Fearing a mass extinction, a modern day Noah sets sail with two of every animal. Some may find this a bit preachy, though I thought it rather nice to see someone taking action, any action, on climate change. I liked the author's paintings, done on wood, then antiqued; they resemble nothing less than Edward Hicks' most famous painting - The Peaceable Kingdom. Two other things I liked: Noah, in his bell-bottomed jeans and seventies pornstache looks exactly like my seventh grade biology teacher, AND, take note science-deniers - the ostriches, who buried their heads in the sand, were never heard from again.

So, there!

It was a very strange adaptation of the Noah's ark story, I can see how some may really like a story like this, but for me it felt off.
