While the nickname is derived from a young adults standpoint Kendra Spencer still strives to be known one day as major heavy hitter in the erotic fiction genre. 3.5 stars. After many conversations with this author I went back and reread. She gave me some background on the book and I was able to read it in a different state if mind. At the age the characters were the younger me would have raved about this book. My critiques of formatting and development still remain but I get the plot. I still hated the ending. She knows that!

this book is great different authors have different ways of captivating their audiences and kendra spencer does it by writing in a way that makes you feel as if you are having a conversation with the characters in her book.. the way it is written allows to get close and personal and feel what the characters are going through... great book :)

This book was good. I don't often read books of this type (usually because I so rarely find any that really appeal to what I like in terms of story, plot and characters) but there are times when I find ones that are better than I would typically expect. This was one that was better than I would have initially thought. I enjoyed reading it, and the ending was certainly a shocker. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in lesbian love triangles or to anyone who enjoys books where members of the LGBTQ+ community is featured prominently.

I think this book was outstanding, at first I didn't know what to expect when it was handed to me, but as I began to read it for myself I couldn't put it down. They characteres are so relateable to me and my own friend's. It has a lot of good parts in it, but the best part is a big twist that you would never expect to come to furition, I would recomend this book to people who love reading or even people who may just pick up a book once in a while, its awesome, true to life and one that will keep your attention and have you wanting more :)

Read sample, well first few paragraph.. the writing style doesn't appeal to me so I'll pass, but urge anyone who enjoys the below type of speech to grab a copy.

"How you gon be blowing kisses to other gurls gurls. (huh?)

"Gon get yo ass beat one day."

'go holla at' er'.

"Yo, ma can I holla at'chu.

It was OK, I wish the storyline wasn't so childish. I wish the sex scenes weren't so predictable after time. However I didn't make Ronnie out to be the typical stud... Overall it was an OK book I wouldn't read it again
