Another delightfully erotically charged short story from Kay.
Forced to go the The Circus on her own, Carrie finds herself centre stage.

I have read other stories by Kay Jaybee, and was excited to see just what she would do in a story titled "The Circus." Trust me when I say that it is nothing at all like any circus you could possible think of . What it is, however, is a story is full of tantalizing scenes and erotic imagery that allows your imagination to paint a vivid visual picture. The characters are fun and just the right amount of naughty. I admit that I was just as disappointed as Carrie when her boyfriend Scott couldn't go with her, but anticipation is a part of the whole pleasure, and this story certainly gives the reader a peek into that. In fact, the reader becomes the of the voyeuristic audience, and what a show we get!

*Book source ~ many thanks to the author for providing a review copy in exchange for an honest review.

In a long empty run-down theater The Circus has come to town. But this isn’t your family friendly kind of circus. Oh, no. This is a kinky voyeuristic show in which two lucky randomly chosen audience members get to participate in the show. Carrie’s boyfriend Scott has secured her a ticket even though getting called away to work means he can’t attend with her. When Carrie’s number is chosen, it’s time to see if she has what it takes to be center stage in The Circus.

Oh. My. So, 120 people pay 100 quid (um, I don’t know what the exchange rate is, but I’m going to guess that’s a goodly sum) to watch kinky sexual acts on a stage and for the possibility that they may be chosen for said kinky acts. Why are there no shows like that around here? Or are there and I just don’t know about them? Hmmm…where was I? Oh, yeah! Can I just say this is HOT and leave it at that? And the surprise twist? Loved it! Now, I just need to win the lottery so I can open my very own Circus.

This author has a unique knack of making you examine your limits and push them that little bit further, leading to all kinds of delights. This book is another prime example of that talent. If you're expecting clowns and trapeze artists then this isn't the circus you're looking for! Carrie attends the show alone as her boyfriend Scott has to work late. The night turns out quite differently from the one she is expecting though! Chock full of BDSM, voyeurism and humiliation, this darkly delightful story is not for the light and fluffy crowd. If you want to harness that secret place inside you that whispers naughty things in your ear at night then take a look and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of Ms Jaybee.
