Excellent! The most accessible mathematical text I've ever encountered. At the same time, still completely rigorous.

This is probably one of the most elementary books you would encounter. For pure mathematics, the first thing you need to do is to get rid of the fear of the topic itself. I was scared of the term "topology", that is why I wanted to read the most basic stuff for topology, the one that contain first definitions and good number of examples and then lemmas and theorems. So, in that sense, this book gave me the courage to proceed to the next stage of topology like munkres.

There is really no prerequisites for this book. One thing I would like to add here is that don't spend too much time on this book. This is an extremely easy book, so as soon as you start to "get rid of the fear", start reading more standard textbooks like Munkres or if you want to, then you can read munkres and this together but don't just rely on this book.

It should be a more self reading book. For e.g. Before starting any topic, I like to start with 3 books of the topic, one most elementary, one standard and one graduate level. Then, find a balance of reading between these three level of books. So, I started this book as the elementary level book.
Rated this 4, just because the confidence it provided me to work on topology and not based on its contents.

It's one of the most underrated books on point set Topology. It's just the appropriate book for students wishing to start their course on Topology. Everything is written in the simplest possible manner....no complex vocabulary, no complex argument. Also, the author has added some video links with the book which elaborate more on the topics

If you are struggling with Topology as most of the students do in the beginning, then I highly recommend you to take up this book.

This is the easiest book on Topology that I have come across. It took me 4 months to finish it, while understanding all the mathematics inside. For any one interested in mathematics, its a good book to read. The format of book is straight forward, first comes the statement, then the proof and finally explanation of the proof. It makes the subject easier to understand. Though some previous knowledge of geometry, Algebra and set theory is required to understand the book fully.
