Kendra Spencer also known affectionately as Prince was born September 12, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her childhood consisted of vast amounts of hours spent on reading and carrying duffel bags full of books to and from the public library. Stepping into her teenaged years she began to notice the books she was reading while very creative did not depict the environment around thus a writer was born. The nickname Prince came about from class mates due to Zane being very popular around the time and dubbed the Queen of erotica with Zane's steamy stories was skyrocketing through their classmates and Kendra Spencer at the tender age of fourteen also writing vivid sex scenes Prince came forth. While the nickname is derived from a young adults standpoint Kendra Spencer still strives to be known one day as major heavy hitter in the erotic fiction genre. When Prince is not reading or writing you can find her working with individuals that have developmental disabilities or engaged in a semi professional womens football game where she is a proud athlete #33 of the Cincinnati Sizzle.
3.5 stars. After many conversations with this author I went back and reread. She gave me some background on the book and I was able to read it in a different state if mind. At the age the characters were the younger me would have raved about this book. My critiques of formatting and development still remain but I get the plot. I still hated the ending. She knows that!
this book is great different authors have different ways of captivating their audiences and kendra spencer does it by writing in a way that makes you feel as if you are having a conversation with the characters in her book.. the way it is written allows to get close and personal and feel what the characters are going through... great book :)
I rated this book but never commented. This book was everything I thought it would be up until the end. Which really shocked me I couldn't believe it but this was a good read!!!!
This book was good. I don't often read books of this type (usually because I so rarely find any that really appeal to what I like in terms of story, plot and characters) but there are times when I find ones that are better than I would typically expect. This was one that was better than I would have initially thought. I enjoyed reading it, and the ending was certainly a shocker. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in lesbian love triangles or to anyone who enjoys books where members of the LGBTQ+ community is featured prominently.
Woah this book was very hot and entertaining! And definitely wasn’t expecting the ending. The relationship was so crazy! They couldn’t be happy for a minute lol.
I think this book was outstanding, at first I didn't know what to expect when it was handed to me, but as I began to read it for myself I couldn't put it down. They characteres are so relateable to me and my own friend's. It has a lot of good parts in it, but the best part is a big twist that you would never expect to come to furition, I would recomend this book to people who love reading or even people who may just pick up a book once in a while, its awesome, true to life and one that will keep your attention and have you wanting more :)
Read sample, well first few paragraph.. the writing style doesn't appeal to me so I'll pass, but urge anyone who enjoys the below type of speech to grab a copy.
"How you gon be blowing kisses to other gurls gurls. (huh?)
It was OK, I wish the storyline wasn't so childish. I wish the sex scenes weren't so predictable after time. However I didn't make Ronnie out to be the typical stud... Overall it was an OK book I wouldn't read it again
I can say I definitely didn't see anything that happened in that book coming! Lots of action toward the ending, so definitely pay attention because its definitely something you don't want to miss!
