Salvaged was the second book in the Love and Repair series by Chelsea Camaron.

Salvaged was a unique perspective in that Brayden and Maggie had been dating for four years and we watched their progression in previous books; however, Brayden had secrets unknown to Maggie and it destroyed everything they had. Camaron then took us through Brayden's demons one by one. It wasn't pretty. Addiction and guilt are tough battles to fight individually and are even worse together.

Camaron made us feel anger, betrayal and loss. She then unveiled healing, forgiveness and hope. It was an emotional roller coaster. I felt it was plausible; yet, I also felt there were a few gaps in timeline that I was missing and was craving.

Simultaneously, Camaron continued to provide growth for past characters and teasers for future storylines. It was creative and well developed; however, there were too many editing errors to overlook.

Brayden and Maggie get there HEA but it's a long haul and hopefully we will see even more growth in future books. Harrison, Maggie's brother, is next up in Beyond Repair. In the meantime, we get the novella for Jake and Kenna's story in Full Throttle.

This is the second book in the series Daddy's Girls. I really enjoyed this one. This one begins were Restore My Heart left off.

I will say Mrs. Camaron surprised me in this book.

Maggie and Brayden have been in a relationship for 4 years. They are the perfect couple.

BUT ARE THEY?

Brayden has a secret passed that he has not shared with anyone.

He is keeping so much hidden from Maggie. And Maggie is so freaking blind all she is worried about it getting married.

Brayden is not able to deal with his pass so he turns to drugs. Maggie had not clue and she never saw the signs. Now she blames herself. Maggie is shattered by his confession.

Once Brayden tells her about his pass and about the drugs will they survive?

Can love really conquer all?

Can Brayden overcome his pass and find his way back to Maggie?

I wanted to kill him. But then I wanted to hug him. And I wanted to cry for him.

This story shows you that you have to fully love yourself before you can let others love you. It shows what happens when people turn to drugs.

I did not go into to much detail of the book. It is a short read. I feel you just need to read it to get the full meaning of what went on between Brayden and Maggie.

I love that Chelsea included Ryder and Dina in this book and letting us know what was going on with them as well as meeting new characters.

This book had so much drama between the pregnancy scare and drugs you were really drawn in right away.

Harrison's is Maggie's older protective brother. I just loved him. Can not wait for his story!

You are left with questions at the end but I am just going to have to read the next installment.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Well done Mrs. Camaron!!

Let me start with I really enjoyed continuing the story of Maggie and Dina. We see a lot more of Ryder and Dina's story in this, including them marrying. Which I LOVED! We also get to the bottom of what is going on between Maggie and Brayden. There is a lot to cover here, so let me get started.

Maggie is a great character in that nothing is too terribly deep with her, she likes her life and doesn't for the most part, over think things. She is completely content in her blissful ignorance and doesn't do too much in terms of questioning her boyfriend who seems to have changed overnight. It takes a reality check like losing their new home, for Maggie to wake up and deal with the reality and gravity of their situation. I wouldn't say she is flighty, I just think she isn't accustomed to having to deal with things. It seems like everyone has sort of always taken care of her. Her parents, big brother Harrison (who I will talk about soon), and Dina. Now she has to grow up and find herself and what she wants.

Brayden is a mess. Nope, take that back, he is a walking talking disaster! Having lost his older sister when he was a teen, he holds a lot of guilt that he of course deals with by in fact, not dealing. He turns to drugs to make all his pain go away, and as you might imagine, his addiction puts everything on the line. The new home he just bought and his relationship with Maggie & even his friendship with Ryder and Dina. Everything seems to be falling apart. Finally he comes clean about the drugs after he demolishes Maggie's car. She of course is devastated.

Dina is kind of brutal in this book. I get it, she lost her parents to someone under the influence while they were driving. She is a lot less forgiving towards Brayden due to that. It is completely understandable. But damn it was hard to read Dina being cold when she seemed to have such a gentle heart in the first book. We also get to know a little about Maggie's father, who is amazing and doesn't pass judgement on Brayden, he knows the kid is in trouble and he knows the love he has for his daughter. I love that about Harold!

The best part of this book for me is the way Brayden finds his way back, and how Maggie stands beside him to see him through. I love that this couple has been through hell and still finds a way to make it work. It is hard as hell to watch, but totally worth the outcome! And we get to meet Harrison, Maggie's big brother, who is crazy protective of his sister and his adoptive sister, Dina. I ADORE Harrison! He is wonderful. And as a bonus it looks like his is the next book in the series, Beyond Repair.

This novel, like the first one, is a super quick read. I enjoyed it though! I give it 4 lipsticks!

WELL this was SO good and so emotional. I loved it. When I say I like angst and torture I mean it in a good. Way. For this book I was treated to both. This book continues where Restore my heart leaves off. Brayden was so complex. When you want to yell at a character you know the author did a bang up job. I was loving how complex he was and how he evolved with Maggie.

Once again a lot of issues that are relevant to today's 20-30 year old crowd. I thoroughly enjoyed it more than book 1. I was very invested in the emotional aspect of the book. Another Chelsea home run!!
Creating a character like Harrison who was introduced here was probably difficult. He is complex and seemingly in check with emotions. Another well written sub plot, one which better continue. One large order of Harry coming up

I cant wait for book 3. Another must read book! My fans of new adult are going to read and fall in love with this wonderful author like I did.
Then enters Harrison

Salvaged

This storyline was a good one. I must admit though I wish there had been a bit more about Braydon's time in rehab and some kind of confrontation with his mother. On to the next one....

Salvaged

Salvaged ( # 2 Daddy´s Girl Series) by Chelsea Camaron is the second installment in the Daddy´s Girls Series. This book started off right where the first book " Restore My Heart" ended. With Dina and Ryder finally together but Maggie and Brayden having unknown problems in their relationship. These problems were all spread out in this book and BOY, were there enough problems to send a guy to the moon with.

In order to understand this book you should read the first one. Maggie and Brayden´s perfect relationship more or less starts to crumble in " Restore My Heart", leaving us readers wanting their story to continue.

What we get from this book is Maggie and Brayden´s POV, plus some little extras from earlier characters like Ryder and Dina, and of course...some new characters.

Salvaged was a short and fun read. But I had the feeling the author wanted to achieve a whole lot of feelings but some didn´t come through. There was a major subject involved that just wasn´t displayed awful enough for a reader to actually visualize what was happening. For instance: Brayden used drugs to hide from the demons from his past. He was sent to rehab and all....but I didn´t really see what he was going through. Everyone of his emotions were cut short and it seemed like he was just functioning on an unemotional level which let me feel like he was taking everything with a lot of ease. So....rehab was a piece of cake. So it seemed. But on the other hand....Dina´s emotions towards Brayden were very strong and at times aggressive. I don´t really know how many times you can tell someone that they´re an ass in a pretty hateful way and still be happy to help them in any way possible. Some people may call that true friendship....I would call it "No way.....".I wouldn´t want a friend who reacts soo passionate ( and by that I mean you really have to watch what you say around Dina) about everything and who also has the wisdom of Mother Theresa at the same time. In my opinion...Dina needs alot more therapy herself before before she goes all nuts on others who need just as much help. But this story isn´t about Dina....it was about Brayden and Maggie.

Brayden was a good character but I didn´t read much about him. Maggie was also a cute gal, but her POV was cut short as well, so...I didn´t get the chance to actually get to know the characters. I, personally, thought this book was supposed to be just their ( Brayden & Maggie) but it felt like it was divided into four sections. Namely: Maggie, Brayden, Dina and Ryder. That was a bit confusing considering this book was short. There were maybe 1 or 2 sex scenes in this book, and they too started out good, but it somehow got lost inbetween Ryder and Dina.....

All in all I thought the book was good, but the story wasn´t enough to grab my full attention. I´m not saying that it was a terrible read.....It was just too short and it had so many major issues that could have been fantastically explained if the book wasn´t cut short. Since I liked the approach the author made with Brayden and Maggie, I will still give this book a decent rating.

The Divas are giving SALVAGED ( # 2 Daddy´s Girl Series) by Chelsea Camaron 3 out of 5 champagne glasses.

4 STARS!

I really enjoyed reading Salvaged! The book continued the story of Dina and Ryder, as well as diving further into the relationship between Brayden and Maggie. It combined two main stories into one, and alternated between a couple different POV's. I liked the way Chelsea did the different POV's in Salvaged because each time it changed from one to another, it continued the story instead of repeating the same part over again. This led for a much smoother read in my opinion. It is difficult for me to write too much about the actual story itself because there are quite a few things that could spoil it for someone who has not yet read it. I remember being just over halfway through the book and having so many questions I just NEEDED answers for. Who was Bianca? What happened to her? What was Brayden's big secret and why did he keep thinking to himself "It should have been me"? It was killing me... but in a good way, and held my interest throughout the entire story. Chelsea did not disappoint as each and every question I had was answered by the time I reached the end. There were definitely some parts which actually had me laughing, like when Dina walked in on Maggie and Brayden naked... her reaction was priceless!

As the story progresses you get to see a side of Brayden which you had not seen in Restore My Heart. He was troubled, and haunted, but through it all he still loved Maggie with all his heart. But will that love be enough to pull them through what is happening in their lives?

"Maggie, I love you baby, always have always will. My fire and ice, my wild and my calm, you are the only good I have ever had in my life."

Towards the end of the book, Maggie's brother Harrison begins to play a larger part in the story. He moves to Charlotte, and stays with Maggie which really helps get her through a very hard time in her life. Things are going well for him... He has a job working at Ryder's shop, has become close with Sophia (Maggie's friend), and is really enjoying living there and almost forgetting about his past... until...
*ENTER CLIFFHANGER* AHHHHHHHHHHHH! At least the cliffhanger isn't as bad as the one from Restore My Heart, but still! I cannot wait to see what happens next! Thank god Beyond Repair is almost here!!!!

Salvaged is a contemporary romance, 156 pages and book two in Chelsea Camaron’s Daddy’s Girl’s series (of three so far) told in alternating first POVs.

It’s not absolutely necessary I believe, to read book one Restore My Heart (Ryder and Dina’s story) but you should anyway not only because the author doesn’t shy away from a topic that affects women and families worldwide but because it’s such a great read. In Restore My Heart the reader is given a lead in glimpse nearer the end of another couple, Brayden who works for Ryder and Dina’s bestie Maggie. They’re mad for each other but it soon becomes clear from Bray’s increasingly erratic and unstable behaviour that something is terribly wrong. Salvaged is their story and covers another theme that too often goes hand in hand with that raised in Restore My Heart.

This book leaves off where the first one ended. I was angry, upset, sad, happy, understanding and so much more with this book.

Maggie is hurt! She loves Bray but he has not been truthful to her! When papers are given she is shocked, angry and hurt! How can it be true? After all the years she never expected this... and how can she forgive a man who has told her lies for years? Thank goodness she has her friend Dina and her boyfriend Ryder there for support! She wouldn't make it without them. However, can she overcome the pain and learn to forgive Bray or will she decide that her heart needs to move on?

Bray is upset, sad, scared, alone and very sorry. He feels worthless. He feels that Maggie will not give him a second chance. Why would she? The only other female in his life treated him horribly.. so why would Maggie forgive and still love him? When something horrible happens and people tell him he needs to leave; can he come back home to the woman he loves or push her away for good after all the lies that have been told?

What a wonderful read! There was one part I was literally laughing out loud!(man's belt on table is all I'm going to say) bahahah

I enjoyed hearing and seeing Dina and Ryder in this book too! I loved them and loved their interaction and support etc in this book. I also loved that aspect of Maggie's family involved and everything! Harrison, Maggie's older brother (Harrison aka Harry) was quite the dominant man who protects his ladies. (His sister and Dina too) I enjoyed his character and involvement in the story! I am looking forward to seeing the next book being about him and what will happen since the book ended the way it did!

In a nutshell this book focuses on Maggie and Bray trying to figure out can love still outweigh the bad and can you forgive the one who has lied to you for 4 years? It was a wonderful emotional, lovely story. I enjoyed the friendships, redemption and so much more!

Wonderful read!

Salvaged is book 2 in Daddy's Girls series.

You got to see part of Brayden's behavior in Restore My Heart. Well you saw bits and pieces of it. That being said and now knowing his background. I wanted to choke the crap out of him and how he thought people should treat him. I understand when someone goes through a loss at a young age and don't know how to cope they turn to their dark side. This happened to Brayden. He suffered a loss at 15 and his mom shut him out. He didn't know how to deal so he turned to drugs. He messed his life up and Maggie's. He didn't know why Dina and Ryder didn't act like Maggie and push their feelings aside like she did. They pushed for him to get clean while Maggie dealt with the loss of money, and personal belongings.

I do like the fact that Brayden did go to rehab and stayed till he finished. He did relapse once and called Maggie so she knew what happened they promised no more secrets. He went to counseling and she went with him. I believe with her going with him helped him believe that she was in it for the long haul. I so badly wanted to choke, slap, kick and everything else to Brayden. I did shed some tears I will admit that. I will not say if Brayden and Maggie stay together, get married and continue counseling. You need to find that out for yourself. It was a great read as well. I would highly recommend this book to my friends after they read Restore My Heart. You did well Chelsea thank you for the read.

“I love you baby. Always have, always will. My fire and ice, my wild and calm, you are the only good I have ever had in my life.” Brayden "Salvaged" by Chelsea Camaron

5 stars for "Salvaged" by Chelsea Camaron. I Absolutely loved this book. There is more love, more drama, more sex. Ms Camaron hit it out of the park!! In "Salvaged" Dina's and Ryder's relationship comes full circle. We also follow the relationship between Maggie, Dina's best friend and Brayden Ryder's best friend. Maggie and Brayden have been in a relationship for 4 years. Outside appearances would have us believe that they are the perfect couple but Brayden has been hiding a painful secret, that is threatening to pull him under and change the course of his relationship with Maggie, Dina and Ryder. Your heart breaks for Brayden and Maggie, as they endeavor to overcome the obstacles that they are faced with.

Brayden and Maggie are fortunate, they have the support of their friends and family. We are introduced to Maggie's parents and her brother Harrison, who is a fierce protector of Dina and Maggie. We are also introduced to Brayden's Mother, who blames him for a tragedy that he had no control over. Can Brayden, recover with the help of his friends and Maggie's family? Will Maggie be able to forgive Brayden for his deception? Can Maggie and Brayden find their way back to each other? You'll have to read "Salvaged" by Chelsea Camaron to find out.

Wow! I don't think I was evenly remotely prepared for Maggie and Bray's story! It was a total twist that you saw coming in the first book, but didn't want to happen, as they seemed like the absolute "it" couple. I also enjoyed how you started the book off a little before where the first one ended - giving everyone a quick reminder (in Mags perspective) of what had happened in Florida, and while Dina and Ryder were at the car show.

I love the relationship that Maggie has with her father and brother Harry. I myself am a daddy's girl and felt that her family life was very relatable. I also love how much more passionate and fierce Dina became - especially since we know so much about her past.

You can't help but feel for Braydon. His past is difficult and the non existent relationship he has with his mother heartbreaking. The more you learn about his struggles the more your heart breaks for him. That being said I love the way his friends become the ultimate support group he needs to overcome his demons. I also love his new approach to life and love when things start to turn around for him. At the end you sit there wanting to help him fight for the future he doesn't thing deserves, even though he does!

And above all I'm very excited to learn more about Harry and his story!

I really loved reading this book!

Salvaged by Chelsea Camaron is an amazing book. It is a bitter sweet love story between Brayden and Maggie. Maggie is a sweet young woman who is love with Brayden. Brayden is dealing with his troubled past. Maggie does not know that Brayden pretty much has put her whole world into a tail spin. Thank Goodness for her best friend Dina and Dina's boyfriend Ryder. I wanted to kick Brayden's butt. This guy Brayden seems to think that by not answering his phone everything he caused would just go away.

Maggie is a warm kind soul who does not give up on Brayden but gives him time to prove to her that he has worked on his issues.

I loved how Maggie and Brayden had true friends in Dina and Ryder. That not everyone walks away when you are in true need.

The way that Maggie's family treats Dina like another daughter as supposed to just being Maggie's best friend is truly touching.

I am glad that Chelsea Camaron addressed some real hard issues in this book. Grief, loss, love, trust and the power of friendship and family.

I also enjoyed the love scenes.

I will be reading her other books. I recommend this book and this writer 100%. I give this book five stars! I have to say I think I will be reading this book again! I can be a picky reader, This book made me want to root for Maggie and Brayden!! I am one happy reader!!

OK, this book continues where Restore my heart leaves off. I can safely say that I don't know how I kept from losing my shit! Bray! Holy crap. I wanted nothing more than to kick his ass from one end of the street to the other. Then what does Chelsea do? She makes him a sweet, sexy, complex man. I couldn't help but love him. You still get pieces of Dina and Ryder which I LOVE IT!!! Also, Maggie and Bray's story continues on and you get to the thick of the cliffhanger from RMH.

Then enters Harrison! OH Harry! Maggie's older very alpha, going to beat your ass with his bare hands and take names later brother. Sigh and puddle. Trust me you will ladies! This was even better if that is even possible than RMH! Maggie and Bray love each other and that is never in question. Bray's past comes crashing into his present and chances destroying everything he wants for his future. Relationships in question, pregnancy scare, and so much more. And yes another bunch of questions to answer and another bunch to be asked. I love this series and I absolutely recommend that you read it and make sure to follow the page on facebook so that you get the reading order right! There are more than just two books and the next one comes out soon!

Wow this surprised me! Maggie and Brayden had the perfect relationship right? WRONG!!!! We got the broken woman and bad boy in book one...two doesn't disappoint and delivers a bittersweet story you can't help but keep reading until the end.

Maggie and Brayden's story shares what happens when the perfect relationship on the outside does when someone keeps secrets and doesn't trust their partner enough. Brayden hasn't shared his past and slowly is falling into a dark place that there is no way to recover from and not lose Maggie. Maggie is suffering from the everything is perfect in my relationship that she is blind to what is really happening in her relationship. We also get to meet Harrison, Sophia, and Tiffany. I can't wait to read that one!!!

This series has been amazing so far and if anyone asked me if I could recommend some goodreads...these for sure would make the list. they are not drawn out, not over done, and Chelsea Camaron just simply makes you fall in love with each character and each story!!

A great addition to the series! Maggie & Brayden seem to have the most stable unshakable relationship out of all the other couples, until you start to see some shady behavior towards the end of the 1st book. Honestly, I expected his big secret to be something else, so I definitely wasn't the least bit prepared for the truth. It's devastating nonetheless and all the lies and deceit are what draw you into the story. He's literally blindsided Maggie with all the secrets he's been hiding, leaving her a confused and utterly defeated mess. But before they can work out their problems together, they need to work on themselves individually. Even though Brayden has no real family support, he's surrounded by friends who love him and want to help any way they can. Ms. Camaron has created an awesome cast of characters who deal with real life situations, which I always find appealing. Her writing style is so easy to get into and before you know it you're on the very last page. I would definitely recommend this series and look forward to continuing with the next book!

(Salvaged, book 2) Maggie and Brayden are the perfect couple…so everyone thinks. Enter Brayden’s ghosts of the past that just won’t let him be free. He tries his hardest to take care of Maggie, loving her with his entire soul, but it’s just not enough. Maggie is clueless when all hell breaks loose, and doesn’t know what to do or think. Can their love out way the bad that’s pulling them down? We can only hope, because they’re hot as hell together! Talk about a kinky twosome…OMFG! Even though Brayden is completely messed up, he is devoted to Maggie in a way that’s unbreakable. This is where faith and trust in your partner come to play, and that’s going to be the biggest step of all! Oh and getting her father and overprotective brother, Harrison on board with the whole idea. He has a lot of groveling to do, and it’s going to be challenging, but I think he’s up for that challenge, and would do anything to prove his love and loyalty to Maggie.

I have to say it again, the author created a world that makes me want to dive in and just chill with the characters. Salvaged is a wild ride. I ached, I laughed, and yes, at times I needed a cold shower. Oh, boy this book is steamy! Brayden is raw, real, sexy, and the man is in love.
My favorite quote is:
“I love you baby. Always have, always will. My fire and ice, my wild and calm, you are the only good I have ever had in my life.”
Oh, my heart ached for him.
Maggie is a perfect balance of strength and character. She pushes him away when she needs, and she embraces him when he needs the most. She is brave and I love the relationship she has with her family. Yes, her family is loving, caring and well adjusted. Not the overused, cliché family that is always making the lives of our heroines a living hell.
Love, love this book.

This one picks up where Restore My Heart leaves off but from Maggie and Brayden's POV. In RMH we are left to feel like they have the perfect relationship but come to find out in this one that it's anything but perfect. Brayden has some serious shit to take care of and deal with. We do also get a little from Dina & Ryder's POV to answer the questions we had about them at the end of the RMH. At times I wanted to smack Brayden, but once we finally learn his story and understand him better I didn't hate him as much. I didn't fall in love with him, but like Dina I was beginning to be able to deal with him better.

Again, I liked this one as much as RMH, but felt like it could be longer. I also wish there would have been a little bit more with Brayden's time in rehab instead of just him finally telling his story and then fast forward to after he gets back.

So much drama, I loved. You fall in love with Maggie in the 1st book so when something life altering happens to her you are left shattered for her. We soon learn Brayden is hiding something and it is BIG. I love the story written her and how everything plays out. These books are shorter about 150 pages each and they draw you in so quickly. My heart is quickly wanting the next in the series.

Chelsea has done a fabulous job of drawing you in to love each character. These stories are great. I love how you get to connect with each character since the books are in alternate POV's and they are not just centered around the main characters and get to see what is going on with everyone else mentioned.

This is a great story, Brayden & Maggie have been together for four years. You might think that all is perfect and a wedding should be coming soon. Well you would be wrong, Brayden has a troubled past that he tries to deal with it with drugs and looses everything except his life. Maggie is heartbroken because she feels like she should have noticed something was wrong. Can they get past the past, lies and his deception, or can Maggie move on with her life? This will take you through lots of emotions and your heart will break for both Brayden's past and Maggie's pain. There are a few grammar mistakes I noticed but not enough to make it hard to read. I liked the first one and really liked this one. It is a sweet and painful story. Great job Chelsea Cameron.

I read the first book in this series and it was ok but Chelsea Camaron has redeemed herself. This book was so much better. It still had several mistakes in it but that just means she needs to edit better. The writing and the story were great. I actually cried in several parts. In the first book you could not feel the emotions like in this one. I was also very happy that it continued Dina & Ryder's story. In the description I was afraid that I wouldn't find out what happened with them. It is a fast read but still very good. I will recommend it to people and I really want to read the next one. Much better than the first and so glad she has grown as a writer. Good job Chelsea Camaron.

What can I say; Chelsea did it again by grabbing my attention with her words and becoming addicted to the story. I loved this story between Maggie and Brayden and how if you love someone so deep you can forgive. Yes, Brayden does something unthinkable but there are reasons behind it and he is broken so it makes it him more irresistible :) nothing like a broken man. Anyways, this is a good read and you will get sucked in because you need to find out what happens and what is going on their heads. I love that Chelsa gives us his and her POV's and so throughout the whole story you know what the other one is thinking. Loved it.

I really enjoyed the author's second book in her Daddy's Girls series. This book had me sucked in right from the beginning and it turned into quite an emotional roller coaster ride for me as I alternated between wanting to slap Brayden and tell him to wake up to himself, but also hurting for him because I understand what made him go the way he did. I'm a sucker for the happy ending though and I was rooting for Brayden and Maggie. I like the author's writing style. Her books flow well, nice and easy to read, just nice enjoyable stories all round. Now I'm moving on to the third book in the Daddy's Girls series Full Throttle.

Salvaged, it's not the same as Restore My Heart.
It's fresh and I love how the story just continued but with Brayden and Maggie's story.
I love how the story went, it's not boring and definitely interesting and intriguing. I was intrigued on what will happen to Brayden and Maggie's relationship because Brayden's issue.
On how the story ended, I loved it.
The story showed how the love of the two people will change you to be better and worth the love you deserve (even with the flaws and all).

The amazing series continues with Ryder's best friend Brayden and Dina's best friend who have been together for years. Bray has a kinky side and is also got some secrets. I loved the flawed characters and the fact that you have to work hard for what you want. Love comes too easily in books sometimes and even though they love each other more than anything there are obstacles BIG ONES! Great story and can't wait for the next one. FULL THROTTLE!
