"After Sequoia" tracks the coming-of-age of Jeffrey Rothfeld from 1970-1985, from running the hostel system in Western Canada, marrying a beauty queen, performing throughout Texas and Las Vegas, and founding a major company in Southern California. It is a story about a place and time that will never come again and the unique successes of a generation who made choices in favor of its own spirit.
Nathan Kositsky was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1947. He began writing in the summer of 1970.
In the early 70's, he won a government grant for creative writing, which allowed him to write through his twenties with an agent in New York and the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles, where he worked on several original screenplays and wrote seven novels. He has received many awards for his creativity including an Emmy from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
He married Andrea Arnold, a beauty queen and Hollywood starlet, then entered the advertising agency business, to help raise a family by "making money on a regular basis."
