I read the 1978-1982 version. It’s quick, useful, and interesting. I find the interplay of personality and characteristics and appearance interesting to explore. Largely due to the age of the book, it is written for primarily white and lighter-skinned readers; this book is also half the length of later (1991+) editions, which break into subseasons and hopefully is more inclusive of coloring. I’ll look into it and report back.

This book was interesting, I guess I never realized how our natural coloring effected us or how others perceive us. It was eye-opening to see the many color options and how if you merely add highlights to your hair, your coloring is changed immediately.
