What an AMAZING sequel to Irresistible Desire!!!!!!!! This trilogy has gotten me all riled up and hot, excited, and fucking stressed!!!
Inescapable Desire is the continuation of Savannah and Kayden's story. After becoming a couple, Savannah and Kayden quickly become attached to each other and start falling head over heels in love. Savannah knows that Kayden will never hurt her and she knows that she is safe with Kayden around. After making the big decision of moving back to Texas with Brooklyn, Logan surprisingly appears at their doorstep begging Savannah to take him back. After everything he has done and all of the talking and bullshit he has told the tabloids, Savannah quickly refuses and demands him to leave. Things get confrontational, and Savannah and Brooklyn's new neighbour, Jacob, appears on their doorstep. After that day, Jacob and his boyfriend become new friends and Savannah becomes happier with her decision of moving to Galveston. With Logan still in Texas and the unspeakable drama that happens with Jacob and his boyfriend, will Kayden and Savannah be able to get rid of the obstables that are put in their way???
Book 2 of the Savannah Trilogy did not disappoint in any way. Like I had said for book 1, the title and cover are so appealing. They immediatly caught my eye and attention so there's no way that I could have said no to Danielle when she offered me an ARC copy of Inescapable Desire!!!
The DRAMA, OH the DRAMA!!! I FUCKING LOVE DRAMA! and Inescapable Desire was FULL OF IT!
Firstly, Logan was such a persistent prick and kept causing shit. How dare he cheat on Savannah with any woman who would open her legs to him and then fly all the way to Texas to beg for her forgiveness??? AND he has the nerve to tell the tabloids that he has a sex addiction and signs up to be part of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew!!! I could not believe him and I was raging! And Jacob and his boyfriend... WOAH. I was not expecting that AT ALL. I was beyond shocked and so scared. Backstabbers is an understatement!!!
In the same vein, I was so happy when Savannah declined and demanded Logan to walk away. I'm so proud of her! Like in Irresistible Desire, Savannah was still strong, smart, confident and funny! She is such a bad ass and she stands up for herself like any girl should when she is faced with such a situation. It made me happy to see that she was able to overcome her heartbreak and pursue a relationship with Kayden.
Now, let me get started on my new obssesion.... Kayden Jonathan-Douglas Knox...That man literally has me combusting in my pants. What I would give to have a RL man like that. I just want him to lick...

Mr. Knox sure does know how to make your panties fly, or if it were up to him, you wouldn't have panties on ;) He was so dreamy, sweet and romantic, as always. He never ceased to amaze me! He also never ceased to show Savannah how much he cared for her and how much he thinks about her. They are the cutest couple and SCREW anyone who tries to mess with them. The day they professed their love for each other was beyond romantic and adorable. He was there for her no matter what and he protected her with all of his soul. That's what I call true love! I fell in love with him <3
In the end, 5 stars is actually too low for Inescapable Desire. Danielle overdid herself with this one and I am so proud of her work. The story was even more amazing that Irresistible Desire (and that's hard to beat) and that damn cliffhanger has gotten me feening for more! I cannot wait to see what happens in the last book of the Trilogy. The characters, the plot, the drama, the angst, the love, was just perfect! Trust me when I say that Inescapable Desire is one of the best reads I've read.

Inescapable Desire 5 BRILLIANT STARS If i could give it more i could
what can i say this book starts of right from where it ended in book 1
I'm not going to go into the plot or giveaway anything
because i really don't wont to spoil it for other fans only thing i will say it starts with a BANG
Savannah and Kayden's love story is just so enthralling to me. It pulled me in with Irresistible Desire and does the same with this book. There is something about Savannah and Kayden together that just captivates the hell out of me, and it just feels so right.
Just when i thought i couldn't love kayden anymore Bam in this book i couldnt be more in love with him he's sweet loving careing protective the way he is with
Savannah just WOW Oh yes and did i meantion hes just a hot country boy I was hooked from page 1 and I did not put it down until I finished the whole thing.
I loved the characters loved Savannah's bestie brooklyn she is just so loveable everyone needs a best freind like that in our lifes this book is intease funny and sad but will have you gripped from page 1 i think i can even say with my hand on my heart i LOVED this book more then the first one and i loved the first one a lot but be warned there is a big twist at the end that i didn't see coming and i was like OMG Danielle how can you do this to me
Its not often that a book can really pull the rug right out from under me with a Twist like that but I swear to you I did NOT see that ending coming!! Wow. Wow.
WOW WOW WOW! What an absolute jaw dropping ending! You will love it

I read both books but I'm going to do an all in one review so there may be spoilers. First, I thought the premise and the plot were decent but the execution of it left a lot to be desired.
1. Mechanics - This book and the prior in the series did one thing no book should ever do -- switch tenses constantly. It went from past tense to present tense and past tense and that happened all in one paragraph (through out the entire book). A story should remain primarily in one tense. There were also misspellings like "ware" instead of "wear". It yanked me from the story and put me in editing mode. I would suggest the author hire a professional editor next time out or if she has one, she should get a new one.
2. Dialogue - It was too unrealistic between Savannah and Kayden, especially in the first book. No one makes long drawn out confessions about how they feel about each other, in the middle of doing the deed, the second time they meet. It was over the top insta-love. The dialogue between Savannah and her best friend, Brooklyn, revolved around complimenting each other on how hot they thought each other looked. which brings me to the next point.
3. Internal narrative - I do not need to read about every thing Savannah and her friends dress up in every time they put clothes on; this included what is was, color and designer, how make-up was applied and what color that was too. If the author meant to make the characters sound vain, materialistic, shallow and two dimensional, then mission accomplished. Otherwise, about 15-20% of the books could've been cut to show more actual plot driven and character revealing material.
4. The love story - or the story about sex with a bit of love. The one aspect I did like was the protagonist didn't jump from one relationship to the other in the first book. However, it was so over-the-top insta-lust that it went straight for the sex and lacked a lot of emotion. There was a lot of telling not showing and it didn't feel natural. I skimmed many of the sex scenes because after a while it was obvious it was gratuitous and didn't reveal anything significant about the characters or forward the plot.
Overall, this book could have and should have been a lot better than it was.

Well well well, where to begin!
This author gave me this book in exchange for an honest review:
I was so so so excited Danielle let me beta read her novel because I simply fell in love with the first one. In fact, when I finished the book, my exact words to Danielle "HOLY SHIT GET BACK ONLINE!" Let me tell you folks if you read Irresistable Desire you MUST read this. In fact, I think this book could be read as a stand-alone. Danielle is the epic writer of sex scenes. Her sensuality is played out clearly in the books and desire reaks HOT in this novel, but something else happens with her sex scenes in this book than her first novel. Kayden, the main character, becomes more than just a good looking man with a great package, he becomes a boyfriend, a lover and someone who you can genuinly feel in love with. It was something that was lacking in her first novel, but man she struck out on this one feeding into the readers curiosity of Kayden & Savannah's relationship. I would have to say that Danielle is a better writer of sex than anyone (which includes EL James or Silvia Day!).
Okay okay, now I MUST talk about the plot twist at the end and it has taken me a while to try to figure out how I am going to write this without giving anything away. I started crying on the last couple pages when Kayden and Savannah shared such an intimate and sweet moment with each other. Their love extended outside the written page and into the deep hearts and mind of the reader (myself). When finally you reach the last couple of pages, your heart is ripped into a hundred different places tugging on the heartstrings. Yes, there is a cliffhanger (which I know many of you dont like) this cliffhanger is exciting knowing that another book is going to come out and explain what happened. The ending holds a MAJOR plot twist, which none of you will ever expect. In fact, I think danielle will have a lot of buzz soley because of the ending that occurs. It is FANTASTICALLY written.
Speaking of the writing, I wanted to comment on it because I am so proud and impressed at how much Danielle has matured as a writer since book 1. The writing doesnt seem as staged as some parts of book 1 and it flows. There are dramatically less spelling and gramatical errors as book 1 as well (props to the editor too!).
The last 17 pages is a POV from Kaydens view and WOW does it sum everything up!? It also pulls on your heart strings! It was a nice surprise from the ending that you just read. I'm hoping Danielle writes book 3 fast so I can read what happens!!!
Overall, this book is a hit. I am POSITIVE some publishing company is going to come and pick up the series because there can be no way possible this book is not going to be a hit. Danielle, you have yourself a million dollar book on your hand- BRAVO!

Warning....BEFORE you start to read this book, please make sure you have a few hours of free time. You will NOT want to be interrupted while you are emerged into this love story.
I really loved book 1....BUT I absolutely loved book 2. My emotions were all over the place while reading this book. You will fall in love with Kayden all over again. He is the perfect package: a good country boy, amazing in bed and fights for his girl. He has become my new Book Boyfriend.
Book 2 takes you on an emotional and touching journey of their relationship. Danielle Jamie's writing makes you feel like you are right there experiencing everything Kayden and Savannah are going through. You will feel their pain, their happiness and their heated intimate scenes. Savannah and Kaydens relationship will be tested time and time again but their indefinite love for one another keeps them strong. I love that even though there are serious situation being addresses in the book, Brooklyn's personality always brings me a smile when I encounter her in the book.
The twisted cliff hanger will leave you shocked, angry and in tears. I was a complete wreck when i finished the book. If it were a paperback, I would've thrown it across the room. My heart hurt after I finished reading it in Kaydens POV. I felt everything he was feeling for Savannah and to be honest, I feel like I personally know these characters.
I cant wait to see what happens in book 3. Kayden and Savannah have completely consumed my mind. Im not sure I can wait too long for book 3.
I want to give Danielle Jamie a HUGE congrats for this amazing series!

I was lucky enough to be chosen as a Beta reader for this book and OMG, after reading Irresistible Desire I said I couldn't love Kayden Knox any more than I already did... I was WRONG! Kayden is sweet and sexy and caring and loving, he is the perfect package all rolled into a hot as hell body!
This book picks up right where Irresistible Desire left off, and builds you up all the way through with fun, drama, laughs and extremely hot scenes throughout the whole book, along with new characters to meet too!!
Savannah and Kayden are perfect together and you feel their chemistry and passion in every scene. We get deeper into their relationship and how they feel about each other and you can really feel their connection whilst reading, it is amazing! I love Brooklyn just as much as I did in book #1, she is great and such a good best friend.
There is a massive twist in this book that will make your heart race and your stomach drop, I swear I had a dry mouth for a whole chapter!

I personally do.
I think fate played a big part not only in the books I'm reviewing,
but in REAL LIFE and how I got my hands on them.
A first time author with maybe 100 likes on facebook messaged a new blogger a few months ago asking if she would mind reviewing her book she was working on. After reading the synopsis, the blogger freaks out because it is set in a town she knows all about, right down the road in Galveston, TX. The author lives in New York and is delighted to find out that the blogger is willing to help her with places and facts about Galveston and the surrounding area so she can make the book as real as possible! Just....trust me. There have been some who say that Book 2 is just about sex. Yes there is a ton of love scenes in this book. But that is exactly what they are. LOVE scenes. Savannah and Kayden's love grows quickly between them because they please each other better and on a deeper level than anyone before. They go on many different adventures in this book and get to know each other without having sex too, but they really see how perfect they are together through their love making and pillow talk.
WARNING: This book ends in a HUGE cliffhanger!!! You will NEVER see it coming! Also, Irresistible Desire was Danielle Jamie's very first book, and it was wonderful. She wrote characters that you fall in love with, and a biggy for me: you want to be the main chick's best friend. But Inescapable Desire truly displays the talent that this stay at home mom of 3 has inside her. A first time author with maybe 100 likes on facebook messaged a new blogger a few months ago asking if she would mind reviewing her book she was working on. After reading the synopsis, the blogger freaks out because it is set in a town she knows all about, right down the road in Galveston, TX. The author lives in New York and is delighted to find out that the blogger is willing to help her with places and facts about Galveston and the surrounding area so she can make the book as real as possible! Came across this fuss for a book, on face book, along my friends that read, so I got book 1 and, I'd read it, friended the author and told her that I loved the book, anxiously waited for Memorial Day, extended weekend to read book 2, and again the author has left me wishing for the next book of this sassy read, along other things, the talented writer has us texans raving , the mention of a few places takes us right there closer to the story, as a person that had lived I texas for over 30 years, I love the mention of the UT Longhorns game, the bar scenes after a victory and the most exiting sassy accounts of intimacy between two lovers, Sweeps your mind into a really nice place. It has horse rides, limos rides, and all kinds of rides, along with a dramatic twist. Can't spoil this, only will add, this book should come with a warning, must read when you have the time, cause once you reach a certain point in this story, you will not want to put it down, along with another warning that I can't write here. When savannah was cheated on , the night of her engagement, little did she new that she would be trusting anybody, but faith has something way better for her in all the areas and then some more. She truthfully deserved to be cherished, loved and honored by a real gentleman. With a southern accent wearing a cowboy hat and boots, with a passion for her every second of the day. I will add that she updated well, and the book is a must read

I was given a copy of Inescapable Desire in exchange for a honest review!
3.5 Stars in my Sky!
First up I should probably warn you that this is most definitely an adult book, so if you're not comfortable reading adult fiction and in this case erotica then Inescapable Desire is not the book for you.
This is book 2 in the series so a quick recap is in order. Savannah caught her boyfriend of 4 years and recent fiance Logan in bed with another woman. Absolutely devastated Savannah finds it hard to trust again, until the former playboy Kayden Knox warms her heart (and bed). Book 2 starts with Savannah's move to Texas and her being in an official relationship with Kayden. Logan has tracked her down and is still very much a problem.
There's a lot of sex in the book, most of which was hot. There were a few times when I felt the sex scenes could have done with a bit more editing, to give them a more natural flow. Sex is notoriously hard (sorry no puns here) to write and in general I think that Danielle does a good job. I can't imagine many girls and a lot of guys who wouldn't want their own Kayden!
On to the story: The plot is structured to follow the developing relationship between Savanna and Kayden. Danielle throws in some fun twists and turns to add tension and drama. I have to say that I didn't see the ending coming, it was both great and extremely annoying - when you've read it yourself you'll see what I mean! Luckily I'm a big fan of cliffhangers, but I still wanted to read more! I cannot go into much detail because anything more will spoil the story.
I'm all for supporting indie authors and small publishers, hence my role in this tour. I really enjoyed Inescapable Desire. In places closer attention could have been paid to editing as there are incidents where the grammar was slightly off. This is only a small thing though, which I was more than willing to overlook because these errors don't really detract from the story. If you enjoy contemporary fiction coupled with 'sexy times' then Inescapable Desire is worth a read.

Again...Danielle Jamie knows how to write a HOT book!! I mean PHEW, I need a few hundred cold showers after reading her work.
This story picks up where Irresistible Desire left off. Even though Savannah and Kayden are now an item and have let it be known to the world. Her ex Logan Sander the MEGA DOUCHE shows up claiming his love for her. HAH such an ass.
"I would risk being a poor beggar on the streets, if it meant I was able to fuck you morning, noon and night my sweet...sweet...Savannah."
I really feel like I know these characters. The relationship that is blooming between Kayden and Savannah is so strong. Their passion is HOT and their need for each other seems so real. These two are like jack rabbits.
I spoke with the author about this after reading a few other reviews and saw how it was getting a few bad ratings saying this story was simple the two of them having sex and nothing more. Well, my feeling is, YES, they have lots and lots of sex in the story, I look at it as we get to see them grow closer to each other with each sex scene. Their passion is strong and their need is even stronger. There were a few parts when there was a bit of drama but nothing too much and then they were back at it but seriously it was hot!
At about the 60% mark the book just moved. I couldnt put it down for a second. At one point my husband was having a full conversation with me and I even answered him until apparently I answered him wrong and he realized I was reading and not paying attention to a single word he said. Opps :)
"I feel as if I'm free falling when I'm with you. It's terrifyingly exhilarating, I don't ever want to stop falling Savannah."
This is a fast paced read with a great story. The main characters are extremely likable. I even love the secondary characters. Brooklyn the BFF...she is AWESOME and I want a friend exactly like her. Jax the bodyguard, YUM...the friend Braxten and his wife Mya are AWESOME and funny.
Just as a warning there is a HUGE cliffhanger but you dont have to wait long since book 3 with be released on August 5th. The ending left me freaking out saying "OMG WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?!?!?"
Please give this trilogy a try! This is a great story with an awesome author! I really enjoyed it and cant wait to staring diving right into book 3!

Well we asked and boy did you deliver..I really enjoyed the first book but seeing you grow as a writer on the second book was something else all on its own.Getting to know Kayden in this book just makes you fall in love with him even more.I sat there reading this book with a cheesy grin on my face falling in love with this couple as they fell in love with each other.Then at 89% of the book I could feel that feeling, you know the one all of us readers have it, its the OH shit feeling and yes I clocked it at 89% because I knew it was to good to be true.You know that feeling of trying to stop something and go back in time when everything was happy but you just keep swiping that finger to the next page thinking please dont do what i think your gonna do yeah that feeling followed by the seventh sense (once again only us readers have) the cliffhanger sense.WEll played Danielle Jamie you had me up till the wee morning thinking of what the heck you will be doing in the third book to screw with my emotions just a little more.

I really loved the beginning of the story in book 1, but was somewhat of a honeymoon phase for me because I began having higher expectations for book 2.
I expect a second book to start answering some questions and developing the plot more - esp. by the end at least. This book is mainly all about sex and continues to leave many questions left unanswered. The characters also commit too quickly to one another it seems, esp. a playboy and a girl who just got her heart broke, seems it would be a bit more difficult (not a huge fan of insta-love).
And yes, editing still continues to detract from story. Don't get me wrong, chemistry alone will have me continue reading, but writer needs to start following through on the crumbs she has left for the readers cause we are getting a bit starved to find out the answers to some of these loose ends.

OMG!!!! This book was by far better than the first one! It was unexpected and filled with so much drama!
Savannah ~ Oh I loved her in this one. The way she decked Logan was hilarious, I laughed out loud at that scene! But oh he so deserved it! As for her relationship with Kayden, I liked how it slowed but still grew at a steady pace. I felt they actually had a genuine connection in this book! True, she was a little to trusting when it came to Zak & Jacob. From the club scene I thought those two were a little off. But d**n, I did not expect them to do what they did!
Kayden ~ He was a genuine nice guy, he actually stepped up to the plate and defended his relationship with Savannah. He's a hopeless romantic and I can see how women would take full advantage of him to further themselves.
Overall this was a great story and I absolutely loved it compared to the first book!

3 generous stars!
This is the second book in the series and I found this one to be drawn out! There was too much details of the mundane day to day events that it didn't provide any insight to the stories plot, except to drag the story along.
There was a lot of sex scenes that I found myself skimming those parts just to get to the plot of the story! Finally in the last chapter an event occurs that comes out of left field that I'm like "okay, so this is random!" Then the story ends and we have to read book 3 and 4 to get closure on Kayden and Savanna! Well, I'm ending my journey here with these two. I just have a feeling that the next two books are going to be drawn out as well and I just don't feel like finding out that I'm right.

I just finished reading this last night and all I can say is OMG!
This book had my eyes glued to my phone, it's erotic exciting and had me on the edge of my seat.
The author wasted no time with descriptions and had every detail very descriptive.
I can't wait to see what's next in store for ms. Savannah Livingston and the hunky heart throb Kayden Knox.
Or should I say (Mr. Rox my sox)
This is a MUST READ.
I can't get enough of this duo.
If you haven't read this yet well you have to.
I recommend getting some tissue, a drink and sit somewhere where you won't fall out of your chair.

It was amazing!!!I loved the first book but I adore this one...It was absolutely amazing!!!
Savannah and Kayden are officially one of the best couples ever created!!!...
But the end was breathtaking..Kayden praying and crying over Savannah was beyond words..I was hanging over each and every word Danielle wrote....I was so into it that I'm still shaking by its intensity in the end...
This book just got out and I already finished it and I'm begging for next book...Oh God what feelings this book brought out...

It starts of were the first book finished BUT wow. Savannah made the choice by getting out of LA away from Logan. Kayden and Savannah fresh relationship, and wow what a relationship, Kayden got lots of stamina but you can tell its true love for both. Savannah and Brooklyn friendship is amazing, I love the way Savannah sings to Kayden but its Brooklyn sings to Jax & dixon aswell which is fun. What I was not expecting was the ending but wow what a cliffhanger. Cant wait till the next book, I fell in love with Kayden knox. What an amazing author!

Wow this story carrys on Straight from book one. We get to see Savannahs and Kaydens relationship grow. Logan is still a big douchebag i hate him..Kayden is still a god. Savannah is as sweet as ever. Kayden is the most loving caring sweet man he needs to be real. Jacob and Zac become friends with Savannah. The last chapters of this book had me on the edge of my seat it was amazing..straight onto book three.

Bad ass! I love Kayden Knox and there could not have been a better or more unexpected way to end it for part 3. Savannah is a gun toting country girl/diva and a fabulous character; very well written and you can see the growth in the writer from book one to this second in the trilogy. Great job Danielle; looking forward to the happily ever after to come!

Right off the bat I have to admit that I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I did the first. Aside from Savannah deciding to relocate to avoid the all drama surrounding her very public breakup and Logan making a few random appearances to try and re-stake his claim, nothing happens. Like nothing. No, wait I lied, lots of sex happens but that’s it.
For being the 2nd installment in a series, this book is pretty uneventful and doesn’t really add much to the story until the very end, when the action finally picks up. But, we’re left with yet another cliffhanger, which again didn’t really bother me because I had the next book handy. The ending stands out in a big way mostly because the rest of the book fell kind of flat. I’m actually not quite sure how I feel about it because it’s such a huge contrast from the original light hearted tone of the story. So I’ll let you form your own opinions on it.
Okay, so back to all that sex. When reading, I love a good storyline with sex thrown in, NOT a ton of sex with a story thrown in…somewhere. It’s almost like the point of this book got lost in all the marathon sexcapades that were going on between Savannah and Kayden. As I mentioned in my review for book 1, I enjoy a good smut fest, so I’m not by any means offended or made uncomfortable by all the hot and heavy scenes. These were just (bad) porn star inspired sex scenes that I eventually just skimmed through because they were so ridiculous.
Savannah and Kayden seem to love to stroke each other’s egos. It was just compliment after compliment about every little thing, all leading back to…you guessed it…SEX. And then after each sexual encounter they have to declare how mind blowing or earth shattering it was, stroking each other’s egos yet again. I honestly don’t know how they fit their big heads through the door. Also, as was my issue with the first book, I don’t need a play by play, where everything they intend to do to each other needs to be announced BEFORE it actually happens.
I apologize for my sexcapades rant, but I just hate to see a story fall short, especially when it’s part of an ongoing series. So as you may have guessed, I can't recommend this book, which stinks because its not a standalone and you will need the beginning and end (definitely not the middle) to understand the next book.
For being the 2nd installment in a series, this book is pretty uneventful and doesn’t really add much to the story until the very end, when the action finally picks up. But, we’re left with yet another cliffhanger, which again didn’t really bother me because I had the next book handy. Trying to escape a broken heart and try love again Savannah has moved to Galveston, Texas and started life over and with a benefit of having Kayden freakin Knox by her side.(Swoon)
Savannah is constantly harassed by the paparazzi and Logan is constantly hounding her believing she will forgive the unforgivable and come running back into his arms.
As the relationship between Kayden and Savannah grows although the problems that appears in their path.. Kayden with the past of a playboy is really a prince charming, so loving and caring..sexy as hell, and when you think it is all good , they are gonna make it happy ever after, but life never works out just like we want. Trusting in the wrong people can get you in alot of trouble.
I am really enjoying this series. Kayden Knox has climbed my list of best book boyfriends. He is amazing, sweet, thoughtful, and a southern gentleman who might we add is a sex god and wrapped up in sex on stick hotness . The plot line is definitely through me for a WTF moment; I could not believe what I just read. I did not see that ending coming at all.

This is my 5 snowflake review for Inescapable Desire by Danielle Jamie for Eskimo Princess Book Blog.
This novel continues on with the passionate love affair between Savannah Livingston and Kayden Knox. Savannah has decided to move to Texas to get away from her high profile life in LA. As her relationship with Logan went south her life in LA become more than she could take. She is constantly harassed by the paparazzi and Logan is constantly hounding her. What will Kayden take the news of her moving the Texas where he lives? What will happen when Logan shows up in Texas trying to win her back?
If I thought Kayden was mind blowing in Irresistible Desire, he is out of this world in Inescapable Desire. Kayden is so romantic, he makes your heart sore and your panties disintegrate. He really does know who to rock a woman’s world, wow, is all I will say about that. He is at the top of his game, but will it be enough to keep Savannah happy? When the unthinkable happens how will Kayden deal with the possibility of losing her forever?
I am really enjoying this series. Kayden Knox is quickly climbing my list of best book boyfriends. He is amazing, sweet, thoughtful, and a southern gentleman. The plot line is definitely keeping me on my toes. I did not see that ending coming at all. I can’t wait to dive into book three Indestructible Desire. What will happen next between Kayden, Savannah and their list of friends? The secondary characters are just as fun to read about. Brooklyn is a hoot, and I can’t wait to see who she finally decides to get her hooks into.

WARNING!! ... THIS NOVEL IS TOO STEAMY TO READ IN PUBLIC.
Inescapable Desire is book two in Danielle Jamie’s Savannah Series, if you haven’t read book one then you need to before you read this one. It starts off where book one finishes and throws you straight into the drama that is Logan Sanders not being able to let go of Savannah. He is unwilling to let her move on without putting up a fight, so that is exactly what he does it comes unexpectedly because he was the one that ruined their relationship and she even moved states to get away from him, only someone as obnoxious as Logan Sanders would follow their ex across the country thinking that his actions and a few not so convincing words would bring her back. I love Savannah’s attitude when it comes to him, Brooklyn rubbed off on her in a good way and it shows how sassy and feisty she can really be.
For me book isn’t as fast paced as book one and there isn't tonnes of drama, but don't get me wrong it isn’t drama free. Between Logan, Giselle and the tabloids Savannah and Kayden have their work cut out trying to have a normal relationship. The sex scenes in this book are very very steamy, i’d even go as far as to say they are hotter than the ones in book one, you think those got you hot and bothered then watch out for this one. Holy Kayden Knox, that closet scene, that is all i’m going to say on that! The whole book is very well written and the characters growth is obvious and it makes me excited for book three, especially with that cliff-hanger ending.. I was not expecting that to go down the way it did, i’ll not say anymore as I don't want to spoil the surprise. 5 Stars!

This is the continuation of Savannah & Kayden’s story. I really loved the the 1st installment of this series but Inescapable Desire was a bit disappointing.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a full blown hot sex scenes in a book but in this book, it was too much. Yes, it was damn hot but it seems like it was all sex all the time. I get that Savannah & Kayden are one hot and horny couple and what they feel for each other is so damn deep and that it’s like a honeymoon phase for em but I felt like there is no story anymore other than em having sex all the time. All was easy breezy and hot sex til the last part. Danielle gave us a cliffhanger but it didn’t satisfy my expectations. It was like it was thrown out of the blue just so there would be a cliffhanger. I was expecting a lot more from this book but IDK, I just didn’t expect it would be like this. I needed more. A story that doesn’t just revolve around sex all freakin time.
I’m sorry but it didn’t do well for me. Of course, I will still read book 3 and I hope it would include something more than just sex.

Savannah Livingston has recently suffered a very humiliating and public break-up of a long term relationship. In Book #2 of the trilogy, the story picks up right where it left off in Book #1. She has decided to move away to enable herself to move on from the drama that plagues her breakup. In doing that, she begins to open her heart to a new man - the renowned, wealthy playboy, Kayden Knox. Danielle Jamie's characters and storyline have such great potential. Savannah is a gorgeous, fiesty girl with a great career. Kayden Knox is hot, "everything-is-bigger-in-Texas" sexy and rich. We are introduced to a few new secondary characters and reacquainted with several others from Irresistable Desire. This second book of the series did not flow as well as the first. The plot and the dialog felt a little forced this time around. The sex scenes were steamy, however, I was left wanting more "story". Much more could have been done with the storyline and plot, particularly given the twist at the end. If more had been added throughout the story, to uphold the twist/cliffhanger ending, it would have made for a better book.

This is the second book in the Savannah series. It is telling Savannah and Kayden's relationship as it grows. If you can imagine, Logan does come back and it is a testing of how close Kayden has become. I liked the hotness between these two. The book was full of passion!
Together Brooklyn and Savannah embark on a move to Galveston. I think this could have been easily accepted had they waited longer than a week or two. I just became bothered by the fact that she up and moved so quick. I wanted them together, so I needed a little longing for one another. Just totally my opinion. I would have invested a lot more sooner had they waited a little. Savannah had no time to heal from Logan and enjoy single life.
I think as a series goes you need to read book 1 and I dare say it was better than this one. In a few rare books do I ever say it was too much sex, but this was the case for me anyways. I thought they need to learn about each other and not more positions. The redemption comes in the last 1/4 of the book. That is where the heart of this story starts. Enjoy it. This book has many many juicy parts! What an ending!

What a simple and beautiful series of second chances, family and friends and the love that wraps them all together. Danielle Jamie does a wonderful job delivering the story of Savannah Livingston and Kayden Knox, two people who had given up on the hope of love but find one another and decide to ignore the thoughts in their head and follow their hearts.
Savannah Livingston thinks she has it all. She's got a wonderful relationship that she's been in for the last 4 years, a dream job, supportive parents that love her and great friends.
Kayden Knox is the typical rich bad boy. Never settling very long with the same girl, Kayden doesn't plan on settling down, trusting anyone beyond his inner circle. What Kayden does know is how to have a good time, whether in one of his many hotel properties, one of his night clubs or personal homes scattered around the world.

After reading book 2 in the Savannah Series I can honestly say I am totally in love with this Series. When you read these books you feel like you are part of the story. It just grabs you and pulls you right into it and you can't stop reading. The chemistry between Kayden and Savannah is steamy and and the sex in these books are HOT HOT HOT. What I love most about this series is the story is about more than just hot steamy sex. The story line is wonderful. You have to keep reading to see what is going to happen next. The plot flows from one book to the next seamlessly and Danielle James pulls everything together for you. She does leave you hanging in the end with a cliffhanger for the next book that so you will find yourself thinking about this story even when you are not reading the book. I am so happy there will be more of Savannah and Kayden to come.
