanner makes Natalie an offer…one that if she plays her cards right will be a win win for all parties involved, getting Natalie real life exposure to the fashion world, and closer to her dream of becoming a designer.
This installment is a bit edgier, darker, and dips into the current trend of BDSM lite in romance novels. We learn more of Tanner’s back story, and see how insecure he really is.
The author continues to provide an enjoyable storyline, and I’m sure many will want to draw the parallels to themes, characters and events found other “trendy” novels within this genre. To this I can only say let this storyline stand on its own merits, the authors writing style, and the actual plot.
Again I have purchased the next novella before finishing this one to keep the story going.

I just took a time out to share my excitement with you readers. I am so hooked on this story! Tanner is luscious and always in control. Unable to commit or feel love, he thinks. He is so taken by Natalie to the point of obsession. Natalie is not far behind, except she is all love and innocence offering him with her gift of deep love, passion, and understanding.

Naked Submission continues the story of Natalie's and Tanner's relationship. As with the first book, it moves at a fast pace, and if possible, the sex scenes are even STEAMIER!!! In fact, the reader gets to see exactly what Tanner's tastes in the bedroom are. You also get to see a bit into Tanner's past.
I really enjoyed this book, but I have to say there were times I wanted to yell, scream, hit, and shake them both!!! I was so angry with Tanner when he took his rage at his stepmother out on Natalie, and I could have shaken her when she took him back so easily. I wanted to say, "Girl, get a life! Find somebody worthy of you!" However, I do realize that served the purpose of getting Tanner to open up to Natalie about his past. When a writer gets a reader to have emotions towards his or her characters, then they have been successful!
I would like to see more of the relationship Natalie has with her family, especially her mother, since she is so ill. I do like the direction Jazzy and Ellis are going. Might we see more of that in the future?
My favorite thing about Emily's writing is both characters' points of view. She incorporates it flawlessly in her writing...not separate chapters about each of them. It seems more natural this way. You are never guessing how Natalie and Tanner feel about one another. Looking forward to the next one!

Natalie is now in New York with Tanner. She's excited for design school to start and for her relationship with Tanner to develop. Life is perfect.
Natalie soon realizes that Tanner wants her to submit to him completely. But can she? Natalie is an independent woman and will do anything to keep control. She realizes how domineering and jealous Tanner can be when the day arrives to register for school. She goes to Milan and has a great time, relishing in Tanner's spoils.
When they get home she gets a visit from the one person who feels jilted by Tanner's father. The events that follow after that make her wonder if this who she really wants and can she be what he needs. Should she accept the carefully thought out proposal and create a life with him while doing what she came to New York for? Or should she cut her losses and get away while she can?
Again, I feel like this has a Fifty Shades feel to it, yet it's different. I can't wait to read more and find out how Natalie will handle the lifestyle that Tanner presents her with. I'm also waiting for Tanner to admit that he loves her. Maybe in book 3....
This book does contain BDSM scenes but the author has superbly written them to convey a gentle and loving relationship between the characters.

I read this in a day. I am enjoying these novellas by this author. Unlike the first book "Dark Desire" this gets right into it and moves quickly along in building up the relationship, introducing new characters, a trip to Milan (Fashion capital), a job for Natalie. Its still similiar to FSOG (what book isn't these days), but the female is a little different in that she is standing up for herself a little and having a little more backbone than the FSOG character. Although this doesn't stop the billionaire, Tanner, from going after and getting what he wants, which is definitely Natalie. Natalie is introduced into more of Tanner's kinky sex world and she is surprised at how much she has adapted to it without even thinking about it. Natalie is determined that she and Tanner will have more than a sexual relationship. There are more descriptive sexy, sexy, hot sex scenes in this book.
In this book we are also introduced to the step-mother of Tanner, who diklikes him and is bitter because he inherited his father's kingdom. She immediately trys to damage the relationship for Tanner. I'm sure we be hearing more from her in the future.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

This book continues on from the first book Dark Desire, and again the story moves a fast pace showing the quickly changing relationship between Natalie and Tanner.
Again Tanner is all about control and when faced with the truth about his past which his oh so pleasant stepmother confessed to Natalie he does the only thing he knows how and uses sex as a punishment trying to get Natalie to heed his warning that he is not good for her, but again the sensitive caring side is starting to show more! He knows he can't share Natalie with another man, but is he ready for a committed relationship?!
Natalie continues I fall down the down the rabbit hole that is Tanner and the sexual experiences that he is presenting her with. She finds herself increasingly aroused by the various methods of heightening her sexual pleasure, the taboo topic of bdsm! But her feelings are running deeper than she even realised, she knows that Tanner doesn't think he deserves happiness, but could she be the person to convince him?!
Highly recommend this book and look forward to the next in the series!!

I've just recently starting reading books by Emily Jane Trent and I just love love love the way she writes!!!
After seeing reviews that others had written and had criticized the fact that this series is so much like 50 Shades of Gray, I was even more compelled to want to read the Touched By You series. Heck -- a love story is a love story is a love story -- and if you let them, they can all seem like the same thing over and over. But, I think that Emily has written this with a little twist that makes it a love story all of it's own!!!!
With that said -- if you have NOT read Dark Desire - which is the 1st book in the series Touched By You, you really need to read it first. It sets the initial stage and introduces you to Tanner and Natalie. In Naked Submission, we learn a lot more about Tanner and why he has become the way he is. I love the way that the author keeps you interested enough for you to look forward to reading the next book in the series. The romance is HOT HOT HOT in this book and it gets more into the bdsm lifestyle.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is an amazing continuation in the Touched by You series, and I give it 5 stars.
Whether they are in New York, or Milan, Natalie continues to show us that she is a strong individual by standing up to Tanner. Independence notwithstanding, there is a still a part of her that longs to submit to his wishes, allowing him to claim her completely.
Tanner, although wealthy and seriously sexy, he is also extremely jealous and very possessive. Having lunch with an old friend or returning a smile to the waiter are enough to ignite Tanner’s jealousy and push him to the edge. There is a brief glimpse as to why Tanner is the way he is. A revelation told out of spite, by the proverbial wicked step-mother, in hopes of driving a wedge between Tanner and Natalie. However, the end result just tugged at Natalie’s heart strings, making her love him more.
We end with Tanner making an offer to Natalie that she couldn’t refuse.
The question now: Where do we go from here?

In full disclosure, I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review. I would give this book a solid four stars -- it is what it is -- a glorified porno, but it moves the story along.
Natalie is moving along in her relationship with Tanner. Tanner realizes that she does not really need to go to school, but can learn more from him and working in his business. Thus, she sets off to Milan with Tanner to see Tanner's Italian home and workplace.
Again, Natalie and Tanner have sex everywhere and he introduces her to his red room of pain. Seriously, there were so many veiled references to Fifty Shades in this book, it is part of why it did not receive a higher rating from me. I normally don't mind copy cat books, but this one was too striking.
And not just vanilla sex or light BDSM, Tanner binds Natalie to chaise and F**KS her. Japanese bondage rope type binding. OMG. (There was a star added for that little scene.)
I am looking forward to finding out what happens with Natalie and Tanner. Ms. Trent, thanks for the book!

I really want to give this book 5 stars but I am beginning to think this is going to be where the series is just carried on and the books are not going to be very long. I really enjoyed this book, it was fast paced and I really enjoy that! however when I looked up the next book I see where there are quite a few left, I read some of the reviews & it looks like I'm right, all the books look to be 2.99 & they don't seem very long. as good as they are, I think I will pass. I don't mind buying books but if you are going to do books like this then put them in a box set for your customers. as much as we do support our authors I personally don't like buying short books at these prices. there are too many authors that are good who do give us good deals or do the boxed sets when there are a series of their books.
I love the books and I'm just giving a suggestion bc I won't personally buy all of them & I see some others won't either.

Natalie and Tanner are back for more.
Natalie is about to start school and is finishing up the last minute details such as registration. when Tanner calls her upset that she had lunch with her best friend who is also a guy she realizes that Tanner is having her followed and is doing things that she should be doing on her own. Tanner is turning out to be obsessive, possessive, overly protective as well as overly jealous.
He doesn't want Natalie talking to any other males because he sees how beautiful she is and knows that any male in their right mind would want her, but he wants her for himself. He wants to her to submit to him, and he'll use any method of "punishment" to get her to submit to him.

Natalie is about to start school and is finishing up the last minute details such as registration. when Tanner calls her upset that she had lunch with her best friend who is also a guy she realizes that Tanner is having her followed and is doing things that she should be doing on her own. Tanner is turning out to be obsessive, possessive, overly protective as well as overly jealous.

Great story. I give it a 4+. The story continues from book 1. I don't even know where to begin without spoiling it. Tanner is jealous of every male she talks too even her friend Ellis. He has body guards following her. Natty is a strong independent woman and stands up to him. Natty can only approach her roommate for advice regarding Tanner. She misses her sister and mom. She goes to fashion week in Millan with Tanner. In this sorry you meet Tanner ex and his evil step mom and a little history of his past. Tanner introduces Natty to his playroom and bdsm. He offers her an opportunity that she can't refuse. The sex scenes was amazing. Keep in mind pearls. I can't wait for the next one. Emily thank you for the read.

Still not a fan
I purchased book 1 and 2 as a set otherwise I'm not sure I would have continued on after finishing book 1. Natalie is still a weak, self deprecating woman who drives me nuts with her inability to live her own life. Tanner is still a major asshole who is maybe trying to work out his issues (?) but isn't really trying all that hard. Finally, the writing isn't bad other than the lack of detail. I feel like every chapter I read is a summary of what actually happens in the real chapter. It's just missing a lot. I haven't decided if I'll move on to book 3. I tend to finish books series even if I don't like them to see where the storyline goes but at $2.99 for each novella I'm not sure it's worth the investment.

I like this book, but I have to say there were times I was asking myself have I read about it before? I know the main plot.
Natalie is a weak person with her inability to live on her own life. She is pure and innocent. And Tanner is man asshole who wants to live with all his freak rules. Of course he is domineering businessman, strong and powerful. I really must have read about those type of men before. Of course !!! On the market there are a lot of book about that kind of relationship !!!! And this one is not you must read. It is not bad but still I feel nothing surprise me.
Ending my opinion, writing this is not my favorite type and I feel like every chapter has lack of details and we lose a lot of this story.

Received book in exchange for an honest review.
I love this series. In the first book, it seemed like the characters were well thought and the scenes were as well. In this book, the second in the series, it surpasses that marker left by the first. The two main characters are so troubled and yet so normal that the two make a perfect disaster. I had been searching for a long time for a series that could keep my interest and finally have it. The author has made great effort at creating this love story from events in the story and it keeps the reader hooked. The best descriptions I've seen have been in this series. I totally recommend this series it's really great! Can't wait for book3!!!!

I loved that the cover of pearls had relevance to the novel!
One of the things I really love about this series is that Natalie, the hereon is a STRONG character, she is in no way the quite little mousey pushover we have been seeing in so many books lately!
I really enjoyed seeing more into Tanners past.
To see where he has come from, is to see how much he has grown. I'm looking forward to seeing his development throughout the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed the second installment in the Touched by You series compelling, hot, sexy romance. We continue where we left off in Dark Desire as Natalie and Tanner really start to spend time together and grow this new relationship which involves spending time together in Milan. We get more back story on Tanner in this installment which really helps Natalie solidify her connection to Tanner. Natalie also continues to demonstrate her quiet strength which gets tested/pushed by Tanner. Curious where these two are headed and how Tanner will face/come to terms with his demons. Looking forward to continuing this series.

Good read, but...
So I picked up the first book, and the characters pulled me in. I liked it, but didn't love it. I picked up the second book, and it was good as well. I like the story line, and would like to know what happens with Natalie and Tanner, but honestly, once I learned there were over 10 books in the series, and the rest of them are 2.99 each, it's not worth it to me. I've read each of these books in under two hours, and while it's a decent read, it's not something I absolutely have to know the end of, especially for over $30. If the books go on sale, or get offered in some sort of lower prices bundle, I'll pick it up.

I really liked the continuity of this series! It picked up in speed. This book gave more insight to the story and developed Tanner more. I like how it is progressing although I think Natalie tends to conform to him fast but understanding everything he gives her and how she was raised, I understand.
For those questioning whether to read on from the first book, I encourage you to keep going. Great book! On to the next, what's going to happen?

I was given this book by the author for an honest review...
First of all I give this book 3.5 stars. I'm liking the storyline better and it's beginning to take it's own story than being close to Fifty Shades. I wish Natalie didn't give in too easily with Tanner, but I guess that's what happens when you're in love. I like that we're beginning to understand Tanner more in this book. The communication between the two characters have greatly improved. I'm looking forward to see what is in store with Natalie and Tanner.

Did Natalie believe everything that she saw or what people told her about Tanner ? Could she be his submissive when she really wasn't sure what it entailed ? From there trip to Milan to his proposed arrangement, could she or he survive a secret he was not willing to say ? Would he hurt her and make her run and need at some point to go HOME to see her Mom or use her safe word ? The answer is YES to all of the above ! There was so much in the installment i couldn't put the book down but is her love enough for them to survive ? I hope so and hope that he realizes that he loves her too !

Can Natalie completely submit? As an independent woman can she give over all of her control to this hot , domineering, billionaire? Book 2 has really kept me on the edge of my seat. I haven't wanted to put the book down. We learned a lot more about our dominate Tanner and why he's this way. Aware that she wants intimacy Natalie finds herself engaging more and more into Tanner's kinky sex styles and seems to be adapting without thinking about it. She has found her darker side. Is dark what she really wants? I can't wait to see what happens next!!!

Received this for an honest review...Tanner and Natalie's story is getting more exciting for me! Loved it! He is a true Alpha male and I love every min of it, but he could be so sweet too! We learned more about Tanner and his past and I can understand why Tanner is the way he is. Glad that Natalie told Tanner her feelings and that Tanner didnt freak out. He handled it in a way that you don't expect with a lot of alpha males. It was sweet! Can't wait to see where this is leading!!!

I received a copy for an honest review. I like the progression of Tanner and Natalie's relationship in this part of the series. Natalie is learning more and more about her sexuality. Tanner is obsessed with her and seems to be developing feelings for this seemingly innocent girl. Natalie learns more about Tanner's dark past from his stepmother. The girl loves him so much she can't walk away. Though the story's progressing nicely some parts seem forced and stiff.

Naked Submission is a great follow up to Dark Desire.
I was glad to read more on Tanners past and the introduction of Gabriella.
Also I am glad that Natalie's character has remained strong. That she is still willing to stand up to him and also challenge him as their feelings for each other become stronger.
Overall I am enjoying the series and I am looking forward to reading the next instalment!
