This book is WONDERFUL! I was not expecting to be so invested in the beekeeping process. I thought for certain it would bore me, but it totally drew me in and had me wanting to learn more about it. Normally my focus is all the romance, and while it was there, I think I appreciated watching them just form a friendship first. This was a wonderful story. With Jacob coming to his Uncle Caleb's farm to inherit it, only to find that the farm hand Rebecca also thought she was going to inherit it. And we watch as they butt heads over and over, and then somehow they start opening up and we see enemies slowly start to break down those walls. Then just when you think you know how it will all unfold, Uncle Caleb throws in surprise that challenges even Jacob and Rebecca's growing friendship. This is SUCH a good story!!!
Rebecca and Jacob find themselves working together under some quite unpleasant circumstances. They're unpleasant because each one has their own agenda, which doesn't always mesh. However, as they continue to work together, something begins to change in each of them which is a complete game changer, especially when Caleb adds his two cents into it. Their story is a fun romance with a touch of faith and a lot of bees, and I absolutely loved it.
This is such a good book to read. Rebecca has worked for Caled for 5 years. She has a successful Bee business. Then Caleb sends for his nephew Joseph to take over everything. This was creating so many issues. I laughed and I cried. You truly can learn alot when you read these stories. They teach you life's lessons.
An interesting book to learn more on bees. My daughter talked about getting bees so this read gave more info. It's also more on the Amish, which I enjoy reading about. 5 stars
Cute story. 4 stars as it was a little predictable but a nice easy read. I am getting into beekeeping and this was an easy way to learn a little more and peak that interest.
