"The story is solid and the romantic conflict engaging, and the erotic moments practically set the pages on fire." Publishers Weekly

Epic and his brothers don’t rob strip clubs for fun or fame, but to use the electronic currency to take care of their family. With androids and robots flooding the job market, it’s almost impossible for humans to find work. Besides, stealing comes easy to the gang, until Phoenix steps into their lives, snatching away their bounty and fogging up Epic’s mind with her seductive scent.

Shots blare. A chase ensues. Both sides refuse to yield. And the small compromise that comes is brought by chains and a promise for a bigger hit—on a planet far away from earth.

Can Epic and Phoenix work together to rescue themselves from poverty? Or will they find another type of redemption, one lathered in lust and warmth, pleasure, and the type of undemanding love that no human can live without?

I am SO FLIPPING excited that I got to beta read this book. This is my 1st book by Kenya and my 5th from Dara. These two ladies definitely top my favorites list. I have never read a cyber erotica novel before and it was fucking awesome!!! I was anxious to find out which author was the voice of the two main characters and I was right! I have always loved the way the Dara writes her characters and she compliments Kenya's so beautifully. I love how Kenya's was a bit more gritty and rough around the edges.

My favorite line from the book was "You own me" WHAT?!?! It was so hot...I just about creamed myself. I always had a hard time reading erotica because it was too much sex and not enough storyline. That was not the case with this one. Hot Redemption was an adrenaline firecracker from hell...and I do mean that in a good way. A genius concept with enough heat to make you squirm and sweat in your seat.

Phoenix is the type of female lead that I love because she doesn't take shit from anyone. Who the fuck wants to read about whiney, indecisive chicks anyway? We'd get along great if I only she could get over me trying to steal Epic ;-)....but that wouldn't end well for me lol

I wish I could give this a million stars and then some but I can't...they'll have to settle for 5 and me continuing to stalk them LOL

Rating: 4.5
Hero: 4.5
Heroine: 4 (would have gave her 4.5 if she wasn't so rough on my man)
Secondary Characters: 4.5
Steamyness: 4.5
Storyline/Plot: 4.5
Emotional: 3.5
Genre: Futuristic/Erotic
Cover: 3.5 (the model is to robotic, wish it looked like Nix)
Clifffy: No

I haven't read a Futuristic type book in quiet awhile but I was so very pleasantly surprised by this book. Not only was it HOT AS SIN but it was funny and action packed all wrapped up in a very interesting plot. The futuristic world building even in this short of a book was so vivid I could picture everything perfectly. The characters where realistic, very raw and unapologetic which made the story even better.

Epic was freakin amazing!! He was sexy, foul mouthed, loving and even a little broken. I couldn't get enough of this man. He done what he had to to take care of his family and didn't care what anyone thought.

Nix was badass, take no shit, and maybe even a little crazy..lol She had learned early in life not to rely on anyone but yourself. She was determined to make a better life for herself at ANY cost.

"No one's ever not alone. The only person you can ever really count on is yourself."

I also loved Epic's family. Shade was sexy and cracked me the hell up. Toy was a little mysterious and quiet. While we only got small glimpse of his other brothers and sisters they gave the story heart. I really would love to see more from this family and maybe see Shade & Toy get some love..lol

"Don't do it, Epic." Shade waved his hands from side to side. "That kitty has claws and is definitely going to scratch the shit out of you."

Overall this book made me laugh, smoked up my Kindle and kept me hooked to the very end. The ONLY thing I have to complain about is that I wish we would have seen a little more closure at the end with the whole family. The writing duo that makes up K.D. Penn done an amazing job with this story and I really hope to see more from them in the future and more from this family.

Holy fuuuuuuuuu…… Once again my head is blown by the sheer awesomeness that is DT Dyllin. I’m really beginning to think that this woman’s literary pen vomits awesome. And as an added bonus she is accompanied by Kenya Wright, this may be the first time I have read any of Kenya’s work but after this I can guarantee it wont be the last. I have just devoured this and I am struggling to put down in words what I am thinking/feeling, so I’m gonna have to leave it and comeback to it once I have had a chance to let it all sink in.

The romance and sexiness aside I have never read anything like this before. The whole ‘cyber erotica’ label put me off in the same way that ‘steam punk’ does. Don’t ask me why because I honestly don’t know. The only reason I read this was because Dara was involved. I straight up love this womans writing, I have loved everything she has written so far and I had no reason to doubt this would be any different. And I wasn’t wrong.

This book grabs you by the seat of your pants and drags you into the action from the very first chapter. Unlike several ‘erotica’ stories there is an actual story to this book but there is also a lot of romance and sexy bits. “My dick pressed against my pants – hard, long and ready - ” when a book begins like this I dare you to try to walk away. Never before have I been blown away by the ‘not sex’ in a book before, so many authors would have thrown you in to a full on sexual encounter at the first opportunity, not these two. Instead they give you an intense sexual experience that makes you squirm in your seat at the sheer sexiness of it all without going for all out penetration. But don’t despair the all out penetration will come.

Penn have given us believable characters with flaws. Two characters who are broken by their pasts and trying to make their futures brighter. Will they be able to fix each other?

I don’t read a lot of erotica. In fact, I hadn’t even read one until last year. Science fiction, however, was one of my first book loves, and this fits squarely into my comfort zone. Space travel, aliens, futuristic technology; it’s got it all! It’s also dystopian, so deliciously gritty. The combination of genres makes for major world building. The authors don’t take a lot of time explaining everything you need to know. They just throw you in there and you learn on the fly. I love this! I don’t like it when an author assumes I’m not intelligent enough to figure things out for myself.

There is no doubt that it’s well written. Penn is a great combination of authors, creating a perfect balance of sweet and sexy. And the sex is smokin’ hot! It’s not all about sex though. As far as erotica goes, I was actually really impressed that the plot was as detailed and complex as the characters! Even the secondary characters are distinct, and I was almost sad that there weren’t more scenes with them. The brotherly banter between Epic and his bros is hilarious.

At first I thought it was going to be a “happily ever after” kind of ending, but as I got further into the story, I kept having flashes of Bonnie and Clyde, and Thelma and Louise. I won’t tell you which way it went, but the point is that I was left guessing, right up until the last pages. There was nothing predictable about this story. I can easily recommend this for both sci-fi and erotica lovers!

A copy of this book was provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Hot Redemption was AWESOME. I loved it. The universe and the characters were unique for me, and that made the story so much better.

Epic, both of his parents are dead and he has to take care of his brothers and sisters (lots of them). They're really poor and so he decides, with two of his brothers, to rob strip clubs. Phoenix is actually a stripper, she needs money too and she knows that three brothers are robbing clubs. She then decides to rob them... After that, basically, Epic and his brothers, Shade and Toy, are going after her, they find her pretty quickly and they take her and the money back with them, Epic wants her something fierce.

Let's talk about the characters:
Epic was just perfect. He was my favorite. I was kinda disappointed at the beginning because he was on drugs and I have issues with drugs addicts, but that problem was resolved pretty fast and I was glad for that. Epic is badass and very alpha-male, you know, but at the same time he cares so much about his brothers and sisters and about his deceased parents. The way his father died was truly awful, and the authors were not afraid of making Epic look vulnerable, he cried a lot, for good reasons, and I loved that about him. Made me want to protect him. He was also very funny and protective (oh and, he has fake eyes, he can take pictures just by focusing on something, that was so cool).

Phoenix was great too, I think I liked Epic better but she was still a very good heroine. Phoenix is really fierce, she went through a lot, bad things and she just wants to make money and leave her old life behind. For half the book she's really hard on Epic and his family, especially on Epic, at some point she acts like a bitch but I can understand her motives. I liked her but toward the end she became a little bit crazy (understatement of the year lol).

Their relationship. Well, it was HOT. Lots of great sex. I really liked them together, at the beginning they don't like each other, especially her, she does not like him at all. Him, he just finds her really hot and wants her. It wasn't easy, Phoenix doesn't trust men (because of her past) which is completely understandable, she agrees to stay with Epic and his family just because they have a job for her. She didn't want a relationship with Epic or any kind of relation at all actually but she was still very attracted to him. Epic didn't make it very easy for her, he wanted her and he made no secret of it.

When they finally got together... that was really great. It was not rushed and together, they were so much stronger. Even though they didn't know each other for a very long time, the authors did an amazing job. I mean, their love felt real to me.

Definitely a great book. It made me cry and laugh (a lot), especially Shade, OH MY GOD, this guy is unbelievable. There's this scene where Phoenix sees Shade's dick and it's just hilarious. I don't know if it's going to have a sequel but I really hope so, I'd like to read more of Epic's brothers and his family in general. Maybe have Shade's or Toy's story!

The ending of Hot Redemption was nice but I was hoping for something more maybe... It's not sad, we have a great HEA, but yeah, I'd really like a sequel to find out what's going to happen to Epic's family.

I am typically a reader of paranormal/fantasy books, so I was a little hesitant about reading this book. Yes, I know...I am the one who signed up for the review. But, I am trying to expand my horizons a little bit and decided to try Erotica. Man, am I glad I did!!

The story is about Epic and Nix and Epics family. May I first say that...LUM LUM LUM!!! I am totally in love with him!! *clears her throat* Anyway, Epic and his brothers pull off heists in the strip clubs and are planning their biggest heist yet. Nix, a dancer at the strip club, gets pulled in along the way and the relationship is all over the place. Epic is such an amazing character. His eyes are artificial so they can take pictures and even double as flashlights!! Nix is a woman who knows what she wants an will not stop until she gets it. She is feisty and sexy and all around the kind of person I wish I was *wink wink...in case there really is a man named Epic and he is reading my fantabulous review*

Since I don't read a whole lot of Erotica, I was unsure about the sex scenes, but I really don't know why! They were steamy and wet and made the read so much more enjoyable! The whole scene on the hovercraft reminds me of my ultimate fantasy to be thrown naked onto a 1979 Ford Mustang...mmmmm...ooops!! Better get back to my review!!

Things go a little awry during the big heist. I liked this because stories shouldn't be just about sex and sexy men. Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with that, but I like a little adventure, cataclysm, or action in my books. It is what keeps me interested. So, needless to say, I stayed interested :)

Kenya Wright and D.T. Dyllin have done an excellent job with this book. It was fun, sexy, and erotic; all things needed in this genre of book. Hats off to a job well done. 5 out of 5 stars.

This book is seriously HOT! The sexual desires that run through these pages is spicy as hell! The romance is like a dirty, raw, unfiltered amazing thing of mastery. These two authors together is not something you want to miss! I really hope they decide to write together again because it's not often a duo is so great at putting together a book where the writing is so in tuned with each other it actually makes the book better! Great job to the authors in that aspect.

For me this book had not one boring moment and I seriously swooned for the hotness that is Epic and Nixie. I couldn't get enough of these two and had to keep turning the pages to see where it would take me! I have one word: MOTORCYCLE. *ahem* Any girl that doesn't want to ride on Epic's motorcycle after reading this may well be missing out on some pure sexual ecstasy! LOL I want to know where I can get a motorcycle like Epics!

It's not all just pure sex in there too. There's that touch of romance that makes you root for these two. They are both fighting for something in this life and they were just derailed by a love that came unexpected. So with all the things thrown at them they have to come to terms that they may need to alter their life plans because love like this doesn't come around more then once! But between that and the escaping, lying, and thieving going on will they ever get there?

I do have to note that this book is set in futuristic setting with a definite Sci-fi setting. Makes it so much better! I'm so glad to have read something so out of the box and new that it had me excited to read again! Thank you for that! Please let there be more from these two! I give this book my thumbs up!

Every time I get a book from Kenya Wright, half of this book's awesome dynamic duo, I get giddy! Wonder Twin powers activate! Form of, book that just made my top 10 list!! #True story/straight face. Kenya is such a talented writer! I look forward to seeing much more from her. Thank you for thinking of me! If this book is anything to go by, I will most definitely be reading more from D.T. Dyllin as well.

I love that the characters of this book are fun, fresh, real, steamy, shhheckshaaaaay, a tad dysfunctional and their story wittily written. As a Sci-Fi geek, I dig the world that this book is set in. It’s futuristic but not over the top. All I can say is *snicker* Shade. Want to know what I'm talking about? Read the book! You won't be disappointed. =)

In a genre where everything has been done to death and then once more for good measure, originality is greatly appreciated. This book is definitely a page turner! I couldn't wait to see where the story was taking me next. I even loved the ending. (I'd like to take this moment to bring your attention to something that is near and dear to my heart. Please join me in my fight to eradicate cliff hangers. They are ruining my life!! Feel free to sign my petition to stop the spread of this horrible disease. Any by sign, I mean start. Thank you.) Normally, I have a “what the H?” moment when I reach the end of a book due to unanswered questions or wonky side plots that fell short, but not this time. Yaaay! A great read from beginning to end, Hot Redemption should grace every one's "to read" list. Now that the excitement is over, I guess I'll go to sleep. *lip poked out* Maybe even go to work in the morning. Oh reality, you’re SO disrespectful! LOL.

I received this book as part of a blog tour to give an honest review.

When I first got this book and started reading it I was like wait am I dealing with robots? But that so wasn't the case. Now I have to say the cover does look hot, but if that is meant to be Nixie well that was so not how I pictured her lol.

But on to the story. You have sex, a really hot guy, more sex, robberies hell it is more like your future Bonnie and Clyde type book but with a really hot chick and guy! Hell just the main characters name Epic just sounds hot and sexy!

You have three brothers and of course their other siblings and they of course are taking care of them. Well they are robbing from the rich and helping the poor which is their selves, in the middle of all this Epic just happens to fall for Nixie in the middle of the heist! Little known to both of them at the time they have some hard core feelings going on. Epic is one of those guys that seem to hard on the outside but is just a terrific, caring, soft guy on the inside. Epic and Nix both have problems and they both help each other get through them.

Now I have to say the way the sex was portrayed man oh man got me wanting to do things with the hubby lol. I do have to admit I liked imagining Shade's beaded dick! Just saying who would have thought something like that up. If you are looking for a quick and sexy read that has a bit to do in the future then you HAVE to get yourself a copy of this.

My Favorite quote made my Shade (even though you don't read much about him) "I'm sorry for threatening you with my guns and showing you my ... special beaded guy."

Hot Redemption is one hot read. Holy FIZZ is this book one of the most erotic fantasy read I have ever read. I mean who wouldn't love humans VS machine and the whole dynamics of it. It was an easy and fast pace read that had me at the edge of my seat wondering why it ended so soon. Man I needed more and wanted more because Phoenix and Epic's journey was amazing!

Epic and his brothers rob strip clubs for a living. They don't have much of a choice because they need the money to take care of their family. They don't want to steal but with the androids and the robots taking over they have no choice. It is almost impossible to get a job because the androids and the robots are taking all the jobs. So the gang steals in order to provide for their family. Then Epic meets Phoenix and things start to change.

Phoenix like Epic and will do anything to keep him. Can Epic and Phoenix have a life together? Can they escape the poverty they live in? Can any good come from the bad that has been going on?

This is one hot erotic book that will draw you in to a new world where the androids and robots rule and the humans have to figure out how to survive. Can you imagine living in a world where you are inferior to others? You are the minority race? Come along for the ride of a lifetime and read about Epic and Phoenix and the journey that awaits them.

Since I give all of my books five stars this one is to be no exception. Although one might argue since I only wrote only half of it that I should maybe give it two and a half stars and Kenya two and a half and then... Well that's just ridiculous and I'm not going to bother to continue with that line of thought. It gets FIVE STARS from me! End of story! :D

I first saw the cover to this book months ago, and loved it immediately. So when I heard there were review copies up for grabs, I was like, YES PLEASE! They sent me a copy and I'm happy to say I really liked it! But I didn't expect anything less from K.D. Penn (D.T. Dyllin and Kenya Wright). I've read some of their work previously and enjoyed it, so I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed.

The characters. Loved every single one of them. From Epic and Phoenix, to the little bad ass kids Epic just happens to be related to, they were great. Their lives are by no means perfect. In fact, everything is pretty shitty for the characters. Epic and his fellow criminal brothers, Shade and Toy, rob the rich to take care of the brats they have as siblings. This might make me a bad person (like I give a shit) but I think they were totally justified in their actions. After you learn more about their parental situation, you'll be like, "Oh yeah. Rob all they asses!"

I really liked Epic. He's one of those dudes with half a heart of gold, half a heart of fuck-you-up. And that's not all that's up with his heart. Take his kindness for weakness and he'll chain you to a bed. Literally. Phoenix had to find this out the hard way. She was pretty awesome herself. After trying to double cross the brothers and failing miserably, she ends up being sucked into their family and life of crime. I also thought the things she did were justifiable as well, though I did get the "crazy bitch"vibe from her. And not in a good way. Read the book and find out what I mean.

The attraction between Epic and Phoenix is instant, but it's not all steam and orgasms right off the bat. Penn makes our lovebirds work for it and the pay off is well worth the wait, for the readers as well. The love scenes were spicy and raw and there's no doubt in our minds that these two were made to do the nasty.

I can't forget about the world-building. Nicely done! I loved the futuristic world Penn created. It wasn't overly done, but it provided just enough imagery so I actually felt like the story was taking place in another time period but I could easily visualize what was going on. The ending was a little rushed to me and I wasn't really satisfied with the way it all went down and the sacrifices that had to be made. You'll understand when you read it. It's the only reason I couldn't give this one five stars.

Nevertheless, this was a great book. It was fast and exciting, and I definitely recommend it to romance lovers. This is my first cyberpunk romance, but I can tell you now, any that follow will have a hell of a time impressing me. Way to get it, ladies.

Penn paints a frightening future for earth though not dark enough to truly be called dystopian. A cautionary tale. Alien races and artificial intelligence abound and live side by side with humans. Africa is overrun with trash (an international dump) and buses of school children are brought in to witness what happens when foresight is not employed. Extreme poverty leads people to kill themselves to support their families with insurance payouts. People who are attractive enough to do so, trade their bodies for security. Drugs are easy to come by, and addicts are everywhere.

Epic, our lead male character, is one such addict. He was blinded and as a result has artificial eyes. Epic used those eyes when he watched in horror as his father killed himself to give a better life to those left behind. To cope with his daily life, Epic turned to Quake, a mind-altering drug that one is hooked on from first taste. Phoenix suffers her own demons. Her father brutalized her in the name of religion and a man she loved, cared about and trusted was horribly violent with her. She seems to blame the Quake to which the boyfriend was addicted but she’s determined never to trust another man and especially not another addict.

That the authors collaborated on sub-plots and background characters is clear in the homogenous nature. Make no mistake; the main plot is the attraction between the two main characters. I believe for that reason this novel lands in the erotica genre. There’s a lot of sexual tension and teasing without a lot of sex. The secondary plotlines and characters are interesting and well laid out but never expanded. I would have liked to see more of the teen sister who is a genius with machines or perhaps more planning and exposition when it came to the heists but the real true point of the story was when the main characters would get naked and if it would work out when they did because these are truly damaged people and no road is ever easy.

In the end, post “50 Shades of Grey” this novel has a vast audience. Readers who get a thrill out of voyeurism without getting too kinky. I do commend the authors on the risk of making the alpha male an addict as that put a spin on his character but then also made clear that Nix was going to be an addiction which to some degree she recognizes.

If you like erotica, near future fiction or are interested in the psychology of addiction, “Hot Redemption” is the novel for you. Look for it to come out sometime in December of this year.

This book went from 0 to 60 in 2.5 pages and never looked back. Epic is the eldest of 10 brothers and sisters, just trying to provide for all those hungry mouths to feed he turns to robbing strip club patrons of their electronic currency and this last hit he and his brothers are planning could take care of them for the rest of their lives. Nix A.K.A Phoenix is a little crazy and whole lot broken when these guys walked into the club she works at and holds up the joint, until she robs the robbers and makes off with their loot. When Epic and crew track her down through her elaborate tattoo on her back, can they convince her to join them on their last heist? And can Epic and Nix resist the attraction they both feel towards each other?

These characters were just plain awesome. Nix was my favorite because of her back story mixed with her kick-ass attitude. She has been through so much in her life that she makes you want to burst into tears when you learn about it, but still give her a fist bump when she kicks someones ass. Nix has that great balance of vulnerability, because clearly her parents and Teddy made her crack, but still holds that edgy gritty persona that make a character like hers a perfect match from someone like Epic. He is the yin to Nix's yang, someone forced into being the tough guy but has a heart hidden beneath all that sexy that is gold. He also has his issues, but at the end of the day everything he is doing is for his family and you can't hate a guy like that. Which is why Nix can not leave him be even if she thinks she should. She is scared of what might become with Epic, but that's okay because it gives him a chance to prove his worth of love.

The world in this book is just ridiculous. I wanted to know so much more about the universe these people live in because it isn't just an Earth that has been laid waste in, but there are these hints of greater cosmic entities like The Duchess of Light. Who is she? Why is she ruling the galaxy? There is so much I wanted to find out about everything in this world, there couldn't possibly be enough pages to talk about it. However, what we did read was well worth the time to read this book. Hot Redemption is the hot and sexy version of Bonnie and Clyde taking on the galaxy that was just pure fun and drama.

I had to think about this review for a few days before writing it down. Every time I thought about Hot Redemption, I flipped flopped between a 3 and 4 star rating. I finally settled on a 3.5. Normally, I would upgrade the rating to 4 stars but I had some reservations. I get to my reservations at the end of the review. This novella is written by D.T. Dyllin and Kenya Wright. I'm not familiar with D.T. Dyllin but I'm a huge fan of Kenya Wright and pretty much read anything she puts out. After this book though I need to check out D.T.

The Good:
The world building was done the right way. It gave me enough so I can picture the world but didn't overdue it. Sometimes this hard to do in sci-fi books but it's a novella so the authors had to do it quickly.

I loved the diversity of characters. Every single person brought something to the story. I wanted to know more about the family unit. How they survive before and after the deaths of their parents; how old everyone was; what they did when not being criminals.

Epic was the perfect alpha character. Brawn and brains with a heart of gold. He's no where near perfect but that's ok. Phoenix is that crazy girlfriend that you have warn people about before introducing them to each other. She's cunning and beautiful and most important dangerous. Of course, Epic and Phoenix fall in love, almost too quickly.

The Okay:
The plot. The first half of the book was this nice build up. Everything was done right. The second half of the book seemed rushed especially the ending.

The Bad:
I wanted more sci-fi! I could see this book being the first of many in a sci-fi series. I think having Epic and Phoenix as romantic couple actually hurt this book. Now, don't get me wrong they are a hot couple and I love some sexy stuff but it wasn't needed.

I kinda wish the ending didn't happened. Just seemed so cliche.

Overall, I liked the book.

This story has a solid plot and it is Scorching Hot!!

I received an e-ARC copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review. I have never read anything cyberpunk before, so this is new genre territory for me as it is also my first time reading the writing of these two authors. Thanks Dragonfairy Press for introducing me to K. D. Penn.

I FREAKEN LOVED IT ALL! The characters, the sci-fi techie world, and the sexually graphic scenes. The combined writing styles of these two Awesome and Amazing Authors is a well made match, in my opinion.... THEY NAILED IT! I look forward to reading more from them.

What an awesome story line - trying to survive in a world where humans are struggling to find work because the androids and robots are taking the jobs from them, add in the cyberpunk techie atmosphere--which I really like, and the HOT SEXUAL CONTENT!! ICE WATER STAT please?

You get hot redemption but, is the right kind? Is it all physical and lustful, or does it produce real value on the other end?

The characters are absolutely vibrant, unique and well developed right down to their names. I Love the dialoque between Epic and Phoenix, sarcastic, honest, and humorous-- even their inner dialogue is entertaining as one learns more about the other and themselves.

Phoenix is one BADASS, Hawt, sexy female lead. Inner strength and self-preservation exude from her as she grabs life by the horns.

Epic, he is straight up with what he wants, yet he has his own issues to deal with, protective of his family and of Phoenix, and has the passion of a true outlaw! YUMMY!

There are other characters involved within this story that really got my attention - Epic's brothers--oh-my-gosh--they are in a class all of their own.

This is a Cyberpunk Erotic Read 18+ Only! If you are like me and love to read steam mixed with action and emotion, this would be my recommendation.

I normally snicker when people talk about “book boyfriends.” Yeah, well, eating crow now. Epic is my book boyfriend and I will not share! This is my first dip into a cyber/futuristic/erotic tale. I typically steer away from erotic due to no story line and all sexy time. The erotic sexy times were definitely hot and my marriage was greatly improved while I read this book (wink wink). But what really drew me into the story were the damaged pasts, but sweet futures of the main characters.

The world building was great and details made it easy to imagine the worlds Epic and Nix lived in. I totally adored Epic’s family (especially the three little cretins- his three twin sisters), and my heart broke with the sacrifices his parents made. Epic is struggling to keep his family afloat and eventually off planet to a better future. Robbing strip clubs with his brothers has been frugal and in one of their robberies, Nix pops in and steals the show. Literally. Nix was a take no crap heroine who is both likeable and totally insane. I wanted them to succeed in their illegal Robin Hood capers.

The attraction and banter between the main characters is electric. The action is non-stop from the beginning. I loved the switching between character’s viewpoints. Some authors fail to transition between different viewpoints, but these differing voices in the story made it all the better.

Read the book but keep your hands off Epic. He’s mine!

HOTTTTT, is the perfect thing to put in this title!
Hot Redemption is/was so much more than what i expected, not normally a fan of sci-fi type novels i was apprehensive on how i would like this book to my norms.
It exceeded my expectations!

You follow the story of Epic, his family and an independent woman named Pheonix.

Epic and Nix are damaged souls attempting to make their way around the planets with their heads above water and their hearts in tact. Each with their own past that shapes who they've become, the story follows their present and where their future will take them.

K.D. Penn combined put together such an inspiring story on love, lost, addiction, fear and the thin line between right and wrong.

Learning about the family, triplets, Shades rod and an over protected sister, you cant help but want more.

I enjoyed Epic and Nix, they have a very love and hate relationship. My heart constantly goes out to Epic as the head of the family and brains behind "family business", he was never given the chance to be a kid and enjoy life. Maybe because i understand that world or because KD Penn wrote such a descriptive view for readers to enjoy.

From the first chapter to the last you have chemistry, action, love and a whole lot of sarcasm! lol my favorite combination!

I was given this book for an honest review. First thanks to K. D. Penn for letting me be apart of this amazing journey.
I don't normally read sci-fi books but this one was well worth the read. It was an amazing trip through many planets and a roller coaster ride of great many emotions!
Our story starts with the main character Epic and his family living on a very battered earth, there are more planets that inhabited by other species but on earth is where the morbidly poor live and survive as best they can. Epic and his brothers Shade and Toy, have an interesting way to make their living, you can't help but to be pulled in and enjoy the laughs and fun that they have. The action gets started straight away and the ride is enthralling. When Epic meets Nix the fire burns brighter and hotter than you can imagine. Lets just say that they are made for one another and boy do the sparks fly!!!
I can only say that if you like sci-fi and enjoy lots of action and adventure then this is the book for you!!!!
I sincerely hope that the two amazing women that wrote this will continue and write more of their wonderful stories!

I don't normally read books about the future and living on other planets, but this one caught my eye. I really enjoyed the characters and didn't even mind the setting. The story between Epic and Nix kept me drawn in and the ending was great. I do wish we would have had a little follow up about the other characters at the end, but it didn't take anything away from the book. The story flowed so well I would never have guessed it was written by two authors. They did an amazing job!

Epic was sweet with the right amount of bad boy and Nix was a sassy, broken, edgy girl who knew what she wanted and went for it. She was a little scary too. I would not want to piss her off! Lots of great action both in the bedroom and out. Epic was very HOT and I loved the way Nix could take charge of him. I love to see a strong female lead.

I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.

The story is good and the concept of the story is fresh. I love how the authors brought the setting of the story to life, and made the book easy to understand.

About the story, the concept is fresh and the story was written well. The flow of the story is easy to follow and I enjoyed reading the scenes/parts. The characters are also well written/described. I love the personalities of each characters. They are easy to love and to like. I love how strong each character was, they brought the story to life in a good way that you will definitely feel the story.
The ending of the story is also good, and I'm happy how it ended!

The authors did a great job in this book! Everything is great and really is worth the read!

I had the privilege of editing this book. Now to be totally honest, I don't like all of the books that I edit. Of course that is a given.

BUT, this book IS AMAZING.

Seriously.

I have been a fan of both Kenya Wright and DT Dyllin for awhile now and editing something they wrote together was like a dream come true. The book is fabulous, it's hot, it's dark, and best of all it is set in a futuristic world that the authors make seem so real. I'm not a huge fan of futuristic cyber settings, but this one is amazing. It is so freaking cool that I want to go there.

I highly recommend this book. SO FREAKIN GOOD.

I found Hot Redemption to be a decent satisfying novella. I liked the cyber punk theme quite a bit, but I believe the length prevented me from becoming as invested as I could have. The ending also felt very rushed, but all in all I'd say it delivered as advertised. I'd like to see a full length version with a bit more cyber punk included to make it more well-rounded.

I will read anything that Kenya writes. On her own she knows how to write a smoking paranormal romance, but this team up with D.T. Dyllin shows that she's a great collaborator as well. I've never read any of D.T. Dyllin's works, but I will now. The writing is seamless and I really enjoyed this love story and I hope that there's a part two in the works!

This book is seriously interesting, I thoroughly enjoyed it, more than I though I would. The concept was a great one. It dealt with a lot of social issues in society today even thought its set in the future.

I love the banter between Epic and Nix I laughed out loud so may times.

Epic is just wonderful I loved his character, by no means is he perfect he is a drug addict for one and a criminal. He robs with his brothers to provide for their family after their parent died. He gave up his dream of becoming a musician to take care of his mother who later died in his arms. But above all he has so much love to give he does bad or wrong things but for the right reasons especially when he is left with no other option his hands were forced by situation and circumstances created by the ruling minority.

Nixie has to be one of my favorite Heroines she is spicy farce feisty and most importunately a survivor. Born to strict religious parents they disapproved of everything she did so she left the planet her family settled on to find someone or somewhere where she could be happy. Unfortunately no one told her that the universe is a very big bad place for a young beautiful luscious girl. She was forced to learn the truth the hard way, but she made it out stronger like the saying goes "What does not kill you only make you stringer". Nix is one hell of a badass chick I love her. "I survived. That is the whole point. I survived."~Nix What she went through was truly horrific but somehow the will to survive won out.

After studying Epic and his brothers operation of rubbing clubs she came up with her own plan to rub them in order to get closer to her dream of leaving her s**t hole of a life behind for a better planet where she can find a sugar daddy to take care of her.
But she never planned on getting caught with the gang, Epic in particular.
She challenges him to face his issues and he provides a safe place for her even though she fights him at very turn.

"I can't let this continue I have to get him off my mind. I can't let a man like Epic get into my system any further."~Nix

These two are drawn to each other, they both evoke emotion that runs so much deeper than a physical attraction. She has a goal and all he is meant to be is a means to an end but they keep falling deeper and deeper.
"I love all of Nix, from that smart, bossy mouth down to the marks of her dark past."~Epic
The sex was off this planet scorching, she dominated him

"If she was a drug, I'd lock myself in a dark room and snort her all day"~Epic

I really enjoyed this book it had so much action, intrigued, great sex, angst, romance, pain, and a host of good characters.
I liked the writing but sometimes in some parts it was too long worded, some of the things were not needed and could have been cut but I had a blast reading this crazy epic love story. I will not be forgetting any time soon.

Hmm... 4.5*? I'm torn. I'd like to give this 5*, but some things just rubbed me the wrong way. Afterward, I wanted to shake off the ick.

Okay. First, I am SO not a fan of my partner calling me baby. I can't exactly articulate why, apart from telling you that I'm obviously a grown woman not a cooing baby! But I think there's more to it that I just can't articulate.

Second, although I enjoyed the story quite a bit, I didn't feel that parts of the relationship were very healthy. I'd knock a guy upside his head, if he acted in some of the ways that Epic did. I liked Nix's character, but needless to say they were both greatly flawed people. Maybe that's why the story was so enjoyable?

Despite my quibbles, I'd quickly pick up more stories about these two. What can I say, the authors hooked me! LOL

Loved the idea behind the book just not the execution. Likable characters that were not quite developed enough. A plot that was so enjoyable one minute and then ridiculous the next. (characters state one thing then a page later do the opposite) An ending that was unbelievable and rushed.

A quick read if you have nothing better on your list at the moment.

Very erotic. A well written story. I enjoyed the back-and-forth views. I could tell the book was written with a female bent and half-way through I stumbled on to the bios in the back. This story could have gone a few different directions at the end, so I was really hooked those final chapters.
