I didn't like this book. :(

Things are finally going great for Reya - Lorenzo her loving husband, her career and a possible pregnancy. Now if she can only get over her commitment issues. Lorenzo has been waiting centuries for Reya to finally commit and shows her in a fiery night of passion who she belongs to. Despite Reya's issues, she has decided to go before the Council and claim Lorenzo as her mate. However, an obsessive demon from her past seeks to reclaim what he feels belongs to him. Will Reya finally have peaceful life with Lorenzo or will Nybras succeed and taking back his precious?
I started reading this book not knowing it was actually a sequel. Despite not having read the previous book, I found author Jaycee Clark provided enough history that I was able to follow the story without getting lost. Retribution is a well-rounded story with the perfect blend of romance, passion and suspense. I found all the characters refreshing especially liked how each one of them kept me on my toes. I truly enjoyed how genuine Reya is portrayed - insecurity flaws and all. The sexual encounters are passionate without being overly graphic. Retribution is a great book and I look forward to reading the first book in the series. This is a enjoyably good read for anyone who is into Paranormal romances. Well done Jaycee Clark!

I started reading this book not knowing it was actually a sequel. Despite not having read the previous book, I found author Jaycee Clark provided enough history that I was able to follow the story without getting lost. Retribution is a well-rounded story with the perfect blend of romance, passion and suspense. I found all the characters refreshing especially liked how each one of them kept me on my toes. I truly enjoyed how genuine Reya is portrayed - insecurity flaws and all. The sexual encounters are passionate without being overly graphic. Retribution is a great book and I look forward to reading the first book in the series. This is a enjoyably good read for anyone who is into Paranormal romances. Well done Jaycee Clark!

With fantastically complicated characters and a detailed underlying plot, this book is wonderfully entertaining; leading the reader to want to know more about the lives of the shifters, their council and their past.
I have read Jaycee Clark before but had not come across this series previously. I enjoyed the book and the depth of the story so much that I am certainly looking forward to reading more in the Ghost Cat series.
If you have read Clark’s books and enjoyed them, if you like romance with a twist or paranormal shifter novels with a little darkness and romance try this book on for size. This book was definitely worth the purchase price for me…

Great finish to a great series
Rhee and Lorenzo are a great couple, strong, loving and perfect for each other. Trying to forget her past, she's drawn back into it. Lo will do anything for his mate and he does. Jaycee Clark writes a good paranormal story, strong characters and a good storyline.

Got this in the Shifter Fated Mates box set. It was ok for a short story. Nothing that really jumped out at me though.
