This third novella, although a bit shorter in length, is not short on content. As the pages turn in The Hearts Domination, we see Natalie deal with Emma’s health issues, Jasmine and Ellis begin a romantic relationship, Tanner deal with his jealous stepmother Gabriella Clark, time spent in Europe, and the conclusion of an issue from Tanner’s past.
As our storyline opens, I felt like I had lost sight of the timeline. Natalie has already started her own fledgling business, this to me says 9 to 12 months must have passed, We left Natalie at the end of novella 2 inexperienced, and with little design skill, agreeing to Tanner’s deal to be by his side, in exchange for his help to broaden her design skills with real life experiences and contacts. If I put this timeline next to the sexual/personal relationship timeline of Tanner and Natalie it doesn’t line up for me, but it didn’t detract from the overall storyline developing in this novella.
Tanner and Natalie are now side by side on a daily basis, emotionally and physically, Tanner is personally challenged with his feelings towards Natalie, not understanding why she makes him feel differently than other women have in the past. He is still controlling, obsessive and jealous, but he is also caring, romantic, and generous. Natalie continues to be accepting of Tanner’s sexual tastes, becoming more confident in her own sexuality, even dominating Tanner in one of the sex scenes. True to this type of storyline, Natalie professes her love for Tanner, forcing him to look at their relationship, one where he wanted no emotional involvement.
I found a few typos, and the writing was a bit choppy in some sections. The overall story line continues to develop and expand as our supporting characters begin to have larger roles. The sex scenes have expanded to include more punishment (which I actually found to be more erotic punishment), and bondage.
I’m excited to see where the next novella will take the story.

Kim Kazawic This is the 3rd book installment for Natalie and Tanner....she is still deeply in LOVE with Tanner. He has been her savior since the beginning and this book no different. He makes sure that her mom is comfortable and receiving the best treatment her mom can receive while moving her sister also to NYC along with her mom. He seems to show and give the things or feelings you have when you are in LOVE with someone but he still can't say the words. Will he ever be able too ? Even after he found out that he WASN'T the animal he thought he was to Saline. What will it take ? Will Natalie have what Jazzy and Eliis have now ? We shall see........The books keep getting better and better !!

I received a free copy of this novella in exchange for an honest review, and I would give this third installment 4 stars.
I have to admit, that I was a bit lost when the story opened up. Naked Submission left off with Tanner, basically not wanting to share Natalie with her school schedule. He wanted her time to be free so she could accompany him, whenever and wherever, the need arose…Something that would not be feasible if Natalie were tied to a classroom. Somewhere between then and now, Natalie started her own business, under Tanner’s tutelage. I feel like I lost several months of their time together. However, with that being said, this hiccup did NOT keep me from enjoying the story immensely.
After offering assistance to Natalie’s mother and sister, we are off to Paris, France…where we get to see the romantic in Tanner. “A white rose lay on the table beside Natalie. The Heart's Domination continues the story of Natalie and Tanner. In this novella, most of book takes place in France. I liked this one the best so far. While there is A LOT OF STEAMY sex scenes, this one dug a little deeper than the first two for me. Readers are given more of a background story that involves a better look into Natalie's and especially Tanner's family issues. I like that because it helps the reader connect more with the characters. Natalie's mother's health has had a setback, and Tanner provides for better medical care and an apartment in New York closer to Natalie. This showed a softer side to him, and I must say I like that.
There were also some resolutions to his troubled past involving a woman he abused and his stepmother. All these things show a possible softening in his demeanor. These occurrences along with Natalie possibly gaining some independence may just thaw his coldness and need for control. He may be forced to admit his true feelings for her. There is nothing better than seeing a such a self-controlled and controlling man lose that and just experience his emotions. As the title suggests, maybe Tanner will be finally be dominated by none other than his heart....
I am looking forward to reading the next installment.

Natalie's mother has ended up in the hospital and Tanner knows it's important for her to be by her side. While she's in Oakland, he makes arrangemnets for Emma and Jazzy to move to New York with nothing but the best care for them.
A romantic trip to Paris has Tanner fuming at the years Gabriell has spent deceiving him. The truth comes out and a warning issued. Will she listen this time?
Natalie and Tanner's relationship is growing. She continues to learn from Tanner the many ways of pleasure. But has she reached her limit?
Book 3 shows the relationship between Natalie and Tanner growing in intimacy. The sex is hotter and the emotions are building. This book is more about Tanner trying to discover his feelings for Natalie and keep himself under control. I've gotten used to the BDSM in these books and for me, as long as there is no "coldness" in the dominates eyes, I can handle it. My curiosity of the realtionship between Tanner and Natalie continues to grow. I hate to say it but I'm waiting for something big to happen in these books. So far, the problems are easily solved.

This series is getting better with each book. Although this book contains a lot of hot and steamy sex like the last, I feel that we are giver a closer look into who Tanner and Natalie are as individuals and as a couple. Natalie's mom's health takes a turn for the worse but with the help of Tanner and his uncle she is able to get better health care and move closer to Natalie. Tanner uncovers the truth to a false story that his step mother had concocted years ago. With the truth being out a weight has been lifted off of Tanner's shoulders but now he seems some what unsure of who he really is and his limits.
I enjoyed this book the most so far because it reveals the softer more intimate side of Tanner. We find him struggling to remain in control and not to let his heart take over. He realizes that Natalie means more to him than any woman ever has and he doesn't want to be without her. It's the little things he does that means so much. He presents her with necklace with two butterflies, one of diamonds and the other of black onyx. I feel that this is not only his way of showing her the joy she brings to his life but also his way of saying those three precious words and letting her know that he will always be hers.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series so far and I can't wait to read book 4!

I received a free copy of this novella in exchange for an honest review. I give this book 4 Stars. The story's intensity is still going strong. I like that fact that there weren't too many angst in it. I like that it was almost smooth sailing. A little bit of fighting here and there but the separation was not too long if any.
This book took place in New York City and Paris, France. It continued where Naked Submission left off. Natalie and Tanner's relationship continued to blossom. Natalie was a goner. You can see that she loved Tanner with all her being, heart and soul. She realized that and did not fight it. On the other hand, Tanner still thought he was bad for her but he could not deny his intense needs for Natalie. He felt feelings for Natalie that he still was not able to recognized what they were. Both characters continued to grow as they spent time together in Paris. I love that Tanner was a romantic. While in Paris, Natalie started her clothing line.
This series is awesome. An expected surprise that resolved Tanner's past I did not see it coming. The intense and hot sex scenes continued. Each night, they did something different. I could not put the book down. I am looking forward to the next one.

I've just recently starting reading books by Emily Jane Trent and I just love love love the way she writes!!!
After seeing reviews that others had written and had criticized the fact that this series is so much like 50 Shades of Gray, I was even more compelled to want to read the Touched By You series. Heck -- a love story is a love story is a love story -- and if you let them, they can all seem like the same thing over and over. But, I think that Emily has written this with a little twist that makes it a love story all of it's own!!!!
With that said -- if you have NOT read Dark Desire - which is the 1st book in the series Touched By You, or Naked Submission – which is the 2nd book in the series – then you really need to read them first. The first book sets the stage and introduces you to Tanner and Natalie. The second book gives you some insight to Tanners ways and show how he introduces Natalie to them. Then there is the third book – WOW WOW WOW!!!
Tanner and Natalie are awesome together!!! The sex is HOT HOT HOT!! The way the author writes the story is intriguing and the way she had you feeling a part of their lives is amazing!!!

I love this series
Ok with that being said, in this installment we have Tanner and Natalie still sexually together, while Natalie is completely on board with her emotions and her love for Tanner. Natalie's mother gets worst but Tanner to the rescue he steps in and gets her mom the best Doctor(his uncle). After helping get her mother into a special program to help with her condition he whisks Natalie off to Paris.
I love how Tanner is trying to act like he is not in love with Natalie and he is only into having sex with her. This is such a great story that I love it.
O wait in this installment Tanner learns that his evil nasty stepmother lied about an accident in which he thought he had abused a woman. It turns out that it was a lie and he also throws it in her evil face that she will not be bothering him anymore with her lies. LOVED LOVED LOVED THAT.
I can not wait to see what happens in the next installment, great series.

This series is getting better. This is the 3rd book and its moving right along with Natalie working for Tanner and also starting her own business. There was a couple of stumbling blocks when Natalie's mom took a turn for the worse, but with Tanner's help, mom and sister are moved to be closer to Natalie and also to get better health care.
The couple's sex life is spicing up more, and I'm thinking Natalie is a freak:) She takes on anything Tanner can dish out. This installment goes into quite a bit of detail of the fashion world Natalie is trying to get into and she is proving herself worthy. Also in this one Tanner learns of the deceit and lies his devious, wicked stepmother has been spewing to anyone who will listen. He learns something that will free him up and I think will make a different in his relationship with Natalie. I'm liking this series more and more.

This series will make you ignore screaming children, laundry, eating and pretty much anything else that has nothing to do with reading this series.
I just finished book three and I have to say that I am in trouble. I was worried at first that the series would begin to drag on or become overly sexual to compensate for the readers familiarity with the characters....I was wrong. The author had done a great job of balancing interesting plot with super hot sex scenes. I love that it is sensual sex even though heavily erotic. Even in the throes of passion there is a story to be had. I find that I am actually reading all if the details because normally it is too smutty for me and I skip it, but this is in a category all it's own! On to number 4!!! Oh Tanner I can't wait to have you back!

The story continues on with Tanner and Natalie, having just become business partners, Tanner is making sure that Natalie goes where he goes! As ever Natalie still as that bit of resistance to being dominated, but is really enjoyin the experience that she is being opened up to!
There is an interesting tale from the evil stepmother, that sheds light on some of the secrets that have been kept over the years, will they finally reveal details about Tanners dark side?!are family issue going to disrupt Natalie's developing romance?! Don't want to say too much, but this book continues at the fast pace as the previous two books, and must say I really enjoy reading the development of their relationship! Can't wait to read the nexus the series!!

Natalie and Tanner don't disappoint. Their romance is turned up in this one. Both Tanner and Natalie are continuing their relationship and taking things to the next level.
Natalie (with the help of Tanner) started her own business. She is living her dream and spending all her spare time with Tanner. She now travels with him and goes to the different events with him so that she's never too far from him.
Tanner is helping Natalie live her dream while still running his company. He's finding it harder and harder to be away from her at extended periods of time. she's possessed him heart, mind, and soul.

The thing I liked most about this instalment is the smoothness. There wasn't much in the way of drama/ angst and I really enjoyed just reading about these two and their continuing relationship.
We all knew Natalie was head over heals in the last book, and I liked to see Tanner coming to terms with his feelings too. I think it will be awhile before he truly trust that this will last!!
That one particular scene with the gold bandage dress, WOW!! I may need a cold shower after that!!!
When there are more revelation about his past involving Gabriella, I was left extremely angry!! What sort of woman dose that?!?
I enjoyed reading about Natalie is Paris, with her designs.
Very much looking forward to the next one!!

I received this book to give an honest review of it.
I am really liking this series. It combines a lot of the good basics of a romance novel with a little extra spice. I like how this couple travels all over, although not even starting design school and she quits to work for him and let him take her around the world. I mean what girl wound turn that offer down, but still, what if along the way, it goes bad! Then again, she did ink herself for him, while they were apart.
I still love it, even if I question her actions, but this is a book! A good one at that! Need the next book now to continue on! I can honestly say, that this series is getting better by the book!

What does Natalie have to do to make Tanner say those three little words? What will it take for Tanner to admit that he's in love? Finally the secret of Tanner's accident is revealed. That seemed to change him he realized maybe he isn't his father's son. For such a smart man though he still can't recognize its love that he feels when its staring him in the face. Everything he's done to help her mother how could he explain that as being self centered? How sweet is it that in the midst of one love story there's another brewing: Jazzy and Ellis.

Wow, it keeps getting better and better. Tanner comes to a realization about his past. A past that is holding him back and keeps him from being in a meaningful relationship. He simply needs control at all times because he was afraid to loss control and hurt another. He tries to kept the walls he has built strong and steady but the walls begin to crumble when the past is no longer what he thought it was.

Really enjoyed this book!! If you like the Fifty Shades series this book has similarities. I am really enjoying the emotion that is being shared by the characters. This in fact is one part of the book I am really liking. To see how Natalie is growing and understanding what's going on. Also to see that Tanner is as loving as he is. It would be hard not to love him!! :) Excited to read next book!!

Wow. Im addicted. The 3rd book is just as good but short. Natalie brings her family to ny so her mom can have great care. Natalie and tanner goes to Paris. Tanner introduce her to the playroom. There relationship is growing. There was no drama but nice romance. What a nice short read. You get to know the real side of tanners step mom. The sex is amazing. I couldn't put the book down. Finished as soon as I received it. Thanks Emily.

This series gets better with every book, the romance is blossoming and the sex is getting steamier. Natalie has fallen for Tanner, hook, line and sinker, Tanner is beginning to change also, but does he love Natalie. Another great book that you can't put down, you don't want it to end and anticipate the arrival of the next one. Thankyou Emily for letting me review your book for an honest review, I feel honoured.

The Heart's Domination allows us to see how Tanner's connection to Natalie is growing in ways that he doesn't understand. There are new revelations about Tanner's past that allow him to let go of something that has defined him for years but the question remains who is he without this defining him. Emily Jane Trent doesn't disappoint with the sex scenes as Natalie becomes more confident with Tanner in the bedroom. Excited to see what happens next with Natalie and Tanner.

I really enjoyed this book, this one is the best so far! I like the direction the story is going, I like how the characters are coming into themselves and am fanning myself while reading some of the HOT scenes! I also like seeing how Tanner is trying to figure out how he really feels, it's cute to see such an alpha male struggle with his emotions for Natalie.
Can't wait to see what happens next!

Natalie is enjoying everything that Tanner does for her & to her. He's obsessed with her & he's loving every step she lets him take her to. But he's still holding himself back. He doesn't do love & romance. Natalie sees the good man that he is & is willing to wait for the day she may get all of him.

Received this for a review....Tanner is getting sweeter and sweeter. He is really fighting his feelings for Natalie. He can't admit he loves her but its obvious with every look and every caress. He is still an alpha male and I love them so much but he has this softer side and it's truly beautiful. I am absolutely loving this series. Can't wait to see what is in store!!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and honestly I really like this series. I enjoy seeing how Tanners feelings are growing deeper for Natalie, and he doesn't know how to deal with them because he does not think he is good for her, and does not think he is capable of love. I look forward to the next book in the series.

The 3rd book in this installment was even better than the last. I am truly captivated by the plot of the story. In this book Tanner finds out from his stepmother that what he thought was true about his past really isn't. This book to me is about change and accepting the change no matter how hard it may be or the outcome. I highly recommend this book.
