This is an amazing story! For those who haven't read the actual Free Four book by Veronica Roth, this is a wonderful alternative. KATo13 uses quotes from the Free Four story, so you might recognize them if you have read VR's book. In my opinion, KAT gives a great insight of Tobias/Four's mind throughout the entire Divergent story, and also for Insurgent, if you've read her other story. This gives you an entirely different point of view of the Divergent world, and shows you what Tobias thinks of Tris. I personally loved this, because the entire time I was reading Divergent, I couldn't help but think, "What is Tobias actually thinking right now?" For all of those Divergent fans, this is a pleasant read, and isn't too long. It reveals a lot of questions you might have had when first reading Divergent. You revisit lots of the scenes in Divergent, and I loved it! I can't wait to read Free Four: Tobias Tells the Story.

I didn't really know what to expect for this book after reading the Divergent series, and, of corse, loving them. To be honest I think I loved Four more when Tris wasn't around and it was his friends and him, taking risks and drinking and pulling pranks. What I loved is how, when Roth writes, it isn't a teenager using big words and thoughtless speeches because the writer is an adult, but she really gets into the head of this young boy and I think she has discovered him so we'll in these stories compared to Allegiance.m

I'm not going to rate this book 'cause i don't want loads of fanfic coming up in my recommendations but this was very good for fanfic. it doesn't necessarily add very much to the story but the parts where tobias is on his own were very well written and were a nice insight to what was possibly happening. It was actually very ahrd to tell the two different writing styles of Veronica Roth and KAT013 apart so that was also very cool. All in all, a solid 3.5/5.

This was really well done. Fan fiction at its best. Divergent from Four's Pov. I had read Roth's Free Four, the one scene in divergent from Four's pov and it left me wanting more. This fixed my "Four craving" nicely. My thanks to the author for writing it and honoring Tobias's voice , character and personality throughout the scenes
