Marvins life has turned into a living hell His mother is dying, and his last attempt at saving her has sent his life on a vertiginous downward spiral. Betrayed by his friends and at the mercy of the inhumane justice system of Splendor, what does he have left to believe in?
This one was better than the last. It got a little further along in the story and caught my interest more, but it still didn't quite get to what I wanted to see. The art was still well done and it does look like the story was going places that could be quite interesting, but it still didn't capture my attention that much. Not sure I'm going to read the next one.
The world seems unfair to the main character. The super hero seems more than fine to kill those who oppose the law and the officers aren't kind either. Maybe it's the right thing to become... the " Arch Enemy".
