I was born in Tasmania, Australia and have a passion for history, myths, legends and adventure and exploration. I write under my own name and also that of Dan Jerris. I have written the successful series Dragon Blood Pirates under this name. These books are on the 2013, Premier of New South Wales Australia, reading list for all primary school children. They have also been published in Australasia, England, Brazil and Turkey.
I also enjoy sailing, farming, swimming and the wonderful Australian bush. My loves have influenced my writing. I have been awarded a Distinguished Alumni Award from Canberra University for my services to Children's literature.
My series, The Faraway Fairies was listed on Books Alive, the top 50 books you can't put down, sponsored by the Australian Government in 2009, in which they choose 50 books from all over the world to list for people in Australia to read.
The Arky Steele series has just been published in 2013 and consist of 2 books which are great reading for pre teens and adults. The Guardian of the Tomb and The Cursed City.
I hope you enjoy some of my books and happy reading.
