Carolyn DeCarlo is hiding in the dark here somewhere. Or is she in the light? Jackson Nieuwland is hiding in the dark here somewhere. Or is he in the light?

I like the way this book is put together. It took me a second to figure it out. I like the way the poems work too. I will read it again.

We need more and different approaches to short collections of writing. Check this out and then seek out folks doing more of this. Do more of this yourself.

It took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out how to get "inside" the book.

Now that I have read it, I can say that the observations are plainly stated, but they expose something beautiful in the way the language is experienced. Oh and the ebook layout takes me in the darkness and the light.
