About the author

Michael Youssef is the founder and president of Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef, a worldwide ministry that leads the way for people living in spiritual darkness to discover the light of Christ through the creative use of media and on-the-ground ministry teams (www.LTW.org). His weekly television programs and daily radio programs are broadcast in 25 languages and seen worldwide, airing more than 13,000 times per week. He is also the founding pastor of The Church of The Apostles in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Youssef was born in Egypt, but in 1984, he fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming an American citizen. He holds numerous degrees, including a PhD in social anthropology from Emory University. He has authored more than 35 books, including recent popular titles The Barbarians Are Here and Jesus, Jihad and Peace. He and his wife have four grown children and eight grandchildren.

You will be praising God for bringing this book into your life

The Bible repeatedly exhorts us to praise God and this books is a manual for following that instructions

The book starts by describing the blessings that praising god will bring into your life. The author answers the questions why we should praise God, why God delights in our praise because of how it changes us.

There are challenges to being a person of person of praise and ways to overcome these challenges. You will learn about the elements of praise, the components that produce the environment for praise. In one of the chapters there are examples of praising God so you can see how easy it can be.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It revealed how natural it is to Glorify God in praise, how easy it is, and how necessary it is for your own spiritual life and for those around you.

The book also includes a study guide to help you, or your group, dive deep and get the most out of the text.

This book opens up clearly what it really means to praise the most high almighty God of heaven and earth. I am convinced every Christian that read this book would at least start seeing praise differently. It is good to praise the Lord!

A wonderful book about the power and importance of praise in our lives. So often we get caught up giving God a list of all the things we want or need that we failed to stop and acknowledge who he is. And the thing is when we do that… Acknowledge and focus on who he is… It has great impact on our prayer life.

God loves to hear our praise. When we know how wondrous is His grace toward us and that His plan is always for our good; we can praise Him even when life is filled with trials and tribulations. "Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" God says.
