Blademan's Return
When the body of a young woman is found in her apartment, with what looks like death by strangulation, Detective Dawson Johnson suddenly becomes caught up in a battle he thinks he's left behind.
Only one person can strangle his victim to death without any traceable prints left behind. But that same person is thought to have been killed months earlier, so Dawson tells himself the case has nothing to do with the past.
However, when more bodies begin to turn up, with victims slashed to death, Dawson's denial about the past monster's involvement begins to erode. He concludes no one else but Blademan kills his subsequent victims by cutting them.
He must have returned from the dead.

Excellent thriller/mystery, with a top-notch twist. Fast-paced, interesting characters. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
