This book draws on basics not taught in it, too close to what the book aims to teach in the first place. It seems rather useless to me.

Between Singapore math and arious sticker books she already had the concepts of 1-30 down pretty well. But this is a good way to practice writing the numbers to get the shapes in while still learning more. It surprises me that with all the different ways to memorize learning how to write numbers, the most common way in other books is to write the same digit 10 times with no spaced repetition or review.

The difference between this time and Vader's iteration is that we are going to wait probably 3 months before starting in on 1-120, so that we can get further into the Kindergarten Singapore math curriculum, i.e. KB, where counting higher numbers is actually quite useful.
