Danny had a terrible childhood. It was so bad, he developed a rather strange way to escape the reality of the neglect and abuse he suffered.
Some children make up imaginary friends, others lose themselves in a fictional world of books.
Danny followed people.
When Fate intervened and Danny was saved from the cruel life his mother subjected him to, he was still unable to stop following strangers. He felt like, just for a while, he could forget his own life and problems as he joined this person in their life.
One night, whilst Danny is feeling sorry for himself concerning his relationship with his girlfriend, the feeling grips him and he follows a young man who seems to have the life Danny craves.
Unfortunately, this particular young man is being followed by another, another who doesn't intend to just watch.
The tables turn on Danny as he is no longer the watcher, but the watched.
People around Danny begin to get hurt as he is taught a lesson in watching From the Shadows...
