Winchester James has a life that's just about as perfect as a life can be; perfect job, perfect penthouse apartment and the perfect girlfriend, Madison.

After dating for two years, Madison is afraid they'll get married and spend the rest of their lives boring each other to death. She decides Winchester needs to meet her Bohemian cousin, Skye.

Winchester doesn't know why he keeps ending up in the company of Madison's cousin, Skye -- who also happens to be his boss' daughter. All he knows is when he's with her, his legendary control goes out the window -- so much so that an unbalanced ex-girlfriend pays a sleazy journalist to catch them in a compromising position...more than once.

Can Winchester convince Skye that she's exactly what's been missing from his (not so) perfect life?

Born and raised in Texas, Lisa is happily married and lives with her husband, two amazing children, Jingles Wigglebottom (the wonder dog), Cash (the Chiweenie), and Socks (the world's laziest cat). Since learning to put crayon to paper, all Lisa really ever wanted to do is write. After years of keeping her writing to herself, or sharing with family and friends, Lisa decided it was time to "put up or shut up".

In June of 2012, Lisa uploaded her first ebook, McKenna's Prayer (McKenna's Haven, Book 1); the story is one of love, friendship and above all, realizing that God's plan for us is always best. When that book was finished, Lisa felt compelled to continue the story and write the resolution to the story of one character. With each story, more characters came to life, and when the series was finished, there were five books!

Lisa is always working on something, and loves to hear from readers!

My only complaint is that this book is the last in the series. I love the stories that Lisa Crane develops. Each new character has a love interest, but each character is an individual and the plots each have great twists to them. I love how the characters from the other books are revisited in the next book and she shares enough of a back story so you don't feel left out of what had happened in prior books.
Each character goes through changes but keeps his/her focus on the right thing to do and their Christian character shines through their actions.

A great way to end the series. A sweet Christian Romance, the story flowed well, characters are interesting. This was my favorite of the series. I really enjoyed Win & Skye's story. I hate to see the series end. I really wanted to meet more friends and family because the McKenna Haven books were very enjoyable to read. Thank you Lisa Crane for a delightful collection.

PG13 - descriptive kissing, no sex, no swears "Clean Read"

I was so intrigued by Win's story and thought it all had so much potential. I liked this story, but not as much as I liked the other four in this series. I appreciated the realistic moral struggles the H and h had when they were dealing with their physical attraction. I appreciated the whole opposites attract slant, too, especially when dealing with "uptight" Winchester. All that was awesome. But, I like a little more conflict to keep the H and h apart and this conflict was weak. I also would like to have more insight into Win's thoughts as he made the transition from staid attorney to man in love. Not my favorite, but a nice read.

Another great volume in this heart-tugging series! While the book may start off slow in terms of romance, it surely makes up for it in later chapters! I simply love how Mrs.Crane writes heated scenes between her couples without being crude or explicit! She writes such scenes truthfully yet with delicate tact! Perfect read for women looking for pure Christian romance that depicts more than a stray kiss.

It's always the quiet ones. WOW!

Win, who is always reserved, even described as uptight, and a stick in the mud, falls hard for Skye. This story shows that Christians DO also have the same passions and desires as the rest of the world, but that it's how we deal with those that are part of what makes us different. Great story. Glad to see Win finally loosen up. I hear there is one more story in the works. Hurry up and complete that book, Lisa! LOL

This was my favorite so far of the McKenna's Prayer series. This one brings to mind the Julie Lessman motto "Not your grandmother's inspirational fiction". Opposites attract is the best description of this very interesting couple. Neither of them is perfect, something I appreciate as someone who is far from perfect myself. Each of them experienced growth as the story progressed. Once again, had to order the next book in the series when I finished this one.

Fantastic book and a wonderful series. I love the well-developed characters and the I-simply-could-not-put-it down-until-completed intrigue. Thanks for another great book, Lisa.

Don't miss this interesting and wonderful series. I highly recommend it.
